Well rounded starter kit..

Well rounded starter that will allow you to build a few kits and then appreciate the costlier individual upgrades/replacements. I have used all items except the model separator (yellow plastic card) and the microfiber cloth. The sanding sticks are really useful and I learned a new technique as a result. Sniper is solid. Knife is mesh, but easily replaced when the blades are used up. The sanding sticks seem silly but they are small and rigid which is essential for cleaning sprues and tabs. The. file is very useful, mostly due to being small.

Absolutely Worth Getting!

Honestly, I've been modelling for so many years, and only now did I actually bother getting a tool kit vs. using unsatisfactory household items for tools, lol. And boy am I glad I did! It really is a great kit! It's got really everything you need, and all the tools are of great quality! And for the price, it's certainly well worth it!

Surprisingly good for the price

Bought this to build models with my kids so they wouldn't destroy my tools. Might buy another so they can each have one. The tweezers are extremely precise, and the nippers are wonderfully sharp. The only complaint is that the knife is a bit fiddly and comes loose unless you crank it down extremely tight. Definitely worth the money spent

Good value for a 2nd set of tools.

I use this to take along with me when I am building models someplace other than my home. It's great value and very handy for doing that. It's also a good starter for somebody just getting into modeling that they want all their tools at one time.

great aid for working with models

Got this for a 13 yr old boy. using the clippers and the sanding boards and files the most. He really liked it

Great Starter set

Definitely a great beginner set with all the simple tools one would need to get started with a miniature hobby.

TLDR Citadel quality, Harbor Freight price

Ive only had this kit for a few weeks so durability is going to be hard to account for currently but this kit is great for the money. Some of the items feel rather cheap but work better than my name brand equipment. The hobby knife has decent quality blades and the clippers are a breeze to cut with.

Good deal

Great for the price. The nippers are good depends on how you use them really. You can achieve two good full builds with them. The kit is very nice and the extras are a plus.
