Easy, robust enough, and rather handsome

Anyone who isn't a complete disaster with a wrench will be able to install these easily. The underbody on a 2018 crew cab f150 had studs pre-installed for the brackets and they went on easily. I used a box to hold up one end of the tube, started the bolt on the other end and the rest is history. It took maybe 45 minutes, including cleaning a bunch of mud off the front stud set. Step height is good, they are quite sturdy and they look great.

Shipped fast and fits a 2018. I was scared when I read the instruction manual, stating 2015 - 16 f150. 2017 F250... But it fit

Super easy to Install

I was a bit nervous taking on this install project by myself but it was amazingly easy. First Ford does a great job already having the threaded mounting bolts welded to the frame of the truck, All you have to do is place the three brackets over the mounting bolts then add the supplied nut and washer. The nerf bar is then attached by 1 threaded bolt to each bracket. Once you make sure everything is lined up and level you do a final tightening of all the bolts and you are done. it took me about 1hr to do the drivers side but only 20 min to do the passenger side as I felt like an expert at that point. Best to have an extra set of hands but I was able to do it solo by holding up one end with a cardboard box while securing the other end. The wife can now get in the truck without a step stool, and I must admit it is a lot easier for me as well. One word of caution with this kind of Running Board, there is a gap between the bar and the truck frame, someone with small feet or a lady in high heels could easily get the leg caught between the two . Other than that everything came in one box, no missing parts, decent instructions.

Fit 2018 F150 4x4 Super Crew, but arrived with dents...

They fit my 2018 F150 4x4 Super Crew perfectly and are a great product, but they arrived with some dents/dings. We had to leave for a trip and needed them for kids (and mom) to get in and out easily. It would be a great idea to completely unpack everything before installing. I had a mechanic scheduled to install them right before leaving on our trip. Otherwise, I would have swapped them for another set and waited. However, they are a solid product, fit perfectly, and look great on the truck. So, go for it!

Great Product!!!

These are fantastic and easy to install. Perfect directions, had them both on in under an hour. I got the 3” and they are perfect. Great experience start to finish, highly recommend!

Low-cost, but useful and easy to install

I've always purchased vehicles with running boards installed. My 2019 F-150 did not come with running boards, so I decided to buy some aftermarket steps. I liked the black look of these bars. I was initially worried about installation, as I am not the most handy individual around a vehicle. I have to say however, it was easy! My 12 year old helped me. We put on the plastic spacers, and bolted the mounts underneath the truck. The screws are already there. You just have to slip the mount into place and tighten. Couldn't be easier. Final step is to then mount the actual step to the 3 mounts. All hardware was included and everything went really well. (And my son was very proud to have helped!). I'll report back if the bars wear or rust. The instructions do say to wax the running boards in order to preserve them best.

Easy to install and saved $400!

The side steps are perfect for our new pick up. the ford dealership quoted us $500+ to put small steps on our crew cab. Since my husband is not 'mechanically inclined' we were hesitant to purchase steps and install them ourselves and just about let the dealership install the small ones for us. Could hardly believe the great price we saw on Amazon so we ordered them and prayed. They were delivered sooner than expected and by the time I got home myhusband had them on the truck and they are great! So happy to have them.

Very budget friendly, functional, and sporty looking!!!

Excellent product!!! Got this product for my 2018 Ford F-150 STX for several reasons: 1) Needed to accommodate for ride height which is inconvenient to certain family members/ friends 2) Help protect from possible tears in seat due to sliding around in seat upon entering or exiting 3) Aesthetics These things work great; very sturdy and nice finishing to them. Very good alternative if you’re looking to save, and a great alternative if yours didn’t come with OEM running boards. Definitely gets my approval for being great bang for buck.

Great side steps

Love these side steps. Easy to install. Looks good. Only time will tell how long the plastic steps will last. Happy with them.

Works well just needs some work

They're thinner than many others but work fine. Make sure to paint the hardware because they do rust
