I haven't had this combo very long. I received it on September 23. But I have noticed a big difference in my hair. I recently decided to get off of hormonal birth control, since I found out it is a class one carcinogen. I have been experiencing hair loss due to the drastic change in hormones. I was on it for 12.5 years. I expected some noticeable changes, but the amount of hair I was losing was scary. I used this with high doses of Biotin and 2% Minoxidil twice a day. I am still losing some hair but I am growing a lot more new hair than I was before. It also adds a TON of volume and shine. That helped a lot when I was really starting to notice the thin parts of my hair. It seems silly but my confidence took a huge hit when I started losing my hair. This has really helped. I researched a lot of other products and this one seemed to have the best price and best reviews. I was not paid to use the product or post this review. Also, sorry for the first photos. They aren't the best quality. I wanted to get a photo before I used the product, so it was at 5am after a run.

My wife and I love the way our hair feels after using PURA! Our dry scalp is gone (it's been hard to find a dandruff shampoo). Also, it seems like my hair thickness (number) has improved and as if I am losing less hair daily when using this product. Most of the time I follow up with 2 types of argon oil so that my hair can be weighted a little...though it's not really necessary now with this shampoo & conditioner combo since my hair is not frizzy after usage (which is a 1st). As for my receding hairline...the surrounding hair has been growing well, but I don't see any improvement at the receeded location; continued stress could be a factor which may be preventing any swift growth. We will continue vying this product because it is overall a very good product with good outcomes. The number 1 ingredient in both shampoo and conditioner is aloe; unlike comparative products which typically have water as their number one ingredient. You get what you pay for with PURA.

Best Shampoo/Conditioner for fine/thinning hair!!!!!

I have tried the Pura d'or blue and ...eh. I decided to try this and LOVE IT!!!. I have thinning/fine hair, I color it, My hair seems fuller and not as thin! When I pull my hair back, it seems to me as my hair is growing back around the temple area. I only condition the ends. The amount of hair in the drain has decreased dramatically. I love that this product does not have all the nasty chemicals and is not tested on animals. I will definitely be buying more! UPDATE 8/13/2018 I have continued to use Pura d'or and I no longer have even one hair come out in the shower and less than 20 after drying and styling. My stylist even noticed how much thicker my hair is.

I really like this shampoo and conditioner. My hair was coming out all over the bathroom floor and in my hair brush. That was troubling to me as a woman. I used it as directed and noticed my hair thickening and less hair in my brush and on the floor. I'm on my second order and plan to continue using it. update! I have been using this product close to 2 months now and I am starting to see a difference. here is some background, I have pretty healthy hair to start off already, and am just using this product as a preventive measure in case I start balding and I suggest all you college students start now before it is too late! Do your research on the harmful effects of sulfate to your hair, this is one of the few shampoos out there that does not have sulfate in it! Main difference: I am in ROTC so I am required to buzz my hair pretty often so I am easily able to tell the difference in how my hair grows. before I started using this product, it would take about 3 days before I could feel little bits of hair growing back on my entirely shaved back of my head, after using this product for 2 months, I can feel the hair growing back after 1-2 days, also I would normally have to cut my hair once every 3-4 weeks, after using this product consistently, I grow the same amount of hair in about 2-3 weeks and it is very noticeable how quickly my hair would grow back. As for the actual item itself it smells pine trees like and feels similar to using regular shampoo. overall I absolutely recommend using this product, please for your own sake do not come back to buy this shampoo when it is already to late to save your hair, start as soon as possible so that you do not start using this product in desperation!

Worth every penny!

I tried this shampoo and conditioner while visiting my brother's home. I was shocked to see that my hair actually had a shine again. It felt soft. I'm 69 years old and I thought those days were over. Reading that it will help thicken my hair was a double plus. I used it 3 times while there, and was absolutely amazed. I wish I'd known about this years ago. So I went ahead and bought the set, even though I've NEVER spent this much money on shampoo and conditioner - but this is one product I knew the money was worth it. This is fourth purchase of this product as it has worked so well for me over the past year or so. I have reached the point of ordering them well before they run out so I do not have any breaks in use. Ordering them as a pair "just makes sense" as they work very well together. I no longer use any other type of products for the day which is one of the main reasons I have continued to use this shampoo and conditioner. Before that I was stuck just using a major brand mixture which wasn't helping my hair any. Not that it was hurting it, more of just not providing any improvement. This is not the case with the Pura D'or. The strengthening improvement has become very noticeable along with the smoothness of my hair. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a positive change

YES, it works.

I had beautiful, long strawberry blonde hair up until my thirties. My hair started falling out in handfuls and it was super depressing. Somewhere along the way, I picked up a bottle of the Pura d'or Advanced Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner. It took some time getting used to the change in my hair texture because it's made with natural ingredients, but I noticed my hair quit falling out. Prior to using this product, I had to wash my hair daily or I would end up looking homeless. I'm not sure what this product did to my hair, but now I can go two, sometimes three days without washing my hair. While I will probably never get my lion's mane back, I am quite please with my hair these days. I highly recommend this product to anyone, even if you are not experiencing hair loss because it's just a good product. However, if you are experiencing hair loss and want to avoid the Rogaine route, this will do the trick. Make sure that you purchase the scalp treatment, too. I noticed a big improvement when I used the entire system. Good luck!

What a beneficial find!

Bought this combo package in early January because the shampoo that I used for thinning hair was no longer available -- what a fortunate break! The shampoo and conditioner are actually easier to use than the prior shampoo alone. Also, it is recommended for everyday use which seems to be another benefit for my hair. Started hearing comments from my wife and others within a short time that my hair looked fuller and healthier. I swim three times/week so I mix the shampoo 50/50 with the swimmer's shampoo that I've used with seemingly good results. Adding Pura D'Or increased the shampoo lather greatly. The consistency of both the shampoo and conditioner make the washing experience enjoyable due to the richness and lather. Most days I shower at the gym, so two travel bottles accompany me in my kit. Really feel lucky that I found these products while replacement shopping. In my mid 60s - and now I rarely notice any hair falling out in the sink or shower. Been using now for about seven weeks, so not quite ready to give Fabio a run -- but give me a few more months. . . .

Due to a prescribed medication my hair was falling out in EPIC proportions! I researched for a product that didn't have harsh chemicals and came across PURA D'OR. I've used the regular and Advanced and it WORKS! My hair doesn't have that weird texture that alot of natural soaps leave. Results says several weeks...I noticed a BIG difference in the amount of hair being left behind in 2 weeks. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with thinning hair or anyone just tired of putting harsh chemicals on and into their bodies!
