Best I have owned

I bought these to work on soldering projects, and I must say they are far and away the best set of magnifiers that I have owned. The lenses are clear, the range is excellent and the build quality is high. I use these with my reading glasses on all the time, so regular reading glasses should work. they do flip up, both the lenses, and the lens holder to get completely out of your way. They are not to heavy and the light is plenty bright. Very very pleased I bought them

This has been a lifesaver

I purchased this magnifier for working on micro RC helicopters. I honestly didn't have very high expectations when I purchased it but figured it would get me by until I could get a decent one. I was delightfully surprised when it arrived and have been using it constantly since. The optics on all of the lenses is superb. The led works great and is plenty bright. The unit is a bit on the heavy side so when looking down it tends to slide off a bit so I opted for the included elastic headstrap over the glasses style arms. For the money you can't go wrong.

Ridiculously good value. High quality construction and optics for the price.

For the price, this is a ridiculously good value. As in "buy one now, even if you don't know whether or not you need it." Here's the thing. A basic magnifying glass costs about this much, if you want a decent one with good optics. And everyone knows that a basic magnifying glass is a good thing to have around. Well if a basic magnifying glass is a good thing to have around, this is about 10x better to have around because it's hands-free. And the optics here are: - Excellent, very good quality, very good clarity - Variable, with several magnification levels - Substantial, with a very high quality level Again, the price here is ridiculous. Just buy it to have around, even if it's just to remove splinters from kids fingers. I picked up one, and after I got it and tested it out, I picked up a second, just to file away for down the road if/when the first one wears out. Because this is an amazing deal for the quality involved. Final side note: There are a few different sellers selling this same product at slightly different price points. I happen to have bought from two different sellers. There *is* a difference—the one that I paid a dollar less for didn't come with 3 AA batteries in the box. The one that I paid a dollar more for did. Otherwise, the products are identical.

I give 10 stars for the optical quality! They are crystal clear! The light switch is a little stiff and hard to operate with one hand. The depth of field is amazing compared to the old school ones I have been using, I may just slap myself for not finding these sooner! I will be using mine mainly for soldering. This would be a 20 Start product if the lenses were 25-30% bigger and the LED color temperature was a little warmer-but then again for this price I'm 100% happy!

Very nice for a number of tasks

I originally bought these magnifying glasses for my husband to use in the garage. Well I have actually used them more than he has so far. I think what I like most is that they came with multiple strength lenses. So they do work for myself and my husband. I need a stronger lens than he does. They are very comfortable to wear. They also have a light if you install a battery which is also great. I personally have used them for crafts like sewing and jewelry making. I actually grabbed them a few days ago to read some very very small print on a medicine bottle. They have been a great help. I am very happy with my purchase.

great, can`t live without it.

THis is my 3rd pair to be placed in laundry room, I use one every time it`s hard to see something. whoever decided to make it 3 batteries is unaware of every charged working in pairs, it`s impossible to charge 3 rechargeable batteries. I`m using a dummy battery in place of one and light is bright and last long, when depleted I simply charge two batteries. Would be nice to have even number of batteries in future product. I have another visor with two batteries and it works great.

The best hands-free product for magnification!

I have now purchased 3 of these "magnification glasses" for myself and my friends. They are very comfortable to wear, with multiple adjustment possibilities for the lenses (closer and farther toward the bridge of the nose as well as tilting closer and farther from the face). The light is the right amount of brightness. I like that I can change out the different magnifications for different projects. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to see very small items or print clearly, while having your hands free to work. Five stars!

For the money this is a fantastic deal. The LED lights work much better than I thought they would. The optics are not superb but good enough to, for example, help me do a great job replacing an iPhone 6+ screen. Tiny bit of distortion around the edges, and yet I like them better than my previous Donegan' (which broke hence the replacement). I like that my view is not completely obstructed. The build quality is surprisingly good, but this is clearly not built for industrial or professional applications. The glasses really only worked with the elastic headband because it's important the keep the front piece firmly but comfortably against your forehead. The way the glasses are designed, though, makes them fairly comfortable for wearing several hours with a few breaks in between. I also wound up using the 2.5X over the 3.5 because the magnification was sufficient, and hide a wider and deeper view, which was helpful. I'm very pleasantly surprised and when you consider the price it truly is a no-brainer.

Awesome tool to help reading small print

Awesome! I just got these in and tried them out and I have to say i'm very pleased. They make reading small print a breeze. With the added light it makes it that much clearer to see what you're looking at. Yes, it can be a little on the bulky side, but it's not to the point where it's uncomfortable. I even used them with my glasses (although it took a little adjusting sense it has a nose rest, also my glasses are thin framed so that helps make it possible to use both at the same time) the fit is nice too. not too tight or too loose. With the option to switch out the arms to the elastic headband, makes it even that much nicer. Then you add in that it comes with 5 different lenses to suit your needs. Something that was really nice about these are, you get a wider view then if using a magnifying glass. what i mean by that is, if you're using a magnifying glass to read or look at something, it's only going to show you that one spot, where as these feel like you have a more peripheral vision. Of course it's not total peripheral vision, but you won't be bound to just a small area.

Magnifying lens with headband, fits well and works as expected

This is a practical magnifier set, which includes 5 different lenses (offering different strengths of magnification) with a glass holder that includes an optional wrap around headband for additional stability. There is a lens cleaning cloth included as well as a case to store the lenses in. The lens holder apparatus includes an LED light to illuminate whatever you are examining. If you need to do precision work of any kind this magnifier will be valuable. This fit me well and the lenses are good quality. I would only suggest that there be a carrying or storage case offered for this whole kit, otherwise I am happy with this item.
