For the price, this board is great!!
So, let me start off, by saying this board is great. It comes ready to ride, out of the box, as soon as it ships. Now i've rode quite a few different boards in my experience, ranging from Penny cruisers, to FlexDex longboards. Now, granted, I'm not an old fart, I'm only 19, but I think I have a little experience to make a review. First Impressions : It rides really nice out of the box. I don't normally like buying completes, as I like to mix and match skate parts to make a board to my liking. That being said, this is a nice board regardless. I did have to tighten the hardware bolts, but that's just something little. Riding down the streets of my neighborhood, I got a good feel for this board. It carves very nice, the bushings are of nice quality polyurethane. I did have to tighten the kingpin bolt, as it was a tad bit too loose for my liking. The wheels, let me just say, I was surprised at the quality. Normally, on other boards I've bought on amazon, the wheels have been of lesser quality. But these are something else. First off, they're 70mm. Nothing too special about that, that's a normal size wheel for a longboard. But these are made of actual polyurethane, not the rubbery crap you'll sometimes find on cheaper longboards. They seem to be around an 78a - 80a durometer (which is the hardness of the wheel) which is very nice, not too hard, not too soft. They roll very well, I took my black Labrador Molly for a run around the block, and they performed nicely. Now, onto the bearings. The bearings that came pre-installed, are a brand of ABEC-11 bearings that I'm not familiar with, MAIKA LONG. They're good, but aren't great. Another thing, ABEC-11 isn't even a real bearing rating. Bearing ratings only go up from ABEC-1 to ABEC-9. Luckily, I had picked up a set of Yellow Jacket bearings off amazon for around 15.99. I'm familiar with them, they're awesome bearings for any skateboard. After I had swapped the bearings for my Yellow Jackets, it was a major improvement. I will be keeping the original bearings for backups, just in case. For the trucks, there's nothing special about them, they're generic looking longboard trucks. They're good quality aluminum trucks though, I saw no need to change them out for different ones. On the board itself, it's pretty good quality. I'm more of a fan of bamboo boards, as they're flexible, and good for carving. This board is made of 8ply maple, and good quality from my first impressions. I weigh around 210-220 pounds, and this board held my weight nicely. A little stiff, but with some flex. The graphics on the underside of the deck, are absolutely beautiful. I got the sketch design, which as you can see from my pictures, are just as nice as in the pictures amazon provides. On the topside of the deck, you'll notice that the griptape was cut and applied in a weird way. Griptape on the outermost parts of the deck, and no griptape in the middle. That's for one reason. Longboard dancing. On longer boards, you tend to have more foot space.(naturally) Therefore, people began to do little twirls and dances along the deck, hence the name "longboard dancing". I don't personally do it myself, but I do know a couple friends that do, and they appreciated the attention to the griptape style. My overall impressions of this board, are as follows: It's a great longboard to start out on if you're on a budget. (God knows I've put money into longboarding) . Great quality, gorgeous graphics, and all things considered, a great board. I'll definitely be returning to this company again, because I want to see what their freestyle longboards are like. 10/10, I would recommend this to anyone who needs a decent longboard for a reasonable price. Volador, I am seriously impressed with your product. It's on par with longboards in the $100-$150 price range, I'd say. It's not a professional longboarder's board, but it's a very good representation of what a quality longboard should look like. EDIT(4-13-18) I've gotten many compliments on this board while riding around. My teacher , who goes snowboarding on holidays, and rides his longboard during the summer, even said it looked very high quality. I had asked him to guess how much I paid for it and he said around $200. When I told him the actual price, he did a double take. Also riding around campus, I get many compliments. This board keeps on impressing me. EDIT(5-17-18) The deck of this longboard is amazing!! I would have easily spent over $100 just to get a deck of this quality. I can literally bounce and jump on this deck til it touches the ground. There's no sign at all of it cracking or snapping. I'm extremely impressed with your product Volador. The only two minor things I've noticed in the past month, are that one of the wheels weren't cast correctly, it's slightly off balance. But it doesn't detract at all from the performance. The other thing was I did have to put riser pads on my board, as I did get wheelbite from all the sharp turns I make around town. But, it's easy to get wheelbite on any board. I've even managed to get it on a penny board. Hope my review helped y'all, at the moment, there's only two legitimate reviews of this board, mine and someone else's 🙂

"PRO LONGBOARD for riding flat HONESTLY so fun" - Shadley Joanis
As a advanced longboarder who has many decks and setups, I find this one to be the funnest I've ever rode , I weight 120lb so it's super comfortable for me this board gives me potential to do more , when I saw it out of the box I viewed it as a cheap setup but then when I rode it I was shocked ASF , definitely a good buy for the price better then any drop I'm definitely going to order a few more before the price goes up!!!

Smooth and responsive board!
This board is smoooooth! I had to one-up my twins’ longboards. It wasn’t long before they were riding this board and leaving their boards for me. Best upgrade I’ve had for a while! Photo shows how it compares to other longboards.

I love it, nice quality board
I am a beginner, and an older, heavier guy. I originally got a drop through board, but decided I wanted something symmetrical with kick tails so I could work on some tricks. At $60 the price can't be beat, and the finish, grip, deck, trucks and wheels are simply beautiful! Upon receiving the board I noticed that the trucks actually have alternative screw holes in order to shorten the wheelbase by about an inch. I decided to take advantage of this feature right off the bat since the board is already very long and shortening seemed like a good idea. You will need an allen key and adjustable wrench (and a little patience) to do this. I also tightened the trucks slightly. The stock wheels are 70mm but i eventually swapped them out for the 69mm wheels that were on my drop-through board and I like the difference enough that i am keeping them on there. You will definitely need to look out for wheel bite with the stock 70mm wheels, but the 69mm practically eliminate that problem. The contact area on the wheels also discolor quite a bit, but that's sort of to be expected.

Outstanding Board for the price!
Just received this Volador long board today and am very impressed by it. I've a collection of Sector 9s which are great boards but about three times the price of this Volador; I'll be putting those up for sale now... At 46" in length, it is a bona fide 'long board'. Road it at dusk in a freshly-minted parking lot and had a blast. Smooth, fast, and lots of fun. The flex profile of a board is of most importance to me in a long board; it's crucial to have flex for a smooth, responsive ride. I weigh in at approximately 174 lbs. and this deck has the perfect amount of flex. The trucks look decent and the reverse king-pin is a nice feature. Very much like the wheels which feel medium-soft in terms of hardness, contributing to a smooth ride. At sixty clams with free shipping for Prime members, it's a steal. [I live in Hawai'i and it would cost at least sixty bucks to ship this thing via UPS or Priority Mail]. I recommend this board for anyone under 200 lbs. looking for a quality long board at a great value. Mahalo nui, Volador, for a putting out a terrific board!

Easy learning board that holds up and looks good
Rode boards for a few years when I was a kid then stopped until picking up snowboarding a decade later. Looking for something that lets me stay active and move around town with less of the physical stress and dedication running puts on my body and time. Longboards seemed to fit for me and I was surprised how easily adapted the skillset is from snowboarding. After a couple hours I am able to skate faster than all but the fastest runners on flat or moderate slopes while feeling relatively secure, in control, and safe on the board. Volador board looks good and has so far held up after about 20 hours of use even running over large sidewalk cracks and rough asphalt on my daily commute. I can see I will need new wheels at least twice per season but that is relatively cheap and the rest of the board is holding up well. I might even venture into getting a smaller board and going to the skate park if things keep going this smoothly.

Great board
For starters this board came very fast in the mail. I ordered the other parts at the same time, because I knew the quality of the trucks and wheels wouldn’t be the best ( I read the reviews before mine). They were right. The stock parts on the board aren’t good by any means. After I replaced the parts the board definitely looks better and also rides 10x smoother. I can dance and pick up speed with ease. If you buy this board I highly recommend buying new parts for it. The board is great, but the parts that wear need to be upgraded for sure. I bought “Space Balls” bearings with spacers built in, Orangutang “Fat Free” wheels (65 mm/ 77a), and Grizzly 852 trucks.

Perfect setup for someone looking to start longboarding
Absolutely perfect for a person looking to get into longboarding without breaking the bank. I was able to ride it right out of the box without any adjustments. I took it to me local skate shop and the owner was surprised how well built the board was. I’ve never ridden a board before so I am an absolute beginner. I was expecting to crash a lot during the opening hours of getting my feet wet but so far no falls and the pushing and carving feels so easy. Very smooth ride and perfect level of flex in the board (I’m 5’11” 150 lbs as a reference). The length is great too. I wasn’t sure how such a long board would feel but I would not get anything shorter now. It feels luxurious riding something this long, plus the level of control you have on something this big is top notch. Perhaps in the future once I get more proficient I will get a higher-end longboard but that won’t be for a very long time as this is a wonderful setup. If you are considering getting into longboarding at all, look no further. Overall it is quite an impressive setup and at $59 it’s a no-brainer.

So far so good
I’m 50 and haven’t killed myself yet. Everything is working good enough to get back into long boarding and keep up with my 13 year old. Used it about 4 time totaling about 3 hours. Perfect price point too. Will keep using it as long as it holds up and if I stay into long boarding.
