Works great. My wife is a realtor and had a listing that she was having trouble selling because the previous owner had smoked in the house for 20 years. Potential new buyers complained of the smell. I put the ozone generator in the house and after two days of running it the lingering smoke smell was gone. She got a contract on the house 2 days later.

Used this to kill mildew smell under sink in kitchen. Worked!!! Very reasonable price. Stopped working a few hours after first use but that turned out to just be a fuse (it carries a spare fuse in the socket glad for that bought more fuses). Have used it bathroom to fight nasties like rhino, noro, etc. Very satisfied!! WARNING!! Ozone is very harmful if inhaled. Recommend staying out of room while operating and until 'smell' goes away. Ozone turns into Oxygen after it degrades so should be no lingering harmful gases.

I don't have a great sense of how much ozone this is actually putting ...

I was skeptical that a unit this cheap would work well but upon turning it on I was blasted with the familiar ozone smell. It was almost overwhelming. I've run it in my RV for 2 hours (max time) and the musty odor is completely gone. The only downside is it's fixed the problem so quick I don't really have a use for it anymore. I don't have a great sense of how much ozone this is actually putting out, but I would imagine this would be enough to do a whole house although you might need to run it longer.

Excellent long lasting unit for the price.

Bought a similar $380.00 unit. It died at about 50 hours of use. Returned it. Bought a similar $200.00 unit. It died at about 22 hours of use. Returned it. Bought this one and it has about 150 hours of use on it and it still works perfectly. If it quits, I'll buy another. Ive got it set to run two hours a day with a 24 hour timer. I have it unplugged till the spring now. I highly recommend this, if you want one that works well and won't quit on you.

Clean air baby!

Used it on a few of my really stinky apartments that tenants left behind for me. The timer feature is excellent, and this puppy wastes no time filling the nasty air with the sweet, sweet, death it brings to all that organic matter. Set it, come back a couple hours later and it smells like a hospital. I'll take that over what it smelled like before any day. If for any reason it doesn't hold up well I'll change my views, but so far so good, and at a great price!

Really Impressed!!

I wasn't very confident when I ordered it, there was other units with more reviews but I took a chance because this one had the "Hold" feature.. I had a Possum stuck in my garage, and after I got him out it smelled like a giant hamster cage.. Ran it for 3 hours over night and the next morning the smell was almost completely gone.. It's powerful puts out way more ozone than I thought it would for $80..

So much better than I expected.

Pros - *10x better than the last one I had that I paid twice as much for. *Industrial looking, but not ugly. Feels really solidly built with a sturdy handle for moving it around. *Simple little “twist” timer makes it fool proof. *Package perfectly, came exactly when promised. *Also has an ionizer, which is cool! (I didn’t even notice this when ordering.) *In the package is a little not asking for a call if any tiny thing is not perfect. Then an email a few days later saying the same thing. I usually ignore these things, but for some reason I believed them. I didn’t need to use either of them. I used to leave my other unit running all the time and it helped, but you couldn’t usually tell if it was on or not. This one, I put it in a room by the main air intake for the furnace and only let it run for about 10 minutes before it’s perfectly obvious that the whole house (1200sqft) has been “ionized.” Cons - I really, really wanted to find a con so that I sounded more reliable. But I really can’t find much…Wait! I wish it would have come in an oak cabinet…But Noooooo! :-) If you like this type of product, this is perfect, and way underpriced for the job it does compared to others that I’ve bought. Better Than Expected !

I was not compensated for writing this review, only doing so because this product truly deserves one. After recently purchasing my first home, I was shocked and disappointed to discover the previous owners had masked a pervasive cigarette smell (and had been smoking in the house for about 10 years). In response, I covered all surfaces (no exaggeration) with a sealing primer and top coat paint. After about two weeks the smell had returned about 60%. I was at my wit's end- until I ordered this product which arrived promptly two days later. I literally just removed it from the box, plugged it into the wall, and shifted to "hold". I let it do its thing for exactly 48 hours (after leaving the premises and shutting every window/door). When I came back, and after letting the ozone break down, my entire home smelled completely fresh. I am writing now about a week afterwards, and then smell has been reduced by about 90-95%. Simply amazing considering how hot and humid it is this summer. Confident that after repeating the process 1-3 more times the smell will be entirely eradicated. This product has made my home livable again and I am so grateful.

Have used this extensively to clean a 30 by 30 ft room that had bad odors after Hurricane Irma left so much muck everywhere. Truly saved so much work, gets in places we cannot reach to kill mold and bacteria. Emits a very strong dose of Ozone very quickly, you cannot stay in the room while it runs, and after the timer shuts off, give it another hour to clear out. I'd suggest opening doors for 15 minutes to completely clear ozone out of room.

Read the Warnings!

I ignored the warnings because I thought they were the usual "don't put plastic bg over your head" or "don't use while standing in water". But the warnings need to be heeded in this case. We NOW use this oxygenator for a much lower time and we get out of the house when we use it. It is wonderful! Got rid of our black mold problem! Will be using it maybe once or twice a year just to rid house of possible things that could be lurking: dust mites, spiders, bugs, bacteria, viruses, mold. So I was "today old" when I learned that mold has roots and even if you tear off sheetrock, insulation and bleach the remaining wall, MOLD can grow back and come through new sheetrock, insulation, and tile grout! Really! Carrying moldy sheetrock, etc out through the house while the HVAC system is on can spread mold spores throughout the house and also remain in the ductwork. This can prevent that reoccurrence. Make sure when you leave the house, take your pets with you and put your plants outside! But I am very happy to say it kills all colors of mold! Pink on the bottom of the shower curtain, white on gray grout, black mold on walls and if you read the seller's comment, even MRSA, staph, etc! My 10 yer old great grandson explained to me that it's like what lightening and ocean waves do to the air, making O3 that attaches to plasma of living things. Leaves the air smelling freshly washed! ("But", he continued, "can enter your brain through your nose or mouth and even your ears and kill brain cells!") So, please heed the warnings on how to use this very powerful O3 generator! Excellent product, glad I bought it and have suggested others buy it.Especially Florida residents!
