Made me feel more confident to decorate my own wedding cake

I really wanted a cake spinner after watching one of those viral cake frosting videos. And since I had opted to make my own wedding cake, I thought it would be fine to splurge on a new gadget. The bearings make a lot of noise, but the turn table is very smooth. I didn't do any whirlwind spinning. lol. But even using it to slowly turn the cake as we decorated it was a big help. We even used it to serve the cake.

Why did I wait so long to buy this....

We have been making cakes in our house for many, many years. I have never had a turn table - even though I have been told over and over that it makes things easier for the cake maker. I finally decided to buy one. I went with this one because I trust Wilton and the reviews. I finally got to use this yesterday. It did make things easier! Especially when smoothing the sides of the cake. No stopping to turn the cake board! Also I liked that the cake was higher. It made it seem easier on my arms to have the right height on the cake. I felt like I had the cake done faster than normal. I was able to use my new cake smoother with this table and it worked really well. I am happy with this purchase and wish I had not waited so long to buy it. The box it comes in is slim and easy to pack away.

It makes the perfectionist happy

This was for my wife. She frosted a 6 tier 14 inch monster of a cake easily with this table. It allowed her perfectionist self shine through in about 1/4 the time it usually takes to ice a cake. She also reports that the turntable was instrumental in trimming the cakes sides with her holding a knife still against the vertical edge and turning. Also, it makes cutting and serving the cake a cinch. Wonderful sturdy design and function. Highly recommended.

Serves Its Purpose

Useful and easy to use. I’m using this not only for cake but as a fruit stand as well. 😊 Since I’m not a regular cake eater, I make cake occassionaly only and my cakes are bare minimum and natural. No food coloring. I don’t like too much sugar or butter or creme. So I used just a minimal frosting and no icing here. This is a simple, delicious strawberry “guilt-free” cake. 👍🏼

Makes my life so much easier!

Been getting my hands on layer cakes lately and this is one of the tools that I think is necessary if you want a smooth frosting on your cakes. Makes it so much easier to even out frosting on the cake. I love it so much and I cannot imagine living without it now. I love that the top part comes off so you don't have to wash the whole thing every time and it locks if you wanna use it as a cake stand. Great value for the money!

Love this turntable

Love this turntable. I use it all the time to spread on icing on my cakes, its easier when I can just turn the cake around instead of having to turn around myself around the table or counter. It's also great for displaying my cakes. Wilton never fails to impress me!

... before and wasn't sure if it would be as good as the old style

I had saved this on one of my lists for a long time before buying it only because I haven't used a plastic turntable before and wasn't sure if it would be as good as the old style. This made frosting the wedding cake I was working ones a breeze and the stability was awesome. You can lock it in place for transporting. Very happy with all of my Wilton supplies
