This was super easy and intuitive to set up. I had it up and going about three minutes after taking it out of the box. It enabled me to return my rented modem/router to Comcast, saving me $11 per month.

Easy Easy! You need a laptop with Ethernet to step up. Put your password in, follow a few questions, that takes you to xfinity app to activate, will send you a code to your phone, put it in, and that's it. No call to Xfinity. This modem/gateway is faster than the xfinity supplied modem. I recommend this product to Xfinity customers.

after one week of use. I don't know why too many people left bad review for this modem router. I've received this modem router last week. Configuration was piece of cake it literally took me 2 minutes . And next thing it was up and running. I connected 4 iPhones 2 Androids, 1 PS4, 1 PC, 2 Chromecasts to two of our TV. and I also hard-wired one Comcast stream pix box, 1 CCTV DVR..... My kids watching Netflix my son playing PS4. What I'm trying to say is we making this router working really hard. And we have no issues whatsoever no disconnecting from the internet no rebooting just nothing. I have 100 megabytes plan with Xfinity. I connected my phone to Wi-Fi with the 5 gigahertz. Checked the speed 120 megabytes download 30 megabytes upload. I'm getting more speed than what I'm paying. This is one of the best modem router for the price. I paid $78. I was renting it from Comcast for $10 a month with this modem router I'll get my money back in 8 months. Verdict. Great modem router for very good price buy it and try it. If you don't like it you can always return it , in my case I'm not returning it because I love it.

Very good product! I spent almost $300 on Xfinitys modem which isn't up to par, they're out dated and if you want to upgrade internet then you need to get an upgraded one from them. I also STRONGLY believe that they mess with the connection from time to time to get you to upgrade internet speed because since I have replaced it with this ac1900 I have not had any problems. Sometimes I have to unplug and restart it but the internet ALWAYS comes back on and connects unlike they're product I was renting. So I'm literally saving alot of money! I recommend switching to this if it will work for you, just do your research and double check but don't call Xfinity because they will try to scare you into thinking that only their products work -_- scam

Got this after finally deciding paying the rental fee each month was a rip off. Great buy and price for a student budget. Works better than the Xfinity router I had--used to get spotty service in my bedroom (router was placed in the middle of my small one bedroom apartment) but now I have full speed everywhere in my 3rd story apartment and even carries down to my car. Does take some time to set up but a quick call to Xfinity and navigation made it simple. Disconnected my old router and set this one up with it working in about 30 minutes.

We have Spectrum Cable internet and over 6 devices connected (TV, DVR, PS4, computers and smartphones). Works great with our internet provider and devices.

Love having my own WiFi modem so I don't have to pay fees associated with renting one from the cable company. Has been a seamless switch and haven't had any issues with the performance.

Setup was easy. I had never connected a network. The instructions made it easy. I can't compare it in relation to other router combos, but I can say that I am pleased with this one.

Bought two. One for home and one for business. Switched to Comcast and didn't want to rent equipment. Good deal and works great.

So far, so good. I read the reviews before buying and was nervous, but I have Comcast/Xfinity and generally the reviews from those users were good, so I bought it. I've had it hooked up for over two weeks with no hiccups at all. My Android phone and Fire tablet, Fire TV and Fire Stick all work fine. I'm getting better range and a faster signal than from the rental I got through Comcast. I'm saving $11+ a month now which will repay the cost quickly. As long as you don't have your phone service through Comcast (this device doesn't handle that) you'll likely be very happy with it. Setup was fast and easy. It's been a nearly perfect product for me, at least so far. If you've got Comcast/Xfinity, it's a good device. If any problems develop down the road I'll update this review, but so far, so good.
