The smell is gone...
So... we moved recently, and our new (to us) refrigerator stinks. We used to have a box of Arm and Hammer baking soda in our old refer, that seemed to keep it from smelling, so I went searching for something similar on Amazon (because I'm too lazy to drive to a store...), and found this stuff and bought it. It works great! The stink was sort of a rotting food smell, but we could never find anything that could be causing it. A day or so after putting this in the fridge, the smell was gone and it hasn't returned. I have no idea how long it will last (it's only been a couple of weeks), but so far it works great!

bye bye rotten duck smell
Where do I start? OH yea...the young man who lives in our home decided he would put a bunch of ducks, ready to be cooked, in the freezer of the motorhome and not tell us. The husband decided to unplug the motorhome for a couple of days while we were renovating the area in the yard where the RV goes. Have you ever smelled rotten ducks????? I swear on everything holy, my nose hairs burnt up and my eyebrows were singed from the smell of rotting duck carcass. After cleaning out the freezer with bleach while trying not to vomit, (and keep in mind, I'm a nurse...i've smelled some pretty funky stuff) I walk away feeling pretty confident in my cleaning skills. I leave a box of baking soda in there, just for good measure. One week later I open the freezer to do my weekly inspection of everything that doesn't get used on a daily basis...and sweet baby Jesus!!! The smell coming from the freezer has now permeated the fridge....gag...I clean it with bleach again, making sure to spray the cracks along the back and sides. Walked away a little less confident than the first time but hopeful. 3 days later I open the freezer...you guessed it...gag...so I scroll through amazon researching "freezer stinks" and NonScents Refrigerator Deoderizer pops up....well, lets try that. Goodness...the smell of death has left the freezer!!!! I put my whole head in there and sniffed around to make sure. Then I made the young man child who started all this come take a big sniff too...all good. After 2 weeks of having this in the freezer there is no trace of funky duck left!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Now, I wonder if this stuff would work on the young man childs' shoes?

I had tired everything...
We moved a couple of months back and noticed right away that the fridge in our new house had a bit of an odor to it. We figured a good cleaning would take care of it. After a couple of thorough cleanings in the first month of living in the house, we hadn't gained any ground on the smell. We tried boxes of baking soda, DampRid, and activated charcoal. As a last resort, I spent four hours disassembling the inside of the refrigerator (see pictures) in an attempt to do a deep clean. I removed foam pieces and soaked and scrubbed them in the bathtub. I removed gaskets that seemed to be especially smelly and replaced them with trim intended for sealing exterior doors. I was very frustrated the next day when the fridge odor was obviously still present. I then stumbled upon the NonScents Refrigerator Deodorizer product and thought I'd give it a whirl. I didn't notice any improvement a couple of hours after installing it after work one night. The next morning I thought the fridge smelled better, but also thought that I could be imagining that. Later that night, I was convinced that it was really working. The smell continued to dissipate over a couple of days and was completely undetectable to my wife and I after about 5 days! One review that I had read on this product mentioned a chlorine smell being imparted to nearby food. We have not noticed this at all. Upon opening the package initially, I did notice a bit of a chlorine smell, but that was it. I do not smell anything "chlorine-y" in the fridge. I'd highly recommend this product.

It works !
I have an outdoor bar refrigerator which I usually only use to store beverages. Over Thanksgiving, there was so much food in my kitchen refrigerator, I used the outside fridge for the overflow- one item was an opened bag of riced cauliflower. Needless to say, it was forgotten until Christmas. I opened the fridge and the smell almost knocked me over ! It was awful. I did everything online articles and friends suggested- turned it off, emptied and completely bathed in vinegar- left that for 24 hours. Then I washed down with water with baking soda and left door open for another 24 hours or more. It still smelled awful. I found your product while further searching online- I hoped it was the miracle answer to my problems. I can safely say that after about two weeks, the smell is almost completely gone- I'm a huge fan and highly recommend! Do you make a separate product for closets? Bloodhound approved
I am a supertaster with allergies which means my nose is like a freaking bloodhound's. Odors that no one else can smell or can barely detect basically assault me. My husband eats a zillion fruits and veggies and leftover from his bachelor days is his habit of putting halfway cut up things in the refrigerator unwrapped. Like an onion. Next to the milk. Urgh. This helps but it does take some time to work. Also, random? It also works in the microwave when he nukes veggie sausages or brussel sprouts with no plate or cover (he was raised by raccoons, what can I say?). I can scrub the whole inside of the microwave and it will still have a stench. Stick one of these inside (uncooked of course) and a day or so later the smell is gone until he makes his lunch again. What I do not like is it's pretty big and the suction cups never seem to hold, but how well it works is worth it.

Works great!!!
Some raw chicken "turned" in my fridge. I Cleaned out the whole fridge and freezer, it didn't help at all. (You could smell it when you walked by the closed fridge) I then bought two boxes of baking soda filled five bowls and dispersed them throughout. After a week of this, absolutely no difference. I bought 3 of these and went for broke. I put one in the freezer and two in the fridge. Within 4 four hours I noticed a difference. I put them in on Friday evening, it's now Tuesday and my fridge actually smells fresh, much fresher than before the great chicken incident of 2017. High, high, highly recommend this product.

Desperate Owners of Bad-Lemon-Smell Fridge Turn to NonScents Instead of Throwing Their Whole Fridge Away
We had tried several ways to deodorize our refrigerator after a rotten lemon left a terrible, permeating smell. The odor affected everything stored in the fridge, as well as the ice dispensed from our icemaker, and we had spent literally hours trying to remove the smell: washed shelves, tried vinegar, baking soda, Dawn, coffee grounds, bread slices, etc., etc. We finally tried the NonScents Refrigerator Deodorizer out of desperation, and after a day or so began to notice that the bad lemon odor was diminishing. Over the past couple of weeks the smell seems to have been eliminated completely. If you've had a rotten food catastrophe in your fridge, I would encourage you to try the NonScents product and give it a couple of days to kick in and do its magic.

This stuff works!
OMG this stuff is amazing. We had fish in our fridge for Christmas dinner. It was fresh but boy was there an awful smell it left when we took it out. I put in baking soda, nothing. I bought this and got it Saturday within hours the smell was completely GONE. LOVE IT. 2 month update my refrigerator smells GREAT

This product saved my fridge, my interpersonal relationships, and my appetite.
I ordered this because a roommate of mine left a bunch of bananas in the back of the fridge for multiple weeks- by the time they were found, the damage had already been done and even with the door closed, the fridge was stinking up the entire kitchen. It was absolutely putrid. The ice smelled awful, the butter reeked of farts, and it was just altogether unpleasant to eat or drink anything from home. I put this in moments after it arrived (had it shipped Prime overnight), and let it start doing its thing. The product's description claims it can eliminate odors within hours- something I expected to be only partially true. But, when I checked the fridge after 2 or 3 hours, I was shocked at how completely bearable and un-stinky it was. I'm thoroughly impressed and extremely relieved that we won't have to clean out the drip pan and scrub the entirety of our fridge over a bag of rotten bananas (and my guilty roommate is doubly so). This product saved my fridge, my interpersonal relationships, and my appetite. Thanks

Perfect to cover up dead body smells when the power goes out in your fridge.
I bought a used fridge. It had to be the kind of fridge that looked good on a quick visit, but when I got it to it’s home, I realized that the fridge had to have been owned by Dexter... or some other psychopath. The smell from inside was enough to scare the neighbors away and police started to slow down when they passed the apartment. I even saw a flock of vultures hanging around looking for the dead body. I mean, how could i pass up this great fridge, priced so well... if I had any only known that it had likely housed a dead body... or several dead bodies before I owned it. If I could only buy a time machine on Amazon as well. Well, I tried Baking Soda; didn’t even touch the smell. Neighbors were starting to watch me as I came and went. Luckily a quick Amazon search turned up this jewel. I threw it in the fridge and *boom* problem solved. It took a few days to remedy the smell, and I had to throw the baking soda away (only to have my garbage can smell like a slaughter house from the dead rotting carcass smell it had absorbed). I needed up having to move the NonScents to the freezer to absorb the smell in there too. All I can say is this little jewel had solved my problem and now I am able to store my most delicious foods in that fridge. Highly recommended!
