Arrived quickly and securely packaged. Easy to assemble. All the hardware and seat look and feel to be high quality and I like the rubber coated chain. Put the swing up in the walnut tree in like 15 minutes. Niece is having a lot of fun !!

We were surprised at the durability of this swing. It is made quite well, the coated chains are perfect and comfortable for our 7 year old to hold onto. The seat is NOT flimsy at all! The seat is as strong as any on a playground in fact I think better, and the straps that wrap around the tree branch are also pretty tough! This is the swing worthy of your child's memory.

Quality is a tough call when choosing from a seemingly identical list of outdoor products offered by an on-line store. For something that is to be used outdoors, Touch speaks clearly to us of Quality. So which swing do you choose when you can't touch the options? I made the leap and bought this one. Who knows what algorithm-voodoo made me do it? Now I'm typing this review out, mostly to alleviate your stress in choosing my Fellow Shopper, but also to reward the seller with their due respect for a product well made and fairly priced. We have a tree and a three year old; this product just makes irrefutable sense. The straps took all of two minutes to loop on a sturdy branch (with the help of a tree-climbing fifteen year old) and feel more than strong and secure enough for their task. The seat and chains aren't the industrial grade of the public school playgrounds of my Buy American youth, but I'm confident they'll hold up just fine in the shade of the tree they adorn. No tools, no stress, and twenty five-ish bucks have been well spent. The packaging was even remarkable in it's just-enough-to-get-the-job-done-right-ness. This is one of those products that make us marvel at this global candy store of ours. Buy it, hang it with love, watch the kids swing beneath your tree, and feel right in the world.

Great tree swing. Appears to be very strong and the straps that come with it make for easy set up. Rubber coated chain to prevent burns and pinches, reinforced grommets on the seat. May buy a second one soon so the kids don’t have to wait a turn!

Replaced the straps for something sturdier before installing, but otherwise perfect.

We really like this product - the seat and the rubberized chain links are comfortable and are holding up very well so far. We installed the swing on a large branch that is at an angle, so one side of the chain holding the swing must be longer than the other. Because of the angle and thickness of the branch, we decided to buy wider and longer straps made by Rhino StrapMate to hold the swing in place - I'm sure the ones included in the set would have been fine for a smaller branch that is relatively level to the ground. Very easy to install, adjust, and take down - only "tool" you'll need is a ladder. Please note that only the lower half of the chain has the yellow, rubberized coating, which is fine and necessary as it lets the chain swing and rotate a little as needed.

Very good quality

Swings are made from what seems to be a hard rubber which should stand up to abuse for a long time. I originally thought they were going to be close to a park swing with completely rubber flexible seat but this is not the case. It should be fine though. Do your math when you measure these out if hanging swings next to each other. The seats chains ideally should be hung 19 inches apart and with at least 16 inches between other swings.

Great buy!

When we purchased our house, it came with a swing set with a slide, which was great since at the time our son was 1 and loved the idea of him having a backyard playset. As he grew up and was able to use the swings without a baby converter, he wasn't able to stabilize himself because the swings were narrow, albeit durable, plastic. Plus the plastic covering on the chain became extremely sun damaged and started to break. I bought this mainly for the coated chain, which is as durable as it's pictured. The big bonus is that is that it provides a much bigger seat and my son, now 3, can now swing without slipping off. The straps make it super easy to attach to any swing set!

6MONTH UPDATE...,.Cool cool!

Update...just want to let others know not to use just anything to hang the swing. The metal used in the chains is soft. I didn't think about it wearing down so thin! I bought this swing christmas eve, its now May 20, so fair warning. Use the correct hardware. .....Wowzers! Now THIS is a swing! I had to replace my sons "favorite" swing..actually its more of his preferred side of the swingset lol unfortunately the swing that came with the dang swingset broke while he was swinging 2 times! I am still heated about that. Then i found this awesome swing! It arrived super-mega-ultra strong in comparison to the one from our swingset. This has the nylon straps. the extra long chain. The chain in itself is double the thickness as the one we had. Super safe. I thank you so much. I am at ease with his swinging all day now. Oh yes so our swingset is just a metal set. At first my sons dad tried hanging the swing from the straps lol but no way. To low to the ground! even with it at the yellow part of the chain. So I took down our broken junk swing and cut off the ends attached to the hardware so i could just clip and secure this swing onto the hardware (bolts holding swings to swingset) easy enough for me. Perfect. I'll add a photo soon.
