I cut out a little piece of post it and taped it on my kindle. I saw this and decided to try it. It comes with a variety of sizes and the one I used fit perfect on my kindle cameral. I like it because it's black (versus the yellow post it color) so it's not noticeable and it is thin. It seems to stay on so far. Works as intended so far.

I have worked as a computer tech for over a decade. I've been seeing more attacks focus on exploiting the camera on laptops and even on android devices (phones & tablets). I realized I needed this product after I cleaned a tech support scam infection on a family members computer, only to find the malware they installed had an exploit that allowed the camera to be accessed covertly. It was difficult to remove, with many entries spread throughout the registry, task scheduler, and various startup entries. After removing it I realized how easy it is for cameras to be exploited for various nefarious activities, from revenge porn, to thieves, to blackmail/extortion - just imagine every time you see a camera, that a truly deranged perverted criminal is sitting on the other end watching through it. You need a product like this to protect you. The FBI recommends covering your camera, and even Zuckerburg covers his camera. Electrical tape doesn't cut it, it gets dirty, leaves a residue, and looks hacky. These are virtually invisible, easy to remove and reapply, and come in a variety of sizes to protect any device. A few cents a piece is a small price to pay for safety and peace of mind, especially if you have a family. I highly recommend this product.

Great way to avoid people looking in on you

This is a great and simple product for those who wish to protect themselves from prying eyes. The package contains exactly was is shown in the images displayed on the product page and is as simple a placing a regular sticker. Depending on the device that you have have these shields will pretty much blend in with the background where your webcam may be found. If you are using these privacy covers for your laptops, they will never interfere with the closing of your laptop. Now when you are using these covers for a cellphone, you might confront some issues depending on the screen protector you may have on your device. The inclusion of cleaning wipes was a great plus, but if you where to run out you could always use cloths that would be used for cleaning reading glasses in order to wipe off the surface where the webcam is found. T For the price and the amount of privacy covers included, you could pretty much take care of all the devices you own and still have some left for future devices you may be purchasing in the future. I definitely recommend this product.

Solid black and they stick tightly

I was recommended a different brand, but even from the product pictures I could tell there was a white ring around the other brand’s covers. As soon as I saw this one saying there is no white edge around it, I bought it. I was not disappointed. These use an entirely black material, even the bottom is black on the inside. There is nothing to show through or scrape off, color wise, because the material itself is black. Perfect! I have also had trouble with other brands falling off or slipping out of place, but these are very strong and I am very impressed. I’ll definitely be buying some extras just to have.

This is literally exactly what I've been wanting lol I'm glad I decided to search on amazon to see if anything like this existed. The shipping was fast and the sticker works wonderfully! It's very discrete, and you can't really tell it's there unless you try and look for it lol(You can see it well in the picture because I'm shining a light on it) Even then, its design makes it look nice. I definitely recommend these!😁

These covers are Great!

I have used other webcam covers. These are the best that I have used to date. They are flexible and hold really well. I like that they do not have a paper backing.The size variety is also a plus. The other stickers that I bought had different sizes but not enough small or extra large ones. I like the sizing of these. Also they block out the light on the screen completely. Several of the other brands I have used in the past diffused the image but did not block it completely. I am very happy with these shields, They are versatile and work well.

These stickers fit the bill!

Only recently, I had begun covering up the front-facing camera on my Smartphone; I did this by cutting up colored 3M tabs and affixing them to the camera on the face of the phone; but because the 3M tabs were not made for that, they fell off fairly quickly (they didn't last when the camera was constantly going into and out of a pocket or in my purse). The tiniest sticker of these MyCamShield stickers works very well and looks great on my phone; I used one of the large stickers to cover the front-facing camera on my iPad and it looks great there, too! I know that at some point I'll need to remove the sticker for a selfie or to Facetime--so I'll be curious to see how the "stickum" will hold when it is reapplied after being taken off for a short while. If it doesn't reapply well, there are certainly enough stickers in the pack to use! These stickers are perfect--they look great and do what I need them to do!

Receiving a Bitcoin blackmail threat from someone claiming to have hacked into your camera is very scary, even far after realizing the threat is a scam and even if you know they couldn’t have taken any compromising pictures or videos. The threat alone made me very uncomfortable. So I said enough of that and after looking around bought these which are pretty much ‘invisible’ unless you look closely and easily removable if you want to FaceTime or use your camera. My daughters employer requires any laptops, phones etc with a camera have some type of camera cover to prevent these issue. I like these easy on easy off stickers better than a sliding type cover.

No more ugly post-its and tape! Looking professional!

Love them! I FINALLY got rid of the old post-it note I had over my laptop camera. These little shields have a matte finish so it blends in perfectly with my black laptop. Plus, there were plenty of shields to share with coworkers. Now the whole office can stop looking paranoid when meeting with clients. :-)

Sleek and effective

Pros: -Super-sleek design. -High-quality material. -The triangular shape is extremely valuable in use with my Surface Pro, as it allows for my camera to be covered, yet not interfere with my privacy screen. -Various sizes to fit mobile phone up to a desktop computer. Cons: (For lack of a better word) -The smallest CamShield is a bit tricky to remove without sticking a corner to itself. The positive of this is that the adhesive is phenomenal. If I had plastic tweezers, I would remove that way. Overall it is ABSOLUTELY worth the price and the quality is top shelf!
