Excellent cooling for non-perforated leather seats

I had this cooling cushion and 3 others in my Amazon cart for months, periodically checking on newer reviews from people as they made their purchases, and then I read the product reviews. It wasn't until this newest Snailax design was released and reviewed that I gave this one serious consideration for purchase. As hot and humid weather began in the mid-Atlantic, my leather seats started causing my back to sweat and leave visibly noticeable perspiration and wet marks - I knew it was time to buy this. Anyhow, the seats shown in the picture are inside the BMW 3 and X4 series, which has heated seats, w/o cooling. I think the look and size is ok, and the critical areas are large enough for various body sizes. I only occupy about 80 percent of the cushion and you can really feel the circulation in the butt and back areas. This is a pro over the other seat cooler cushions. I also included a picture of the fan and with the BMW seats, the fan rests on top of the pull handle for the front seat section, so like some other people mentioned...if you have this seat design you will have to sit / drive with your legs open. As a male this does not bother me and is natural. Ladies give this some serious thought though, but I still think this design is more effective for cooling and more comfortable vice the fan being mounted in the actual butt area. I haven't and likely won't use the heat function, again...since my seats have OEM heating function. Like others said, the max fan speed is very audible. I use this for the first 10 minutes, then turn it down to setting 3. So I can still feel it, but barely hear it. No more sweaty and stained back in the summer. Buy it, you'll enjoy it.

The car seat came with well package. I tried it on both chair at home and seats in the car. It's especially useful and needed for the hot summar like now in the car. The seat is soft but not too soft to become saggy. I drive long distance to work. This one help me cool down faster than the AC and massage my back while driving. It would be a bit noisy when the cooling fan is turned on when it's used at home but perfectly while driving. I would recommend it to whom do a lot of driving in summer.

Superior Customer Service.

These use ambient air in the car for cooling. So they really only cool your seat if you have the a/c on. They have heaters in them so that is not a concern, and they heat very well. They are most effective on larger bucket seats. My wife tried to use them in her Mini Cooper and her seats are too narrow, they made her seats a bit uncomfortable because of all the materials in the seat portion of the cushion. So, I put them in my Santa Fe (much wider seats) and they work great. They will make you sit about an inch taller, so if you're already "head on the ceiling" you might want to think about that. The best part about these is the customer service. We had a problem with one of them not working and accidentally waited past the 90 day return policy through Amazon (busy xmas season). We were able to contact Snailax and they sent us a free unit with no questions asked. THAT is great business policy

Best I have found

I gave it a five star relative to the other seats out there. Pros: Easy to install or remove but also stays in place. Comfortable (I like sitting on it better then the car seat even with no temp controls). The heat is ok and the cool is great. Quiet. auto turn off after 30 minutes. Cons: Takes a little time to warm up. Only has two heat levels. I'd like it a little warmer but it really does pretty good. I've had other brands. Some don't have an auto shut off and I have killed several batteries. Some are not very comfortable. Some just don't heat much. Some don't last. (I've only had this one for a few weeks so can't say if it lasts)

Great product for the Northeast winter

Followed the instructions and the seat coushion fits well on my wife's car. This thing gets warm fast! I measured the time from I plugged in the power and turned on the heating, ~1 minute the cushion started to turn warm and ~3 minute I can feel the heat. That is well beyond my expectation.

It just feels good, man! Nothing can be wrong if it feels good

It got my attention because of its price, pictures and good reviews. I bought it about one month ago, and today I had nothing else to do in the evening, thus decided to come and write a review, and try to amuse myself and future customers. The picture doesn't depicts all the cool feeling that I have felt and touched with my butt. It provides fast ventilation in the cooling mode and great comfort for driving, especially long distance. The Mesh design was well thought such that the seat can have enough ventilation without the stickiness. I haven't tried the heating function because it is dog days of summer now:) Shipping was fast too.

Excellent Products and Service!

These seat heater/coolers are awesome. They are built well and even without turning them on they make a big difference because of the "weave" of the fabric. I live in Michigan and the vinyl seats in my truck are brutal. This heats up hot! The fan also really blows air and I look forward to that in the hot humid summers we have. The design is nice in that it has a strap to go around the head rest AND it has elastic loops that you attach a plastic anchor to and slide between the seat bottom and back. It really holds the cushion in place. I had a question and their customer service is excellent! They sell so many different products. I have a massager too and I'm old and creaky. It really feels good on my back! ~Andy

This is much better than I expected and is very comfortable. I used this in my car seat to cool my body. I had an old cushion with similar cooling function but it was broken. Besides, the old one was too cold to sit on in the winter. You know what it means in Minnesota!!! This new cushion perfectly solve the issue because it offers heating as well in the winter. Noted that it will add height if you use it , so please consider the height difference and adjust your seat accordingly!

A very nice air seat.

I previously bought one cooling seat cushion with the other brand but I had bad experience. It was okay but became blocked when you sit on so I have to return. For this new one, The built in force air is way too perfect. It does not have blocking issue at all when I sat on. Strong wind stream keeps me dry and cool all the way. Luxury fabric mesh material fit my new leather car seat well. All in All awesome product with great price.

Great product for relaxation

Just brought this cool/heat cushion for BBQ party. Placed on the camp chair and enjoyed an absolutely relaxation experience.
