Light, yet extremely tough.

This LTGEM Travel case is everything I hoped it would be. I use it to carry my AKAI mini play and it was a must to protect the device in transit. The LTGEN travel case it thin, lightweight, yet extremely tough. Great quality construction. It is a perfect compliment to my AKAI mini play.

Great and well made case. There is also NO strong chemical odor! A problem plaguing similar cases by other manufacturers.

Very good case for the Akai MPK Mini. It is not super rigid so I would not recommend putting this in airplane luggage on it's own. But due to it's form factor it fits really nicely into a bigger suitcase. The padding is quite nice and the case seems to be very well put together. Something I've seen posted about other cases for the Akai MPK Mini is that they have this strong chemical odor that most likely comes from the cheap materials they have been made of. This is not the case for this LTGEM case. Right out of the box it is close to odorless. This was a huge relief to me since I was worried that it might have the same problem reported in reviews for other cases that are in the same price range. I don't know how they managed to offer a product made of better materials at the same price point as the other cheaply made ones, but kudos to LTGEM. Overall great case and I would highly recommend!

Solid protection

I do think it's a little much for a midi controller but better safe than sorry. The case keeps my MPK mini safe and it keeps dust off so if you have a MPK mini you're thinking about buying one get this case to go with it

This case is lightweight but strong enough to offer excellent protection for your Akai controller. Very well made and cool looking too!

Highly functional at a great price

This traveling hard case offers complete protection of the AKAI MPK keyboards. The foam on the top protects the keys and topside of the keyboard while a soft fabric protects the bottom and sides from scratches. The case fits snugly around the keyboard with room at the top for the USB cable. The case is secured with two zippers with no apparent flaws. A handle on the top allows the case to be carried comfortably like a briefcase. I have been using this case for about a month and a half now, and it has done a wonderful job protecting my precious beat-making device. Over a month and a half of commuting to and from school inside my backpack have made no visible damage to the case or the keyboard. Overall, a great product at a good price.

Great hardshell case

Perfect hardshell case for my akai mpk mini. The case has a layer of protective foam on the top to protect all your buttons and knobs, and just enough space to fit the USB cable and keyboard. The case easily fits in my backpack, so I can take my midi keyboard in the road with me.

Perfect fit

Love it. I was so weary about purchasing this product due to all the negative 'smell' reviews. Mine does not smell whatsoever. Would definitely recommend. Good case for the Akai!

I like that this is a semi hard shell case which fits perfectly in my suitcase or my backpack. I'm confident that the my MKII is protected. I do wish it had an internal pocket to hold my portable sustain pedal but overall this one does the job.
