Not only is this a superior pizza stone to others I have owned in the past but their customer service and feedback makes them the clear winner in a crowded field. To top it off, I especially like the back stop on the Stone.

We have a pizza night tradition in our house, so we use this at least once a week. The stone works for all types of pizza, including homemade, frozen, and take-and-bake varieties. It even works for french bread and rolls. I love that it has a lip on the back so I don't accidentally push the pizza to the back of the oven. Also, the pizza peel is a game changer...no more trying to maneuver pizza out of the oven with spatulas and wooden utensils. The rocker knife is super sharp, so watch out and don't throw away the guard. Some other reviewers mentioned a strong odor, but we didn't have any trouble with that. It smelled "new" for the first few times we used it, but that went away.

This is the best oven stone I’ve ever used. It’s large and thick with a backstop to prevent accidentally pushing stuff off of the back. A good oven stone will hold your oven temperature steady. The caveat is that the oven should be preheated at least 15 more minutes beyond the point that the oven’s preheat cycle is completed. You can bake directly on the stone or just have it in your oven as a heat stabilizer mine lives in the oven and gets cleaned during the oven self cleaning cycle. For a pizza party I have a stack of par-baked crusts that I make ahead and freeze. Each one is separated with parchment paper in the freezer. I use this paper to bake the pizzas on the stone (preheat oven and stone to 550F). It’ll bake 2 or more personal pizzas to perfection in 8 minutes each. You can open the oven to add or take out individual pizzas as your guests complete their masterpieces. The parchment paper keeps particularly sloppy creations from burning on your stone. No problem with the oven losing it’s heat from opening since the stone is such a good heat sink. I’m a fan.

This stone is great! Our pizzas on our new Traeger smoker were amazing. Love the fact this has the bumper in the back so there is no chance of loosing pizza over the edge. Holds heat a long time. Great crisp crust. Also bought the pizza peel from this company and recommend getting the set.

This stone has been great. I've had it for a while before writing this review to be sure it's as good as I think it is. As a pizza novice, I've been reading Jim Lahey's book "My Pizza" and the cooking method has you preheat to 500 for half an hour then switch to broil for 10 minutes to get maximum heat before you place the pizza. My old pizza stone cracked (a thin stone) as soon as I put the pizza on it. So, on closer reading of Jim's book (or maybe the reader comments) I learned he used a professional or commercial grade stone. I ordered this one and it works great. The raised edge at the back is very helpful.

I made crusty bread on my new pizza stone for the first time and it was perfect. The stone is the absolute right size for my oven and is easy to insert and remove when needed. I dropped some oil onto the stone by accident and i think it might be a permanent stain. Be careful about that. Looking forward to more great breads and pizzas.

Perfect size for oven or grill to make multiple types of pizzas, breads, and sandwiches... I have used this for pizza of course, but also homemade naan bread, rolls, and even pressed sandwiches (Cubans and Reubens in particular). I have also used it on my grill for making pizza too and it works great and didn't get any discoloration from the grill. The top does take a little coloration from use, but if you give it a good wipe and keep it clean it doesn't effect the effectiveness of the stone. Also this thing it THICK! Just under an inch at the thickest part. My most favorite key feature of this stone is the rear lip, when you use a peel it really makes it easier to lift the food off the stone and I would say this is the main reason I bought this stone, as well as the size. I have had pizza toppings go over the edge of my old stone... not anymore! The stone comes well packed and the box is a keeper box to store and protect the stone... Or you can leave it in the oven done that too... Overall an outstanding product and well worth the money if you are looking for a stone to last.

This is a very substantial pizza stone. Not thin like others iIve Had. The back raised lip is a nice touch to keep pizza and other food from sliding off when using a blade or spatula. Once it’s preheated no need for any direct heat from below when using a grill. It really holds temp because of its mass. It’s large so handles good sized pizza.
