I love this frame so much...

I ordered this for a picture I've been wanting to frame. Here's the crazy thing. I loved the photo of the Golden Gate Bridge that came with the frame so much, I hung it up with that photo instead. I guess this means I'll be ordering another frame for my photo, but the Golden Gate Bridge looks classy hanging on my wall. Good frame, too. Very well made. Very sturdy.

This frame is exactly what I wanted. It's simple and chic and really goes well with the 11x14 artwork I put in it. Easy to open and close. The glass is secure inside the frame, and there isn't much of a glare from it, but I guess that depends on where you place it relative to the lights in the room. Also comes with a mat, which wasn't of any use to me, but it's still nice to have in case I ever want to change out the picture and put it to use. It was also packed securely and arrived safely.

This frame is absolutely beautiful!! I bought it to have an extra of the 11x14 to add to the package of 7 I bought of this same frame! They are super sleek durable and a great product, especially for the price! Can't beat!!!

Good for the price

This was good for the price. I use sticky things to put it up on my wall and the adhesive was too weak after a week. Not the frames fault, it's light weight. The adhesive I used was poor quality. Well the frame fell and did not chip or break, so good buy.

Simple Frame that does not Distract

This is my 2nd Frametory, 11x14 Black Picture Frames. I accidentally bumped the first one and it fell off the wall and broke. It broke! So why did I buy a 2nd one?! The frame fell from about 7 feet and yes, the wood split at two of the corners, but the glass did not break and the picture inside was not damaged. In a way the frame took all of the energy from the impact, sacrificing itself but saving the picture. I do not have carpet, I have hardwood floors so I was impressed that the glass did not even chip and I was very relieved that the picture was not damaged as it was a gift from an old friend and not replaceable. Amazon has a section here asking about the craftsmanship and giftability of this frame. For craftsmanship I would say it is average for a mass produced picture frame. Four pieces of wood/wood-composite moulding, regular matboard, pressboard/chipboard backing board, and the glass. It does not have a hand crafted look to it but I wasn't expecting one for the price. It doesn't look or feel cheap. It has a hefty feel to it, I believe mostly from the weight of the glass. I like a simple black frame that does not take away from the work it is framing. This is exactly that. As for giftability, maybe, but not as just a frame. As a frame to display a photo or painting or other artwork you are giving as a gift, yes, I would recommend this frame for that type of gift. In the end, I have bought two of these Frametory, 11x14 Black Picture Frames and multiple purchases of the same item is the best recommendation I can give.
