Yessss. This sling is comfortable, convenient and the color is pretty too! The fabric is so soft and the little pocket is cute too. My newborn is in it right now as I write this review. I will buy another one in a different color!

Care for their customers

Before purchasing this sling I researched it well, found great reviews and confirmed that Pura Vida complies with the CPSIA and ASTM standards. The fabric has been tested for strength and also for low flammability and the unwelded rings have been tested to be lead free and have been weight tested as well. Pura Vida has a Children’s Product Certificate showing their compliance that has been approved by the CPSC. Safety is very important to me and I was satisfied with Pura Vidas compliance with all standards. My baby and I love the slings comfort and support. The fabric is so soft and smooth without even wearing to break it in. The fabric is breathable and is perfect for hot days (may baby runs warm always sweating). The versatile fabric is also perfect for cold weather, by baby keeps warm with the fabric and my body temperature. I purchased this sling when my baby was 2 months old, she is now 4 months. Since purchasing the sling I used it just about everyday. This was the perfect solution for bonding using skin to skin contact in her early newborn stage and loved how silky the fabric would lay on her supple newborn skin. I would twist the tail end for that extra support on her newborn neck. Even now she falls straight to sleep when I'm baby wearing. I just fell in love with this sling. Everywhere I would go people would comment on how stylish and beautiful the sling was. I just had to rave about it to family and even complete strangers. Most importantly I'd like to share a story on a more personal level, a few weeks ago my car was vandalized.On 4/2/2018 I took my son to his music lesson in Chino California and my car was vandalized. My passenger side door window was shattered to pieces and my diaper bag and sons toddler bag was stolen. Inside my diaper bag was my beloved Pura Vida Ring Sling. My wallet was stolen as well because it was inside of my ring sling so I spent hours at the DMV getting a new license the following day and canceling all my credit cards and debit cards I wasn’t concerned about that because the Credit Card companies replace the cards and refund the money. The criminals charged over $2,300.00. Between my sons toddler bag and my diaper bag I lost about $1,000.00 in toddler and baby items as well as my personal items.This was the worst invasion of privacy of ever. I really couldn't afford to purchase a new ring sling and was hoping Pura Vida would be able to offer some type a coupon or discount to buy another sling.With the loss I had taken and having to replenish everything that was already in my diaper bag and toddler bag it was a big burden. Including having to buy a new drivers license and paying the deductible for my car insurance to fix my car window. I was really hurt and sad that my sling was stolen, My most prized possessions I loved so much. I sent Pura Vida an email sharing my story in hopes of a coupon. To my surprise the owner of Pura Vida Ring Sling, Anne Ferris emailed me back herself. She offered to send me a new sling free of charge in hopes to help a fellow mommy out and put a smile on my face. As I read her email it brough tears to my eyes,I could not believe it. Life changing

I absolutely enjoy using this ring sling. It’s soft and durable. I get compliments all the time and I love sharing about how much I love it in hopes it will help someone else. When out and about it makes it so much easier to handle both my 4 mos old and 2yr old at the same time. My baby loves this sling, no more fussy baby, she falls asleep on her own. My baby is 15 lbs and the weight is distributed in a comfortable way across my back. One thing people ask me is if it’s secure...yes most definitely secure. Sizing, I wear a 38 D bra and a large in shirts and still have plenty of material to work with. Anne has YouTube videos that are so helpful. I’m so happy I stumbled into this item on amazon. Just wish I would’ve waited a week to get my hands on the new gray color. The warm sand is much darker in person than in the pictures. I do really still like this color, as brown looking as it is, it’s amazing when the light hits it just right it has warm pink almost purple hues. Maybe it’s my eyes but I can see why it’s “warm” sand. I love it.

Quality sling and great customer service

This ring sling fully met my expectations. I am an avid baby-wearer. I have a 4 month old. I started out with the Boba wrap, but it got painful after 2 months. I decided to get a soft structured carrier after that (I have a Beco and a Lillebaby). However, while they are very comfortable, and great for shopping trips, I felt like they didn't have that conformed, snug feeling for her. She would get fussy in them after a half hour or so. I have been looking at ring slings forever, researching whether I should take the plunge or not. Originally, I wanted to go with a Sakura Bloom because of the natural, breathable fabric. I found myself searching on Amazon and decided to go with Pura Vida slings because the fabric seemed to be what I was searching for, but at a better price point. I am glad I picked this one up. They have a YouTube channel on how to thread and wear your ring sling. A few videos, and you will be a pro! My daughter LOVES the ring sling the most out of all our carriers. Additionally, they have great customer service. They are a small company who does not outsource. I liked this ring sling so much that I also picked one up for my sister who is due to have a baby. I hope this helped somebody, and happy baby-wearing!!

The only way to babywear!!!

Love love love this ring sling! I only wore my middle child for a short while so I was determined to babywear my 3rd for much longer, especially since now I have a big kid and a toddler to keep up with as well. I’ve had my eye on this sling for a while but kept trying to talk myself out of it because of finances and make my moby wrap or baby bjorn work for us. I finally wised up and bought it — I feel like a wasted 3 months in not buying it sooner!! This sling is 100% worth the investment. The fabric is beautiful and lightweight which I appreciate so much in the Arizona heat. It’s so helpful having the tutorials on YouTube to get the sling adjusted properly and the customer service could not have been better! Anne took the time to chat with me a bit about positioning and is so sweet and personable! I will be buying this sling for or referring to all my mama friends from now on! Colicky baby? THIS WILL SAVE YOU!

I absolutely love this sling and I wear it daily. I tried the moby and another just like that one and didn’t like it. This sling is so comfortable and pretty, I get compliments on it all the time! My baby has used it since she was about two months old. She’s four months old and still loves it so much. She was pretty colicky and could/can always be calmed when I wear her in this sling. I’m able to do work around the house, eat, socialize etc. and she just sleeps like a log or stares out at the works happily :) I am going to purchase another color because I use it so much it tends to get dirty, however I just pop it in the washer and let it hang dry. Why haven’t you bought this yet?!

Excellent quality; Love it 💞

Love this ring sling. The only complaint I have is that the box was torn up when I received it, but the sling was in a bag with the directions so it was fine. I would not take a star away for that though. I hate when people leave bad reviews for the actual product because they couldn't figure it out or it didn't work out for them, if you like ring slings you'll love this one. If you are looking for a new or quick way to wear your baby a ring sling is an excellent choice (especially if you have a baby who loves to sit on your hip and watch while you do things around the house)... Built in nursing cover too with the extra fabric thats pulled through. I'm waiting until their other colors are back in stock so I can order those too.

Beautiful and functional

I have been using this for 2 months now with baby #3 and continue to love it! I get so many compliments about how beautiful it is, but my favorite thing is how easy it is to use. Once you thread it initially it’s simply a matter of tightening and loosening to get baby in and out. It does put more pressure on one shoulder, which can be tiring if you’re wearing baby for extended periods of time, but this has been great for trips to the grocery store, church, and around the house to get baby sleeping. :) I don’t know how this compares to other ring slings, but I have four other types of carriers (2 wrap style, 1 soft structured, and one combination wrap/soft structure) and this is definitely my favorite for the newborn stage. Once he’s bigger I imagine we’ll use the soft-structured carrier, but right now this is just the ticket! I am still getting the hang of nursing in the carrier (with mixed results depending how hungry my son is) but I do like that this sling doubles as a cover or burp cloth in a pinch. And the pocket is a great spot to stash a burp cloth and my phone.

So happy I found these beautiful slings! I have owned a sling in the past with my first child, but the sling I had then had a wooden ring, which made adjusting the material difficult, since it wasn't slick, and the material was not soft at all. I knew I wanted a ring sling this second time around, because I needed something that I could nurse my newborn in. The baby carrier I also have isn't for use until your child reaches 4 months old or more, and that simply wasn't going to work, since I need to be hands-free as early as possible, especially with a toddler now! Not to mention, babywearing promotes a feeling of comfort and safety in newborns that is so valuable, as I'm sure anyone reading this is well aware of. I currently live in Florida, so I knew I wanted a sling that was breathable and wasn't going to make me super hot. I did some research and found that linen is a really breathable material, in addition to being incredibly strong and long-lasting, and there are actually some companies that make all linen slings, but the problem with linen is that it is so stiff and not very soft to the touch. Then, my chance, I happened to magically find Pura Vida slings here on Amazon and was so thankful I did! Pura Vida combines linen with bamboo, and bamboo is SO incredibly soft (my favorite material for baby clothing actually because of this fact), eco-friendly, and resist wrinkling better than cotton. After reading all these fabulous reviews for the Pura Vida slings, I knew this was the one for me! After ordering, my sling arrived right away, and I tested it out on my 2.5-year-old son. He actually really loved being held in the sling and wanted me to carry him around for awhile! Threading the sling was simple and made all the easier with the video tutorial on YouTube that the owner so nicely made. Her video tutorials are super helpful in getting you comfortable with how to babywear properly with slings! She also is so very kind and easy to talk to! After sharing a photo of my new sling on Instagram, she reached out and thanked me for my purchase and made herself available if I had ant questions! Talk about wonderful customer service! Something else I enjoyed about the black sling I got is that it is suitable for both moms and dads to wear, and it goes well with both casual or formal clothing. I can't say enough about how great this sling and company are! Thank you for making these!

This is THE ring sling. You NEED it.

I've been a babywearing mama for just under 5 years. I've worn all 3 of my babies in all different types of carriers. I could never make the ring sling work, but I was determined to with this last baby. I originally tried a 100% linen sling and it was scratchy and hard to adjust. I came across the Pura Vida sling while I was doing some late night nursing and Prime shopping (we've all been there, no?) and figured if it didn't work out I could always return it. I had been wearing my baby in a Tula FTG but I wanted something more comfortable so that I could sit down without having to put my baby down. Let me tell you... This ring sling right here? This is it. I opened the box and it was blanket soft straight away. It is a dream to adjust. No bunching fabric in the rings, no tugging to tighten. It just glides. The bamboo blend of the fabric is noticeably softer and cooler than any other sling I've tried. I ordered the green and it's absolutely gorgeous, even my husband liked it. Their customer service is absolutely amazing as well. I messaged their Facebook page and got a response from the owner, Anne right away. We even had a conversation about our daughters. How rare to find a person and have a pleasant conversation rather than a generic message from a company. While I was waiting for my sling to arrive I browsed their Facebook page and found that Anne also has a parenting page and has shared tutorial videos, tips and personal photos of her family. She was very open with her story and her company's back story. By the time my sling arrived I felt like I knew her personally :) I can't recommend the sling or Anne's company enough. They truly deserve your business if you're in the market for a sling. Update: My baby girl is now 7 months old and we love our sling even more now that we can do a hip carry! It goes everywhere with us. I bought the lilac cloud color last month and it is the perfect color. As an added bonus, the pocket is perfect for stuffing your older kids' Chuck E Cheese tickets when you're killing it as a mom of 3 in hands free mode ;)
