Best purchase ever!

I finally purchased these skillets for our new home. When I was very little I remember my Mom used her cast iron skillet everyday. My younger sister is still using Mom's skillet. I always wanted to have a set but kept putting it off. Our youngest daughter is using her own set of cast iron skillets and now I will be able to use them too. They are very easy to take care of and clean up easily.

These cast iron skillets are the best on the market. They have terrific information on their website for care and maintenance of the cookware. I also ordered an outdoor grill made entirely of cast-iron which I had never seen before. Only paid $85 and I am sure I will be using for years to come. Not like those cheap stainless ones that fall apart in two or three years. Thanks Lodge....your the best.

Fun way to cook

I've had these for a almost 2 weeks now. I bought them for my wife on Mother's Day since she had been eyeing them. They're great! They add an interesting dimension to cooking. We did NY steaks the first night and they came out amazing. We did prep with oil. If you have the kitchen for it why not use these. We also did jalapeño cornbread in them with NO stick. Came out smooth with no additional pan prep since the steak. Just take care of them. Lodge is well known as well. We received a follow up courtesy email from the company too.

Love these skillets.

I am a big fan of these skillets. They perform as expected but are on the heavy side. Which is to be expected. These certainly will last forever with proper care. The one thing I would change is the size of the handle. I didn't think I had big hands but the handle does feel a little small. If the handle was a little larger it would counter balance the weight of lifting the skillets off the stove top. But overall, I really do like them a lot.

Cook like Mom

Have wanted cast iron to cook in for a long time, finally made the order and do not regret one bit. From frying bacon, making gravy, to a peach cobbler, it's the best!

Awesome American Made Cast Iron Pans!

1st time having cast iron pans and love em. Good 3 piece set brand for small, medium, or large cooking. Easy to clean because definitely don't want them to rust. We store ours in the oven as well. Definitely plan to get more cast iron products by Lodge that's Made In America!!!
