While I wouldn't recommend leaded solder for someone who solders all the time, this is good for the home gamer who only sometimes needs to solder. It flows well, and has a lower melting point than the lead free stuff.

This solder works great. It melts quickly and flows easily. The "strand" is pretty thin. This is for intricate, small-scale soldering. If you have a big job to do, I suggest that you use something with a thicker strand. Even so, this is a great product. I would buy it again.

I've been using this to add switches to circuits with extremely fine/thin wire (and with switches that are known to "fry" if hot solder gets too close to the body). So far, I've not had a single circuit fail. This solder conducts even very low voltage current well, and behaves politely while molten. I plan to purchase more of the same when I start running low.

Took some time to remove the layers of protection such as plastic box encasing the item, plastic covering the item, and plastic covering the wire strings but once it came, it worked as intended. The wire is thin and bends, making it good for application.

Perfect solder for PCB boards and electronics. I had zero problems with this solder. Heats up great and sticks perfectly to everything I've tried. The smaller gauge is the way to go if you want accuracy. I was using cheap stuff and it was a mess. This cut my soldering time down by half. I will buy more when I run out.

My plasm tv would not turn on the red light would just come on. After some you tube “research” I took the tv apart and replaced 4 capacitors using this solder. The solder was easy to use and flowed well. I was easy to control the amount and flow as not to solder other items on the control board to each other. Now my tv works again. Who knew a little solder and $8 in capacitors would keep me from buying a new tv. Thanks for the easy to use product.

What makes solder worthy of a 5 star review? Let me count the ways: 1. Solder flows nicely 2. Solder STICKS where it's supposed to (good resin) 3. Good melting point 4. Plenty of solder on the roll That's about all you need from solder. This meets all criteria above and if you use solder for electronics like I do, you'll understand why this is good stuff. Don't buy the cheapo solder - you'll end up paying for it. Get decent solder and a good soldering iron and you're all set.

I had to put together a Raspberry Pi project with a ton of separate components and micro soldering for my son's school project. I haven't soldered anything since my young days soldering together slot car chassis out of brass tubing. I went to my local electronics store and they wanted nearly $50 for a roll of resin based solder. I found this on Amazon Prime and it worked perfectly. No running of the flux and perfect pinpoint solders at every point. All I can say is that it worked perfectly and saved me a lot of money for basically the same product.

Hot melty metal to carry the pixies around. No cancer yet.

been useing Radio Shack for years but now they are closed. found this and liked the reviews so i am trying. Seems to melt at a little lower temp witch is nice.
