VERY LOUD! Great deal for three.

I took a chance on these, thinking they might not be as loud as the pricey ones. But, I cannot imagine it being any louder! I went outside to try it so I wouldn't scare my dogs, and I'm glad I did, it scared me and made my heart jump! I have given one to my kids and have recommended these to my friends and family. The chain on this ends on a key chain ring, not a clip. But, you can attach a clip if you want, I just wound the key chain ring onto the metal ring on my purse near the strap. Having this hanging from my purse at a convenient and quickly accessible place, brings me peace of mind. I can easily pull the strap to activate it if anyone tries anything. I think that most criminals will run off upon hearing this loud sound. They don't want attention called to what they are doing. Now I just to to be careful that the strap doesn't catch on something and turn on by accident!
