Easy Installation

Very easy to install, remote receiver is all ready mounted and wired up the only wires you have is the white & black & the ground. Helpful tips , careful how you open the box I used a small knife to cut the tape on the box -the fan blades are packed on top I scratch the blade was lucky because it was the side that faces the ceiling. leave the rubber shipping tabs on the unit until you put the fan blades on this will stop it from spinning while installing blades. The light is a non replaceable led tabs that last forever it kicks out around 100 watts at max. Soft white .

Great Fan for 14X12' room, looks good, well priced

Got it for kids room 13.75 X 12 feet. Fan size is perfect for this room size. This room gets direct afternoon sun through the windows for a good 6 hours of the day. At low to medium speed, it generates sufficient breeze to have constant airflow. At high speed, it starts humming a little but nothing unbearable. It is not fancy but the design and color spots a modern style compare to most fans this price range (I paid $117.50 Oct 2018) but without a huge price tag. I shopped Lowes, Home depot, online fans warehouses etc most of the more decent looking ones of this fan blade size cost more than $140. Meanwhile, what I found for around $90-$120 are the 80s/90s ugly looking types with individual old fashion upside down bulbs you see in rentals or in cheap offices without update since 70s. I like the remote which is an added bonus. It took my spouse about 3 hours to install but that also includes removing the existing light fixture. When reading the reviews, I wanted to know the size of the rooms where this fan have been installed so i can compare if it is suitable for my room's size. Few if any, if i recalled, talked about how big/small their room is, only description of which room in their house it is installed (eg living room, kitchen etc). It was hard to tell even from the photos. I hope the dimensions of my room helped! After I read about some of negative comments about quality, I bought the square trade insurance since it is a few dollars for a piece of mind.

Easiest fan I have ever installed

I have probably installed about a dozen fans in the past 25 years. I had actually always purchased Hunter fans because I felt they were easier to install and quieter. I saw this fan at a condo we rented in Florida over Christmas and we really liked it. In large part because you can have it on high and it's still very quiet. I bought two of them and just finished the install. The second one took me about 30 minutes and that includes removing the old fan. Here are some things I really like about it: - Super quiet - Has a hook to hold fan in place while wiring (man that is useful) - Screws are keyhole type so you can leave most of them in (makes single person install much easier) - Everything fits tight - Blades have a slot they go in which holds them as you put screws in (another thing to make it easier) - There are really not a lot of parts, it's about as simple as it can be So well done Harbor Breeze. You made a believer out of me and I will most certainly buy your fans again.

Love my fan, quiet and modern You have to use the remote though which I didn’t realize. If you lose it you are out of luck because there is no switch on the fan but I still love it

I like the fact that you can dim the led light, and at its fullest it’s pretty bright for a small room like mine, nice feature to change the rotation of the blades aswell im happy with my purchase!

Great Cool Fan

We received this fan a few months ago but wanted to wait to give the review in case things changed from first installation but I am pleased to say that this ceiling fan far surpassed our expectations. We needed a fan in the bedroom to help cool us this summer due to such hot days and nights and this fan has done the job so well we have not missed a nights sleep since installing it. My husband found it very easy to install which is something cause he is a bit challenged when it comes to home repairs ha ha...so I was happy he had no problems. The fan is so quiet I have to keep asking my husband if he remembered to turn it on. It comes with a remote control and at first he thought the light was kind of dim but as I noticed in other reviews you have to hold the button down and it will get really bright..even brighter than our previous overhead light. I thought it might be kind of small but when it was up it is way bigger than I thought it would be. It is a great fan and so glad we purchased it. Just do not lose the remote...:)

remarkable affordability/performance/options

if several installed, remote is easily adjustable to change frequencies. I have 4 the house. after some practice you can install two blades (down) before final assembly to the roof. fist one took me 1 hr, last one took me around 30 min. fan 1st speed you can barely hear it. and 3rd provide enough breeze fro a large bedroom. light is dimable; strong enough to lit up the entire room and light enough to prepare for sleeping or watching a movie.

Elegant and somewhat Unique

You don’t find many ceiling fans with silver/gray blades. This is what we were looking for. We like the modern look and the classic brushed nickel finish. Just a heads up on a few details, you can not hook this up to a dimmer switch it can only be done with the remote included. If you do put it on a regular switch however it defaults to the last setting in which case is perfect for us. The light is dimmable through the remote and the bulb is not replaceable. The color of the light is more of a warm white than white light and it does put off a fair amount of light. The fan is quiet and seems to move the air really well for a three blade 44” fan. It’s all that we were hoping for and we are very pleased.

Love this fan!

We have two of these -- one in the living room and one in our bedroom and I love them! I wanted something attractive and not brown or white, but not terribly expensive, so this fit the bill. The remote is a great feature for a fan. It looks amazing and does its job. Just a tip: The light is dim when you hit the button. If you need it brighter, push the light button once and then quickly push it a second time and hold it down and it will get brighter (you may have to play around with that to figure it out exactly!). It's quiet, has three fan settings and looks fabulous. I think it would work well in a modern space or a more old-fashioned setting. It matches my dark teal living room and my sage green bedroom perfectly.
