Highly recommend
It makes perfect homemade gelatin. Flavorless and gels great. Highly recommend. I use it to add collagen to my diet for healthy skin, hair, and nails. And also make sugar free gelatin out of Aldi's flavored waters (cranberry, strawberry lemonade, tropical and lemonade flavors.) I'm on a weight loss plan and it helps me to snack on it instead of eating a high calorie snack. I soften 1 Tbs of gelatin in half a cup of flavored water, then heat to dissolve. Then add 1 1/2 cups of cold flavored water and stir until smooth. It chills up to a gelatin in 2-3 hours.

I bathe in this to boost collagen. My skin is smooth and silky. This is the same science concept behind peptides used in high end face products. Some places are perkier and more taut. I also internally take two tbsp of collagen peptides (from free-range cows) once a day in my coffee, but have noticed the boost after bathing in it three times a week for three weeks now. Lovin it!

Great product, highly recommended
After I purchased this beef gelatin a few months ago, I started to use it to make coconut pudding, for I still had unflavored gelatin left. I used the same amount of beef gelatin to substitute unflavored gelatin for my coconut pudding which turned out great.

It ran out sooner than I desired. I had no objections about the product. When I started using it, both knees were hurting from spending several hours a day on my knees. I have taken it now for 4 months, but I realized that about two weeks after I stopped making my knees angry, the pain left. I walk about an hour 6 days a week without any pain today. My supply also ran out today. I'll know in a few days what if any changes have happened since I no longer have access to the product. .

Excellent product
Very good gelatin, I add a scoop to my smoothie, electrolyte and elderberry concoctions. Love fact it has no taste, but adds a great texture to cold drinks. First pour cold drink, sprinkle gelatin on top, stir well, wait five minutes, then drink.

Great product but....
My husband and I have been taking this gelatin for a few months. My husband takes 1 1/2 scoops daily for joint pain and I take 1 scoop daily for my hair and skin. We have both been happy with the results. I mix it with a small amount of cold water then pour my hot tea over it. It dissolves nicely. We just ordered our 3rd container of it. My issue concerning our last order was not the product but with how amazon allowed it to be sent out. It had apparently lost it's label and an amazon employee just printed out an asin sticker and slapped it on a dirty container and it got sent to me like this. No real label, no nutritional information. I was appalled at the lack of quality assurance from amazon. This would have been labeled by an employee, then picked by another employee, then packed by another employee and none of them thought it might be unacceptable to send a food item with no serving/ nutritional information on it. Amazon customer service was very helpful and gave me a refund but if this has been my first time ordering this item I would have never reordered. The photos show what I have received in the past along with what I received this last time.

The fact that the cows are grass-fed instead of grain-fed is why I purchased this brand.
I wanted to avoid the toxins in pork gelatin and was happy to discover grass-fed beef gelatin, which is easier to use than agar agar. I use this gelatin to make recipes from

Works well to make gummy bears.
I purchased this product for my son to make gummy bears. This gelatin powder is yellowish tan in color. It is a fine, very slightly granulated powder. We have only used this powder in making gummy bears. So, my review is based solely off of this. I haven’t used it in making any other foods. There are many foods this product can be added to. I have seen many recipes that this product can be used with. All you have to do is look it up online and find out more about it. My son has been using this for about a month now. He has made gummy bears once or twice every week. So, he’s consumed about one quarter of this powder so far. It says it helps with hair, skin, and bones in the body. I haven’t been able to tell a difference so far. I’ll admit that I did like that this product is supposed to help with that. Maybe it needs to be consumed for a longer period to see a difference. My son has severe arthritis and joint issues. Above, it asks to rate this product as far as pain relief. My son said he can’t tell any difference as far as helping with any pain. So, I can’t give 5 stars on that. But, I didn’t really expect this product to give pain relief. Maybe it would help someone who has used it longer or who has less pain. Who knows? As far as making gummy bears, the recipe calls for 2 tbsp of this gelatin powder to be added to a box of jello. When this amount is added to the jello, you can tell a slight difference in taste. He has been using 1 to 1 & 1/2 tbsp, and it does taste and form better with less powder. You’d think it would form even better the more powder you use. But, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Either way, it does have a slight flavor, depending on how much gelatin is used, and probably based on what you’re making. You have to remember, there isn’t much to making gummy bears...only jello and gelatin. Sure, there are recipes where you can actually make it homemade with a lot of other ingredients added. The taste may be different if making homemade gummy bears. All in all, it works well to make the gummy bears we’ve been making.

Best GF Gelatin/ Best Price
I love this gelatin. I am on the AIP diet due to a health issue and use this gelatin to make Panna Cotta and gluten free bread. If I weren't able to make delicious foods I would not be able to stick with my new eating plan and my quality of life depends on it. The gelatin helps my bread hold together and gives it a better texture and I love the consistency it gives to panna cotta. I can't use it in smoothies, it clumps in cold drinks. The price is the best I have found anywhere for grass fed gelatin. I will definitely buy again.

I heard this was good for hair
I heard this was good for hair, skin and nails so decided to give it a try. Wasn't sure how to "take" it though. I decided to make a mug of "tea" with it by mixing it with a 1/2 cup of cold water (turns into a gelatinous goo) and then adding hot water which liquifies it again. I took a sip and it just tasted like very bland beef broth. I added a dash of sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper and it was actually pretty tasty. I think I'll just do this whenever I want to take a "dose" and perhaps try to work in some other healthy spices like turmeric or ginger. I'll update after the tub is done if I notice any changes.
