Solid Built
Initially when I received a defective one (on the left in picture), my first impression was "I got screwed with a cheaply made product". Because it came which had a broken screw on the second extension (it won't lift further) and full of rust and dust. When notified, the seller immediately sent me a replacement - arrived in less than couple days. But the new one really feels sturdy enough to hold more weight than I anticipated - comfortable and confident to place a $600 iPad & $300 Violin on it. And it raises enough for a 6' tall adult. It's been only a few days I'm having now, but so far I'm happy with the product.

This is a very sturdy music stand
This is a very sturdy music stand. I will be using it to put a 2 " 3 ring binder on it so I can read from the binder. My only complaint is the LED light. There are no instructions that come with the light and trying to figure out how to turn it on became a real challenge. After a few minutes, I discovered an outline on the back side of the head that holds the LED bulbs. I found out that if you press it once then one LED light turns on. If you press it a second time then both LED bulbs turn on. While a third press will turn the light off. Since there are two heads that hold the LED bulbs you must turn each head on and off separately. Overall I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better value than this sturdy Music stand.

Great Stand
My wife has struggled with music stands. Some were too flimsy. Others were an origami nightmare when it came to folding it up. This one is strong and large enough to support her music spread out in three pages. My wife liked it so much that she had me order a second one for her violin teacher.

Excellent stand - although included light is disappointment!
Love this stand!!! It is large enough to hold music books and sheet music folders. I love the case (which can also hold sheet music folders) and the clip. The light is another matter! Please do not buy this stand for the included light!! It quit working the second time I used it (refusing to turn off!) which was quite irritating. I also do not like the double light - it tends to throw shadows or light up only spots of the music. I ordered another light that works much better! The stand itself, however, is well worth the price, so I figured the light was just a freebie tossed in. This stand is so much more stable than my other "portable" stands.

I am in love with my new music stand
I am in love with my new music stand! I needed a strong, a durable, yet collapsible stand to hold my guitar songbook with all of my music for every performance I give in and around Southwest Kansas. I have tried other music stands, but they were not strong enough to hold my songbook that weighs right at 10 pounds--And is growing everyday! One of the features that this music stand has is the adjustable music holder feature. Depending on the overhead lighting that sometimes cast shadows or glares off my sheet music, I can easily and quickly tilt the stand to remove the shadow and/or glare without effecting the stability of the music stand. Having a carrying bag is a huge, huge plus for keeping everything together and protected during transport. I would highly recommend this product and this seller is totally awesome! By no fault of their own, the LED lights and music holder were not inside the factory-sealed packaging; however, it was listed on the outside of the packaging. I contacted the seller, and they immediately sent the lights and music clip via USPS--The very same day! They even sent reminders to be on the lookout for my package and insured the tracking number was included. I look forward to many, many years of service with this music stand. If I need to replace it, I will definitely order another one!

Awesome kit!
Great stand! I was expecting it to be a bit cheaper in construction given that the compay was including all the free items with it and it was still cheaper in cost than some others. That wasn't the case at all! It's very light but seems very stable and we'll put together. It took me 30 seconds to set it up for the first time. The free lights and music clip was a great addition. The power cord for the lights is too short to use it practically unless you're using it at the height of a seated position but it does include a 3 AAA battery compartment as well. The stand also has arms for holding your pages open in addition to the music clip

I really like this music stand + accessories.
I just test-drived this setup, and I really like it! Here's my assessment: - The stand is light enough to carry and move around easily, yet not so lightweight that any bump will knock it over. If you've ever had one of those fold-up stands, you know what I'm talking about. - The bookplate is great. I appreciate the vents, which reduce the overall weight without compromising integrity. I am able to write on music without tipping the whole thing over. My other music stand has a solid metal plate instead of vented, and the two are very comparable. - The bookplate is deep enough to hold several medium-size music books, a tuner (my smartphone, actually) and pencil. I can see why one reviewer said he's afraid the lip might bend with repeated use, but I think it'll hold up fine unless you're rough with it. - The bag is handy. For some reason I thought it'd be as large as a laptop bag, but it's actually the exact width of an open oversized band folder. Two drawbacks: 1) A small pocket to hold pencils/accessories would've been nice. 2) I would've preferred handles that were long enough to carry on my shoulder. Musicians don't need to carry another bag in their hands! - The collapsible stand is super solid and have nice rubber feet. It is SO much studier than those wobbly silver metal stands. - Like another user, it took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to attach the bookplate to the stand. When inserting, just make sure the screw part of the plate is on top. Because of repeated fiddling and failed attempts, I made a few scratches on the back of the bookplate. Not a huge deal, but be forewarned. - The light is a nice bonus, a bargain and one of the reasons I opted for this package. It is bright and has 3 settings: 2 lights (1 on each arm), 4 lights, and OFF. It may not be as bright as those 9-LED lights, but it really is more than adequate for almost every scenario. - Note that it is NOT a rechargeable light. You have to plug it into an USB port for it to work. This would be fine as a clip-on computer light (which is actually what the box says), but not very practical as a corded light for a music stand. Fortunately, it takes 3 AAA batteries. I can't see myself ever using the cord with the light. - The clip is kinda cool but not really practical nor necessary. I may use it as a clip for chip bags. I prefer using the pivoting metal clips, attached to the bookplate, to hold down music; these clips also quickly pivot out of the way so you can turn pages. All in all, this was a solid purchase, and I definitely got my money's worth. Rather than wasting your money on a flimsy model that will tip over and frustrate you to no end, spend a little extra for this sturdy stand, a nice clip-on light and a tidy bag to keep everything together when gigging.

Love this stand especially for the price
Love this stand especially for the price. My son uses it for his guitar practice - it is sturdy and the attached clips work perfectly to hold his music book in place. The stand collapses easily and can be stored or transported in the travel case.

Great for the price!
It is sturdy and is just as described. This was my second music stand, after a horrible first product I am very happy to have spend just a little more and got a much better product with some extras. The lights are being used daily. The clip is helpful in keeping single sheets in place. The bag and cable are being stored as we did not need to transport it yet. But everything is great so far. Definitely happy and would recommend it! Thanks!

Much better than the old-style flimsy fold-up stands
Sturdy but light. With four kids in different music classes this stand gets moved around our house regularly, mostly by 8 or 11 year old hands. It's been very sturdy yet easy to move, and the kids find the light to be convenient to see their music books.
