After V-Tech and AT and T - WOW! This Panasonic blows them out of the water into the sky and disintegrating in space! Everything is easy to access and the sound is far superior and it just is a solid, good piece of equipment. It is possible to change the ringtones and many other things to customize. And it obeys you. Not you it. The caller ID really keeps the scammers and tele-marketers as close as possible to “controlled!”

the best phones I have ever owned and I'm in my 60's. The only phones I've owned since moving here 38 yrs. ago that I have no problem hearing and those calling have no problem hearing me. They hold a charge for a long time and I love the block feature. I get such satisfaction pressing the "block" button when a telemarketer calls. Sometimes it's the small things! LOL!!! The numbers are easy to read even with my older eyes. Absolutely a 5 rating!

Plain and simple display, keypad and menu!

This Panasonic KX-TGD532W is a top-notch landline cordless phone. Key pad and display visuals are large, bold black-on-white. Instructions are elementary, uncomplicated. Reception is clear, very clear. I do not use voice mail; therefore, the only drawback for me is the preset voice mail program ... the answering machine must be set to respond at three rings to avoid the preset voice mail program interference. It seems that the preset voice mail program is common to all brands.

Working out great.

These are working out great, even tho I don't use my landline much. My old ones lost battery power each time I removed it from the charger and it would start beeping in the middle of a conversation. It was time to replace it. This one stood out. I like there are only 2 phones, don't need 5 or 3 like many others offer. I really like the call blocking button. So many solicitors bugging you all day. With my phone provider, who offers a redirect recording of all solicitor calls and this call blocking my phone rings much less. I like the voice announcement too. I would have liked it in grey but white is ok.

I Can Hear Clearly Now!

Good quality with plenty of volume. Love the call blocking feature; just one ring and they're cut off! The answer function is clear and easy to program and the base station can be wall mounted on a standard two-pin wall plate. Also, I found that earlier, similar Panasonic cordless units can be programmed to work with this DECT 6 set.

PERFECT phone & answering machine. I like how it tells me aloud who's calling that way I don't have to walk up to the caller ID to check. Everything worked since day 1 and I believe this phone will last. I bought this phone regardless of the negative reviews and I'm very glad I did. There's always going to be someone who hates an excellent product.

I purchased this for my Mom, it's her first ever cordless phone and she is not tech savvy. She loves the phone, especially the block caller button. She LOVES that feature. Setup was fairly easy for her and I was able to talk her through how to use other special features over the phone (we live in separate states). The caller ID display and buttons are easy for her to see and she hasn't had any complaints with the ringer volume. I can hear her clearly when we talk, she says I'm clear on her end too. When she puts me on speaker to say hi to her neighbor, I can't even tell that I'm really on it - super clear. It's been a month and so far no issues with it. She loves her new cordless freedom. Now if I can only talk her into getting a Smartphone....

Superb system

Did some research to find a phone system that would be good for the house. I chose the Panasonic because it received some great reviews and I am not sorry I did. The sound is great and with the feature of blocking unwanted calls is worthwhile. The intercom feature is very good, it saves everyone from "yelling" all over the house. Superb phone system, I'd recommend it any time!

Call blocker

Nice phone. I like that it announces who is calling you. I also like the call block option. I am still learning how to navigate around the features. More expensive, but a quality phone that hopefully will outlast some cheaper phones that I have had in the past.
