I am absolutely in love with this trail mix. The price of this trail mix seems like a steal considering the contents. Could you make your own? Yes, of course. For the convenience and quantity, I love this product. I usually fill up a one cup container with trail mix and then keep it in my work bag. I'll eat about 1/4-1/2 cup for a snack spread throughout the course of the day just for a pick me up. At this pace and with my husband snacking on it as well, it did last us over a month since I put this on subscribe & save and the second bag came before we finished the first.

The thing I hate most about certain trail mixes is the lopsided ratio of nuts to fruit, so I am always looking for a trail mix that doesn't go too heavy on the nuts, or too heavy on the fruit. This trail mix has a blend of nuts and fruit that really appeals to everyone in my household. Whenever you reach into the bag for a handful, or pour out a cupful, you always get a nice variety. Plus, it's not too sweet -- the cranberries keep things interesting. The nuts always taste fresh, too, not like they'd been sitting on the shelf for years before they were dropped into the bag. Plus, at 40 oz., there is enough of it to go around. Overall, I highly recommend this trail mix -- it rocks!

Thank You for such a great snack

Normally, I don't take the time to post a review of "snacks" that I have purchased. However, this product is worth the review- this means it's an outstanding snack that doesn't make you feel guilty of consuming. In fact, I polished off about a cup of these over a 1 hour period and it didn't even raise my blood sugar the following morning when I checked my blood! Thank you Amazon for a top-notch snack! 5 Stars are not enough!

I have enjoyed along with family members all of the Happy Belly products. This one, however, is my very favorite and since it is quite habit forming, I have to "hide" it from myself! I am reminded of that old adage the one potato chip is not enough as one eats the whole bag. The size of this trail mix would prohibit polishing it off in one sitting by one person. Don't expect to last if it is set out for a group of people! We aren't hikers but carrying a little bag when out shopping or waiting in a doctor's office is acceptable! Yum! Yum!

Good product

This is a really good product. My only thoughts are the word raisins might be used in the title in lieu of dried fruit, as there are only raisins in there, and not different dried types of fruit as the name implies. I read the ingredients first, but, had I know, I might have expected dried cranberries or other dried fruit from the title's name. I will buy again.

The one with the pepitas is great!

The balance of sweet and salty...the variety of nuts. Perfection! However....when you reorder be careful....read the product label and description! For a while there was only one variety of Happy Belly products with dried cranberries and nuts. Not any more!!!! I mistakenly ordered the other variety which does not have pepitas, pecans or walnuts. And while good....my belly would have been infinitely happier with what I was intending to buy! Definitely recommend the cranberries, pepitas, pecan, almond, walnut and cashew variety!

Best trail mix!!

I absolutely love this trail mix. Perfect balance of cranberries to nuts for my preferences. Only bad thing I have to say is why is this mix not available on subscribe and save when the other Amazon trail mixes are? Add it to subscribe and save and I will buy a bag every month!

Easy Snack!

I purchased these in preparation for the hurricane to have as an easy snack. The bag is a nice size for a family, could even be used for a party. I would say with 1 being the most and 3 being the least the portions are as followed: 1) Nuts 2) Dried Fruits 3) M&ms Overall I will definitely be purchasing again!

I love this Happy Belly Nuts, Chocolate. Oh my gosh, it's so delicious. Do not keep the bag close by because it's so irresistible you will not stop munching on them. The bag is huge. I think it is a great deal for the price. Buy it. You will thank yourself later. There is a great selection of raw nuts, combined with the fruit and chocolate that make your mouth go yum.

Good Stuff

I decided to try this mix and was not disappointed. I keep it at work for when I want a snack and it’s perfect. The only issue I have is the resealable zip closure failed. One side of it pulled away from the bag. It’s not a big deal for me. I just fold the bag over and wrap a rubber band around the bag. I will be ordering this again for sure.
