Good product, even if a little pricey
This worked really well to mount my 48" Hi Lift in a 2000 TJ. I don't use the backseat so I mounted it on the front side of the roll bars instead of how it's shown to install on the JK. Solid mount and easy to install. I saw a lot of reviews about cost, but these I think are made well for the bucks.

Great jack mount
At first I was disappointed because this won't go around the top off my roll cage on my 17 jku (even after removing some styrofoam, and the cover), but I mounted it on the sides as high as possible. It turned out better than I expected. It doesn't effect my visibility out the back window at all, and I still have all my cargo space to haul stuff. Also, no rattling, or anything.

Works for me
This is pretty cool. I’ve had a few hi lift jack mounts n the this is by far my favorite. I wanted to keep my jack inside the cab to prolong the jack and prevent rush (living in New England) this was the solution to my problem. The only downside is it either takes up truck space and/or it blocks the rear window depending on where you mount it. My recommendation it do your research and figure out what works best for your rig for me however this is absolutely great.

Easy to install and workes perfect.
I mounted these brackets on the roll bar behind the front seats of my Jeep CJ7. I don't have a back seat in the vehicle so it looks and works perfect. I have tried to mount lacks other places (hood mounts, front bumper, rear tire) but all those places subject the jack to weather and UV so corrosion leading to an ugly looking jack is inevitable. I also have a hard top so these brackets keep my jack secure, protected and ready for action when I need it. They are too expensive though. I mean it's just a couple pieces of aluminum with a couple holes and a threaded stud mounted in them.

I installed this in my 13 JKU. The pictures show it being use on the bottom of the roll bar. I didn't want to block my cargo area so I put up top. Just unzip the cover, split the fabric seem, and bolt it on.

No regrets; glad i bought it.
So you get a big jack. Good. Now where are you going to mount / store it? Didn't want to bolt it to the hinges on the hood. Couldn't find a mount for the rear tire / rear bumper that I have. Didn't want to mount it to the front bumper. Running out of options. This is a mount for the back of the roll cage inside, right above the tail gate. It is sturdy. The only problem is if you want to load something large in the cargo area, that will be a problem; it is in the way. My jack is a 48". If I took some time I could probably figure a way to mount it on the roll cage right behind the passenger seat. I think so. No regrets; glad I got it.

Works perfectly on my CJ7!
Bought these to mount a 48 inch hi lift jack behind the backseat of a 1983 CJ7 and it worked perfectly! They mounted to the roll bar and held the jack in the perfect position. They come with all necessary hardware and 2 sets of U bolts with different lengths. Nice finish and all aluminum with all stainless hardware so they won't rust. Very heavy duty, worth the price. Not a big fan of the bumper or hood mounted hi lift jacks so this worked well for my application.

Happy with purchase, best product and best price
This is one of my favorite additions to my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Recon (JKU17) for the price. The name brand product was surprisingly the best price. Looked at a lot of products and reviews before buying this one. Very satisfied with the quality and function of this mount. I mounted it as high as possible on my rear roll cage, which is just under the seat belt holders on the rear pillars. There is plenty of space under the roof for the jack. It's clear to take the hardtop off. The mount goes on very easy, 15 minutes total, with no cutting, drilling or modifying my jeep in any way. It goes right over the roll cage cover. Super happy about that. The mount holds the jack tight and secure. It comes with lock washers so the bolts or jack do not come loose. The knobs have a lock washer too, and are easy to put on take off. It also comes with a small Velcro belt that you can use to keep the jack handle tight and from shifting. Puts the jack in an easy to get place that is out of the storage area. It works well with the top on or off. The pack also comes with shorter v-bolts if you have a different type of jeep tube. Honestly, either size would work on the JKU. This is way better than mounting it on the hood--where we had it at first. Highly recommend this mount and location to any Jeep owner.

Solid Buy
These mounting brackets are well made. The product says it is designed for a JK or can be used on other models without the top on. I installed it in the position shown on the JK in the pictures on my 2005 TJ. It took a while to position it just right as there is not a lot of room back there with the rear seat in. I have a soft top and was able to position it so that my 48” Hi-Lift just barely squeezes in there. The base of the jack just touches the window on the soft top when zipped closed. No way this would work on a TJ with a hard top. The Velcro strap that came with it I assume is to secure the handle on the jack so it doesn’t rattle. I doubt this will be very effective and will need to get the steel clip they make.

Very nice. I have gone through several mounting locations for my hi-lift and this is by far the cleanest and most secure. Works well with both my hard and soft top, is very secure, well built and the install was extremely easy. Go for it!
