Would recommend for parents of young kids
Works great, not total blackout but I'd say about 90%. Bought it because my 4 year old wouldn't go to bed because she could see light from the window and she argued it was still daytime. Problem solved with this! Installation was a breeze. Would definitely recommend for parents with young kids. I have to admit it has only been up for a couple of days so I don't know yet if it will stay on. However, I also have to add that it keeps the bedroom cooler which is a plus for us.

It was easy to install
This film works exactly as described. It was easy to install, sticks to the glass very well, and totally blocks out the light. Some advise is not to install it when there is direct sunlight on the window as the film got too warm when I was installing it and it stretched out of shape a little. However when it cooled it fit great and sticks well.

Easy install, looks better than I thought! Blackout Window version
This is some amazing stuff, finally got rid of the glare on my TV caused by my front door. I was honestly thinking about buying a whole new door then someone recommended putting something like this over the window. I thought the black might look really bad but it actually blends pretty nice. Application is pretty easy, only hard part was cutting around the curved piece, I think I just needed a sharper blade and I could do it better. Took me about 5 minutes after I got the package open.

Primo solution for those working night shift!
This stuff really works well. My girlfriend is a nurse who works night shift. I put this on the bedroom window and it completely changed her life. It's full on Vegas blackout. Maybe 1% of light might leak through in super bright direct sunlight between the edges of the window but that's really quibbling. If you cut it a quarter inch oversized you'd kill even that little bit of light leakage. It's literally cave spelunking dark. Huge quality of life improvement for anyone that works the night shift.

I work overnights and have always had issue with the darkening shades and curtains always letting in a little light. This thing so far is great, lets in no light and my room looks like the middle of the night all the time. Very easy to install, not sure about removing but it looks like it will be easy to remove. At this time I would highly recommend this product to day sleepers.

Completely blocks out light.
I love this window film! It’s perfect for a night shifter like myself, as it completely blocks out the light. Installation was relatively simple, but my suggestion would be to allow a quarter inch on each end, squeegee it flat (I used a credit card), and then stuff the ends between the window and the trim that encase it, if possible. I would recommend one single sheet for each window pane unless you don’t mind the look of the overlap. It’s a pretty thick material, and I don’t know if overlap would stick to itself since the exposed side has a rough feel. One picture is a comparison where the left window pane is covered and the right side isn’t, and you can tell that no light comes through. Other is comparison at the same time of day between covered and not covered. I highly recommend.

Super easy to apply - much more forgiving than other ...
Super easy to apply - much more forgiving than other films. It is thicker and softer than traditional "tint" films, but does truly darken a room. There is a bit of translucence - you will be able to see that there is light outside, but this is the only film I've ever found that qualifies as blackout (except for aluminum foil, if you want that "meth lab" aesthetic). Highly recommend. Install tip: don't try to be cute and pre-cut it to size. Cut it oversize by a minimum of 2" in each direction. Wet the hell out of it and the window, and slap it up there. Be sure both sides are wet before you start smoothing it out. When you have all the bubbles out of the middle and are down to the edges, use a razor or Exacto knife and metal ruler; press the ruler against the film and apply pressure toward the outside edge as you slide your knife down the length. After you've trimmed the excess, remove the remainder of the bubbles from the edges. Use less pressure than you did in the middle to prevent additional stretching of the film and screwing up your immaculately trimmed edges. :)

I like it but dosnt work for me unfortunately.
Looks great works well if it's not cold I had issues I believe due to the cold at first they stuck great. I must say customer service is super on point its 12am in California I emailed CS with issues they emailed me back in less than 20 mins wow! Kudos great job that alone gets you five stars. You may have better luck or have smaller windows the larger ones are the ones I'm having issue with the small ones seam to only have minor peeling at the edges. Over all I'm happy with the experience wish it would stick a bit better though, But I get the stiatic cling is only going to do so much. Really didnt want to limo tint the windows but I suppose that's what is in order. The garantee is true very nice company will do buisness with them again if I ever need something like this that I could keep warm I'm almost positive the warm temps would help it out nothing likes sticking to cold surfaces.

Blackout is completely opaque, works very well
This is for the blackout version. It works great, it is completely opaque. This might sound obvious, but this is not easy to find, as a shift worker, I have tried many "blackout" products that let a lot of light in. I actually found this to be a pretty forgiving DIY project. I'm not particularly good at anything that requires steady hands or fine motor skills, but these sheets stretch and are easy to cut. I even dropped a piece a couple times, but it does unstick from itself and you can clean it off by brushing it. I cleaned the window thoroughly before application, and then sprayed windex on the glass, and it attached just fine. They are easy to remove by pulling, though. Edit: I decided it worked so well that I did another window with the same product. I used a trick on my windows, I got some black electrical tape to cover up the edges where I didn't cut 100% perfectly, plus the tape helps a little with adhesion, although I don't think the film really needs it.That was a few weeks ago now. This film is really great, I can open and close my window, and it isn't coming off or anything. I don't even need to think about it.

This static window film is impressive, totally room darkening as advertised.
I've been working the overnight shift for more than nineteen years now. However, sleeping during midday can still be most challenging for me at times. Therefore, I have sought out a way of mitigating the suns effect on my sleeping. This is what brought me to purchase the room darkening window film. I must say that I'm most impressed that the film works as advertised. I haven't slept, so good in ages for midday is now comparable to sleeping at night since the install. I'm pleased that I made this purchase. A big thumbs up too the seller for supplying a high-quality product promptly. Warm regards, Antown
