Beautiful color
This apple green was hard to find but awesomely beautiful in a circular knitted Afghan. Color shades gradual and lovely.

Machine washable and dryable
I have not used it yet but will add completed project when done. I love Red Heart Super Saver Yarn. My purchase was 6 Turqu (7 oz ea) and 2 Scuba (10oz). 62 ounces of yarn less than $48 and free shipping with Prime. New feature is the labels all have arrows to show which end is middle of skein!!! I have always used RHSS. The finished piece was with Flamenco (Red Heart Stripes)

Beautiful yarn
This yarn is beautiful variegated colors and is soft and easy to work with. I made it into a lap quilt for a friend who loves these colors and it turned out lovely. I had never used this brand of yarn before but surely will again in the future.

best yarn
any Red Heart listed on my page is fantastic. The only yarn I use for my products, scarves, shawls, afgans , baby blankets etc.

Love red heart
Very soft, and great color change delay. I rather use ombre yarn instead of the other color mixes that only get a few stitches in before changing.

Beachy Color
This yarn was easy to work with. The color was soft and beachy. The afghan I made was a gift and the recipient is thrilled with it.

Reviewing the Blue Ombre
I love Red Heart yarn and use it for all of my projects. I am a very experienced crocheter. I have been at it for over 50 years and have made dozens of afghans and baby blankets, all with Red Heart yarn. I bought 6 skeins of this yarn. Because I was trying to make a blanket for a young child, I decided to make two blankets. What you see in the photos is the product of 3 skeins. 6 skeins would cover a double bed very nicely, using the pattern I went with (meaning just that simple back and forth). I bought this yarn because I thought it was pretty. I was not disappointed. I'm going to buy more in other colors to make more kid blankets. The price I paid on Amazon compares VERY favorably to the same item at Herrschners. One reviewer complained that the end product was not soft. Try a larger hook. Another complained about knots in the yarn. It happens. Just keep an eye out. Another complained about a discoloration. This is extremely rare, but it happens. Just keep an eye on your project as you work.

Disappointed--Be careful
I really like to use Red Heart yarns and I gave this purchase 5 Stars, but from this point forward I will be more aware of what can go wrong. It is not uncommon to have a factory knot in the skein somewhere. This project had a knot in a skein and I just crocheted on through it. I did not notice that the knot was dirty and it was on the pale blue part of the yarn. The afghan was almost complete before I did notice the dirty knot. I have not tried to wash out the dirt yet, but I hope it is not grease from the spinning machine as that will probably not come out.. From now on when I run across a knot I will cut it out and retie the yarn myself. I was disappointed with Red Heart this time.
