I have a walk in closet that I turned into a nursery. The light switch is very inconveniently placed so I found this product and decided to purchase. I am so glad because turning on the light will be such a breeze now. I even hit glued it to the closest entrance so my 3, 5, and 6 year old can turn it on and get things I may need, without them having to climb on a chair to reach the original switch. Seeing that I will be having a cesarean....... I will need my little helpers to get things from nursery for me at times.... I love this........

bit disappointed. bought these for my daughter to use in the basement of a rental where all the light are separate and on pull chains. initially, they all worked on setup and then one stopped. she switched bulbs, sockets but could not get it to work after just 4 tries. she says there is no light even coming on - on the unit itself like with the other. must be dead. UPDATE, 2/2/18 - seller immediately responded to my review and was kind enough to send out a replacement, which i inderstand works great. Thanks!

Initially I didn't give five stars because one of the three sockets didn't work, however the folks at Dewenwils went out of their way to correct the problem and help me set up the system with a new socket, really awesome customer service!! One of the reasons I love this set up is because I'm not a fan of all these "digital personal assistants" that listen to your every word (so big brother). This is an excellent option for folks who want more privacy.

Used in a large basement utility room with 3 separate keyless lamps on pull strings. Put these in and they work like a charm. Appears they pair in the order you install them since the first one I installed turned out to work with sw #1, 2nd one installed with sw#2 and so on with no programming on my part. After several days my wife loves them since the pull chains on the original light sockets can get hung up and not always work correctly. These did the trick and the value was great

We have 3 lights on our front porch that are controlled my one switch. When I sit on the porch at night I feel like I'm on display with all the light. These devices went in easily and allows me to select which lights I want on/off without having to hardwire in new switches. Genious.

I bought this set and loved it. One of the sockets must have been a dud, however, because after a month or two it stopped working and I mentioned so in my review at the time. The seller reached out to me right away and offered to send me a new socket, no questions asked. They were very eager to earn back my trust in their products. It was clear that customer satisfaction is taken seriously, which I appreciate. Anyway, they sent me the single set (one socket and one remote) instead of just a replacement socket, which was nice of them, and I was able to pair the new socket onto the original remote and now my light setup is back to normal! I personally have three accent lights in my bedroom and it is very convenient to be able to turn them all on/off from my bed or anywhere else with the remote. All in all, this is an awesome product sold by an awesome company!

These work really well. We have a floor lamp with three lights on it. One button near the top operates all the lights either individually or has them all on at once - a lot of twisting of the knob. Also, if seated, a person would have to get out of your chair, or off the couch in order to turn on/off a specific light. With these we turned the until all the lights were on, and then turned them all off with the included remote. The remote has a row of four on/off switches. Without getting up we can now turn on/off any of the three lights we want. The fourth set of buttons on the remote turns on/off all three lights at once. The only con, for me, is the fact that due to the length of these remote sensors the light bulbs now extend slightly beyond their glass shade. I'm willing to live with that for the convenience of not having to get up every time I want to turn a light on or off.

We recently moved a large cupboard right over the light switch that operates a spot light and a chandelier (with two lights). I bought this and it does the job perfectly! I like the 'everything on/off' button. It's very sensitive, no need to 'point' it at things. I'd be even more happy if it had a dimmer function, but you can't have everything! I worried that it might take up too much room with the extra height, but that hasn't been a problem at all. The spot light is in a canister and it actually helps to have a bit of extra height. Update: May 2018 One of the sockets stopped working. I tried everything, but it's dead as a doornail.

Seems to work fine but lifts the bulb up 2-3 inches so it sticks out above the lamp shade. When I tried it on another lamp the bulb runs into the thing that holds so it can't fit at all. I use regular size light bulbs so I don't really know what to do about it. The product seems to work fine in controlling the on/off from the remote. My mother is handicapped and it allows her to turn the lamp off from her bed. I put it in a torchier lamp and although the bulb still peeks out the advantages outweigh the disadvantage.

I bought this for the three light sockets, to be combined with a wall switch from another kit also available on Amazon (and now i have an extra switch and outlet left for something else - pro tips!). The instructions were clear (not always the case for cheap electronic gadgets like this), the setup worked first try, and I'm now able to control my 3-light ceiling fixture without having to rewire the old wall switch which is inconveniently placed behind a door that's been rehung. One thing to note is that the light sockets do add a fair amount of space, so i had to adjust the ceiling light cover to accommodate the extra space required by the three bulbs. But they also clearly state that in the description, so not a complaint. It would be nice if they could shrink the size slightly though.
