An amazing little tool. Great value for the price. Exactly as advertised. It is a fun toy and a useful tool. It came quickly, as ordered. The directions for connecting the camera to my Android smart Phone were straightforward, including how to access the correct app(s) to download. The "business end" (camera) of the 16 ft cable is semi-rigid, so useful for placing the camera out of normal reach. The vendor was very responsive when I asked for help with using the camera connected to a PC. The supplied software downloading instructions were incomplete, as I am familiar with .ZIP files, but did not know what a .RAR file is nor how to "un-pack" an RAR file. The Focal Distance is listed as "4-6 cm" which is the optimal distance from lens to object for the fixed focus. An adjustable focus would be nice, if such is made, and I imagine would add considerably to the cost. At its simplest, it is useful if you want to look in your own ear, or at that itch on the back of your neck, It has a level of waterproof, so could be used to identify that clog in your drain. I imagine the bold could even administer their own sigmoidoscopy, but I would not advise it (laughing). For the low price, you can't go wrong.

valuable tool for looking behind drywall

Smelled a dead mouse in the wall all weekend... I knew which wall it was in, but not which joists it was between. Rather than tearing big holes in the wall so I could look in, I ordered this overnight. Lets me look in the space between joists through a 3/8" drill hole. I found the mouse in two attempts, so I only had to spackle one small extra hole. Incredible value! Saved me hours of cutting through drywall and then patching it back up.

My Fantronics USB Type-C Camera arrived unusable, the LEDs would light, but no video. Tried all the steps as outlined in the manual, including connecting to several different laptops. I emailed customer service and quickly received a detailed set of steps to follow, including both phone and laptop connection procedures. It turns out my unit was bad. Customer service immediately sent out a new one, which worked as soon as I connected it to my phone. Days after I had confirmed with Fantronics that the replacement unit was working, I received a followup email, asking how it was working for me! My Phone: Nexus 5x with Android 7.1.2 Using : FPViewer app (free version), seems to work good and uses the phones entire screen w/o ads

Exactly what i was looking for!!

Love this scope! I'm an electrician and I was looking for something to snake through walls to check old wiring, help run new wire and see where my holes were being drilled in blind spots! I could never find a review saying how far u can see with the camera! Yes, the focal distance is 2-18 inches depending on model but u can see plenty good 4-8 feet away inside walls! Highly recommended for any DIYer or professional that needs a camera in tight spots!

Works great for samsung S8+

At first this wouldnt work on my s8+. It kept saying that my port detected water. Once I downloaded new software it works perfectly Update** in the process of trying to figure out why this wasnt working with my phone I ended up taking off and losing the light brightness wheel cover. Hindsight I wish I wouldn't have messed with it as it started to go downhill from there. I knew realistically that it would last very long but it lasted a few months. I actually ordered it again recently and made sure not to monkey with it

Camera is acceptable, Rigidity is good. Useful tool.

Bought this for a quick tool to use at my job in Hvac, (frequently ductwork will be obstructed and I need to know who to blame). Pop this thing down an access door, done. It also was useful in figuring out what was blocking my dryer exhaust. Pic related. 2 mismatched socks, 35+ shirt stays, 5-8 hair bands, 2 paper towels, and so forth.

Works well

I got this to use at work. Allows me to monitor equipment under test in a thermal chamber without a window. The recommended app doesn't work well with my Galaxy S8+ so I use the Endoscope app instead without issues.

The adapter was 1/2 the price, so I gambled and just bought a new endoscope based on the ratings/reviews of this model. Excellent performance and value

Epic. It kept coming up that I would need to see into some small, dark recess of a pipe or basement, and this is basically an ideal solution. Very clear picture. Can't believe the price.

Worth Every Penny

I love this thing. It's a much more useful tool than I expected it to be. The image is very clear, and the light works great in dark places. It may only functionally work at 720p, but in my experience, the picture is clear enough you don't notice the lack of resolution. For the money, this is an excellent tool. I should've bought one years ago. My only complaint are the ads in the software that take up some screen real estate.
