TRULY HAPPY with my Giara Glass bottles!

Hi, California Home Goods! I purchased these bottles to test them on the idea of squeezing the juice of the limes and lemons I purchase at Costco or BJ's instead of having some of them go to waste because they are not used in time. Your bottles are perfect and working so very well. Now fresh lime or lemon juice is available from the fridge to splash on anything... make fresh lemonade... marinate meat... freshen up a cocktail, without the need to squeeze each lemon or lime at the point to use. Have not had to throw out any lemons or limes which have passed the their shelf life. Just marvelous! My adult children love the idea of having fresh squeezed juice in the fridge and use it to splash some Vitamin C in a glass of water or seltzer ! They love it. Great gift/idea for them! I wholeheartedly recommend these glass bottles for their ease of use, quality and price point. (And, they're great for left over wine, too!)

More than water!!

I was having dinner with a friend and this type of bottle held our water. When the bottle was placed on the table she was impressed. So that night I ordered 2 one for each of us at Amazon Prime. Each of us enjoyed our little gifts and both of us highly recommend this product. Very nice addition to any dining table!! Especially with the holidays approaching.

Great for homemade water kefir - excellent customer service

Love these bottles for our homemade water kefir. Love hearing the "pop" after a 1-2 day second fermentation on the counter. Just make sure to "burp" them if you do the second fermentation with these sealed - they can explode from the pressure if you don't. My initial order of 2 bottles had 1 bottle that didn't seal properly, and I reached out the vendor who quickly replaced both bottles after I shared a picture of the uneven seal on the defective bottle. Very quick and friendly service. I highly recommend if you're looking for bottles like these!

Great for brewing fermented beverages

We've successfully used these bottles to brew a couple of batches of ginger beer (also one strawberry soda in process) and they have performed splendidly. No leakage or breakage. The champagne yeast we use produces a lot of CO2, so we burp the bottles daily. I don't know how much internal pressure these bottles could withstand, but it is more than sufficient to carbonate my (non-alcoholic) beverages without any problem. We haven't tried it yet, but these should work just as well for alcoholic beverages.

I needed something to put my famous jalapeno infused tequila margarita's into. Well, these are the ticket. I love them because they are the perfect size and have a great seal that prevents leaks. I have used these 4 times so far and each time I love them more. I will be giving these away as gifts during the holidays. Can't go wrong with this purchase!

Good sized bottles with a tight seal

I ordered these to decant some unfiltered olive oil into, and they were the perfect size. Nice tight seal for the cap, though when using it for an olive oil dispenser the hanging cap tends to get in the way. It's not a huge deal, though, and certainly nothing that would stop me from buying more of these bottles. As others have mentioned, the seal is too tight for carbonated/fermented beverages, but I'm planning to make and store small batches of flavored teas in my bottles next.

Arrived as expected and bottle stopper more durable than other similar bottles

The actual bottles are what you would expect from this type of product. Durable and smooth with no obvious/unsightly seems. What sets this apart is the bottle stopper. Rather than a rubber gasket that can easily separate from the stopper, the rubber gasket seems to be affixed to the stopper and appears to be made from a more flexible material than the typical redish-orange rubber that can often get dried out and crack.

Nice bottles for kombucha

These bottles are very nice and are perfect for bottling kombucha. I had two very small issues...one had some glass slag left behind during manufacturing which i picked off relatively easily, so i suggest washing and inspecting thembefore use. The second issue was with the wire swing top, one was not assembled correctly, but we fixed that easily also by removing it and squeezing the wire tighter.

You'll find a million uses!

Once you buy these you'll wonder what you did without them! Tired of fiddling with corks on your bottles of cooking wines? Pour them into these. Like organized storage? Pour your sauces and condiments into these and label them. Have a grill addict? Pour the oils, etc into these bottles and create an attractive grill-side array!

Simple, no-nonsense glass bottles with air tight seal

Only had these a few days, but so far, they're exactly what I was hoping for. No nonsense clear glass bottles with an air tight seal. This is an immediate, easy upgrade to the cheap plastic bottles that liquids typically come in at the grocery store. They look elegant, are (so far) durable, and I plan to use them for a long time in my kitchen to store things like olive oil and vinegar. I could also envision using them this summer at BBQs for sparkling water or soda. These are very similar to the bottles they store water in sometimes at nice restaurants - an affordable way to class up your kitchen!
