• The traditional Japanese Deba is designed for cutting top fish dishes. TUO's Deba combines minimalist design with excellent quality, makes it the perfect choice for genuine Japanese cuisine.
  • Traditional fine craftsmanship: The elaborate hand polishing by craftsman has endowed TUO Deba the detail-fine quality. The use of traditional manual grinding menthod combined with modern vacuum heat treatment and nitrogen cooling technology, enable the hardness up to 58± HRC, sharp yet flexible, with good corrosion resistance. The repeatedly manual polishing, which adopting the Japanese traditional 15 degree unilateral egding, makes the slicing such a enjoyment rather than just a motion.
  • The high-quality timber: Adopting the 1st class German steel as the material for the blade, thus endowing the higher hardness than the normal one. This results a sharper blade with better flexibility, therefore comes the anti-corrossion ability, not likely to dent as well. Sufficient material has been used for the whole knife, the blade is relatively heavy, which is design for cutting the bone and handling the smaller meat.
  • The anti-skid corner: Hemi corner designed handle in one molding, excellent anti-skid ability, siginificantly improving the comfort and safety while being using by any kind of hand shape.
  • Tuo commitment: Lifelong maintaince for every knife we sold. That is why we are trusted and chosen by the chefs all around the world. KINDLY PLEASE NOTE THIS KNIFE WITHOUT ORIGINAL PACKAGE!

This slicing knife is by far one of the best purchases made upon both product and Amazon customer reviews. The TUO meat slicing knife is razor sharp, has a properly stiff blade, holds an edge for hundreds of cuts without honing, and is very ergonomic. It made my holiday turkey carving look professional and is now put to regular work cutting ultra thin slices from a whole prosciutto ham. This knife will make slices an electric carving knife is incapable of producing. Trying to find a downside if there is one, and I cannot find it. I cannot believe I went this long in life without a proper slicing knife, especially given the incredible price-point under $40.

Pretty sturdy. Sharp and sweet. Good looking.

This is a beautiful, useful and wickedly sharp meat slicer. It has a nice midpoint balance and ovoid handle shape. The Damascus pattern is striking. I’ve only had a few days, so yet to be seen how long it will stay sharp, but I’m hopeful.

Best knife I’ve used in a while! You couldn’t buy the steal to make this knife for the price I paid. It is an amazing deal. Just ordered a second one to have in reserve. Was delivered faster than anticipated. Very pleased with this knife.

We are a family of carnivores and use this knife for cutting large roasts to prepare for freezing. Surprisingly comfortable for such a long knife.

I purchased this knife as my new main brisket cutting knife, and it cuts like a dream. I have to admit that I bought this knife because I loved the way that it looked, and I just hoped that it would cut well. I am very pleased. The wood in the handle really looks amazing, and I'm glad that I purchased it. I almost went with another brand, but this knife gets a ton of comments from my guests who are over whenever I'm cutting a brisket after a 12-14 hour cook. I've sliced beef brisket with this knife without tearing it to shreds, and that's an accomplishment for even the most experienced pitmaster. It cuts pork loin really well into slices as well, but I use it primarily as a brisket knife. If you're on the fence about this knife, give it a go. It's beautiful, and it cuts really well. Win win in my book.

I bought seven of the TUO Cutlery Ring D series Damascus cutlery pieces for a Christmas present and love every one of them. They are sharper than anything I've ever encountered, and showed me just how bad my old cutlery set really was. One word of caution. If you have not been using high quality and sharp cutlery before using these, you must be careful. They are not just sharp, they are SHARP!!! I cut myself several times in the first week before it finally sunk in that I must be careful until I learn to use them correctly and pay attention to what I am doing! Once that hurdle was passed, they're great. I am going to repeat this review for all seven pieces because it applies equally to each one.

This is a very good knife for the price. Great for starters. Handle is a little heavy, but overall its a good knife. I do sushi with it, and it is not too bad. Glad I found this product. Not as expensive as my Yoshihiro, Masakage, Kikuichi, Suisin and Nenox. I would recommend this product to starters, or knife entusiasts.

This is a gorgeous knife. I've been using it for about 6 months. The blade has remained perfectly sharp. And I've been very impressed with the overall quality of construction and materials. Honestly, it's a much better value than expected. For those who are shopping knives in this size range and wondering, just know that this is truly a carving knife, and not a good kitchen utility knife. But every time I pull it out to do the carving duties (turkey, roasts, brisket, etc.), this knife gets lots of compliments.
