I like the yarn it is not that soft but very colorful and bright. Making a scarf for a friend or keeping it.

Red Heart Yarn Rocks

I love Red Heart yarn and use it for all of my projects. I am a very experienced crocheter. I have been at it for over 50 years and have made dozens of afghans and baby blankets, all with Red Heart yarn. I bought 6 skeins of this yarn to make a blanket for a young child. (please see photos) One reviewer complained that the end product was not soft. Try a larger hook. Another complained about knots in the yarn. It happens. Just keep an eye out. Another complained about a discoloration. This is extremely rare, but it happens. Just keep an eye on your project as you work.

Couldn't pass up a good deal which is why I bought this colorway! Red heart isn't always the softest yarn but the color and fibers hold up to the test of time. (I always soften my red heart with conditioner anyway, so I get the best of both).
