Very cool item to have in my car safety kit. Wish there was an easier way to shutoff (have to move through all the modes) but it’s not going to be used daily so I guess it’s not a big deal.

Great emergency beacon.

Very bright, I like that it use AA batteries, but It could use instructions for the controls and battery replacement. Hint, to turn it off, press the switch for about 3 seconds and one led will blink a couple of times, release the button. Now when you press the button to turn it back on, it will return to the same flash sequence as when as when you turned it off. You don't have to go back through them all to find the flash sequence you want.

Well Made, Good Value.

Fantastic product. Well made and much better than I thought they would be. I'll be ordering extra sets for Christmas gifts, they're that good. Only problem is they didn't come with a set of instructions on how to change the AAA batteries. I took the two screws off the back of one of the flares but it wouldn't open up and I didn't want to force it open and break it so I emailed the supplier and am waiting to get a response. Thought about dinging one star for no instructions but they are a good product and I definitely recommend them. Update. I found a few you tube videos for LED road flares and figured how to open them. After removing the screws you push on two small tabs and the back will pop off.

Awesome product and works as advertised and expected

Awesome product and works as advertised and expected. I have used them on multiple occasions at accident scenes that I have responded to - they have been driven over by vehicles of various sizes with no visible damage done to the units. I bought 2 sets as I found that 1 set of 3 is just not enough sometimes. I either stick them inside the traffic cones I have - they reflect through and have quite an attention grabbing effect, or I alternate them between cones on the road if I need to spread things out a bit more on the road. They need to just make that bag a tiny bit larger and 2 sets would fit nicely inside 1 bag...

These road "flares" are phenomenal! I ordered 6 because i sometimes pull a utility trailer with ATVs in there and the trailer can be a little more dark than a regular vehicle with all of its lighting (even though I added more lights to the sides and back). I wanted the 6 so I could trace the side line of both the car and the trailer for max safety especially if I had to change a tire on the trailer. The lights are very bright. With 9 settings its really nice to have some flares making one warning pattern and the others making one or more different warning patters. They are clearly well made and have solid durable coating. The magnet, though small, is powerful and works well. The white LED light on the top is bright and great for task lighting. I do wish the top LED light either had its own switch or could be more easily operated. Currently you have to function through all 9 presets to get to it. I do also wish the hanging hook on the back was a bit more sturdy. I could see it snapping when the plastic got cold and became less malleable. When you buy a set of 3 you get a carry bag with each set. However, I was very pleased to find that all 6 fit nicely (not too tight or too loose) into the one bag. This way the flares are easily transferable from car to car. However, given how much I like them, I am definitely getting 6 for my wife's car. The addition of providing batteries with each light is a testament to the product's and seller's thoughts into the entire conceptual design.

I bought a set of these for both my son and one for my daughter in law. The loved them so I bought one for me. They are great. They even flash SOS. So bright that they can be seen from a long ways off. My son & dil love going to the mountains on the weekends and I wanted something that people would be able to see on the curving mountain roads that they travel on if they ever break down. I found this disc to be extremely useful, well designed and long lasting

I found this disc to be extremely useful, well designed and long lasting. Flares are not always reliable and when they burn out, that's it. The other thing that always worries me is, especially, in a dry area there is always a risk of fire. In a situation where your car has a problem at night, it can be really nerve racking. It's reassuring to be able to have some control over the situation and to be able to rely on lights that will stay on and flash, wherever and in whatever condition. Cheap and durable, I love having these in the back of my car.
