I am 68 yrs. old now. I can remember when I was young what a treat to open my lunch box in grade school at lunch time and finding one of these in there. They were in paper bags then. Cherry was my favorite, the only problem if you could call it one is, as long as I can remember all their fruit pies were covered with a heavy sugar glaze making the super sweet!! Low and behold 50 years or so later they have got rid of that heavy glaze so the fruit favor really stands out. (OUTSTANDING and DELICIOUS) But check this out: 1963 $.12 Now $2.25 SAD HUH? Still the bomb! LOL

as expected

A bit expensive, but what do you expect? You ordered it online. The convenience is worth it to me. Product was fresh and as tasty as I recall, although there some sort of slightly bitter aftertaste. Not enough to prevent me from ordering in the future. BUY IT!!!!!

Awesome little pies

These pies are great tasting. Use to live in the Philly area and these are just as I remember. Only ate 1 of the 8 and I'm already reordering this

What I expected

Fresh product, delivered quick, haven’t had a Hostess Cherry Pie in what seems like forever, just ordered another box.

A senior gift!

I send these to my senior uncle in a senior living home. He loves getting these. I love sending them as well.
