Was a bit skeptical when I first opened box. Tried on two wires with the seals and was really impressed. Wire was held tight and best crimp onto the seal I have ever done. Shop has a crimp tool where each crimp is separate and I never could crimp seal on well. I now need to see if I can find a Deutsch crimp tool for this good of price

I had to do about 40 crimps on open barrel connectors for a fuse and relay box I was putting together. These worked great for wires 20 ga down to 12 ga. I would start the crimp on the wire with letter C, if it was a small wire, hit it with letter D. And then finish off the crimp on the insulation with letter A. It made very good professional crimps on all sizes. I think the terminals I had were a little big for the 20 ga wire, but the crimpers would still make a solid crimp. At work we have some weatherpak crimpers that crimp in one step and probably cost over a hundred dollars, these crimpers do the same job, but in 2 steps, for far less money for the weekend warrior.

The crimper works well, price was right and it arrived on time. I have only done about a dozen connectors so far, but no problems. I would buy from this seller again.

Makes perfect crimps. But there are no instructions so if you do not already know how to use this type of crimper you can make some bad crimps. Crimps are as good as the $750 crimper I used at work. Probably won't last as long but I don't use this every day.

Just WOW is all I can say , I purchased a few other crimper tools for $70+ and more and none crimp like this , I read a review on here stating the same about how well it worked I just had to try it, the crimp with green is a oem crimp and the blue is with this tool .

i used these to crimp pins into the weather pack connector for my victory magnum. i used it to integrate the Garmin Zumo 395lm into my bike. perfection!

These crimpers arrived today and I went out and did some test crimps. I meant to use these on bare regular crimp terminals as well as Molex Style DELPHI AMP TYCO Terminals. It does the bare regular crimp terminals reasonably well but you have to get used to it and how it works. With bare regular crimp terminals they have a split and that split needs to be dealt with properly if you are going to get a very tight crimp. The crimp section that is meant to fold the open Molex Style properly also does the same thing to the regular crimp terminals if you take the time and position the split the proper way. I wondered if this would work out, and it does. I have to use all the slots on this crimper except the smallest one but it works. The bare terminals I'm doing are smaller awg 18 - 22 size. The terminals are ELECALL IT-420 420pcs 18 in 1 Crimp Terminals bought here on amazon. I also have some Molex Style terminals that are from a relay panel that holds 5 Bosch 24v relays that plug in from the top. The Molex Style terminals slip in from the bottom and are held via small tabs that are bent out. This crimper worked on those but did have some problems with the wings on the open style terminal. I had to work it slowly until I could get those wings to behave and bend over in the center. Same thing for the outer part that grips the insulation, it worked but took some technique before it was properly crimped. I am going to finish these off with Eventronic 3:1 Heat Shrink Tubing bought here on amazon, the type with glue inside so it seals and once cooled holds very well. I do not know what type of terminals this crimper would "just work" on as in, grab, crimp, done. It does what I hoped it would do, crimp regular bare terminals, but with some careful "technique" applied. The wiring job I bought all this for is a 2006 Enco 14x40 industrial lathe. I am rewiring the entire thing from 3ph to use a VFD drive. The on, start, stop, forward and reverse, E-Stop and safety interlocks are all going to work as it did before I removed the entire electrical panel with old relays and transformer and replaced it all with the VFD drive and 5 Bosch 24v relays. This is the type of job that will be done once and has to be done in such a way so it will be reliable and last, perhaps longer then me. ~

Can't believe how many terminals I screwed up trying to use needle nose pliers lol. This will prevent so many headaches. Doesn't do both sides at once like some of the more expensive ones, but I don't use it often enough to justify paying more. Perfect for occasional use. Plenty of YouTube videos to explain how they work in general.

Perfect for correctly creating those pesky weather pack pin crimps, even has holder to properly connect sealing grommet. Ratcheting action makes the same quality crimp over and over. 3 different slots for the most common size automotive wires.

Purchased this to add to my electrical wiring tools. Doing a lot of Metri Pack 150 terminals in the 18 to 20 range and this tool made it a lot smoother. Crimp the terminal, crimp the seal and done. Great price for what it does.
