Works Great, Small & Compact

I bought this to expand my ability to hook up USB 2.0 or 3.0 items to my new MacBook Pro computer. It works great! I've been able to hook my printer and a flash drive onto the hub. Occasionally I do see a message about not properly shutting down the flash drive, because I think the connection onto the computer gets knocked, which disconnects the flash drive without placing it in the trash to disconnect. But so far that has not harmed anything. It's really small, but serves my needs perfectly.

Space gret Lention USB-C converter - cool and works well

I got this for my new 2018 Macbook Pro. I really like that it's space grey so perfectly matches. The multiple ports seem to be spaced well and provide good options since Apple only puts USB-C's on their computers now. This looks really nice, and worked well with the USB 3.0 I used the other day - it's priced much lower than others, and seems great.

Excellent Hub for adding additional ports to your USB-C-capable device!

I was more than disappointed with the MacBook Pro (Late 2016) only having USB-C ports, but this little trinket more than makes up for that port deficiency. Hardly takes up any space in my bag and data transfer rates are good.

With the new MacBook/Pro you're going to need something like this as you transition over every device and cable to USB-C which will take years, in all honesty. My only criticism so far is that the cable is actually too long for how I use it, I would be happy with something 1/3-1/2 the length. It's better than having a bunch of single USB to USB-C adapters that can take up your ports.

Owned for two months... Love it!

I am using this device to expand my USB inputs along with mSD card and SD cards on my gaming laptop. Nothing really to complain about. It has been serving its purpose without issues since day one. As of late Jan 2019 the device began to malfunction. It would reset itself (unplug/connect) without being physically touched at random times. In some cases it would not stop. I removed the drivers on my laptop, re installed them properly having the same issue. I reached out to Lention and went through process. They shipped me a replacement. Now I am very happy I have a working device once again.

This is a great product.

I noticed that most of these type of adapter are overpriced and after giving this USB-C a try, I am glad I did and saved some money on the way. I did have a problem with wifi 2.4Ghz internet when using this on my laptop. The seller suggested that I change my router to 5Ghz which I did and the problem was fixed. Now it works perfectly.

Easy to use and it works great.

I bought this to use it with my MacBook Air. It worked perfectly, so far, so good. It was recognized immediately, no further installation necessary, just plugged in and ready to use.

Worked the first time

I had previously ordered a different usb hub that would not stay in the only slot on my MacBook, but this one lit up and attached securely. When I attached my cd rom to this hub the light came on and the door opened. The MacBook played my cd showing all the controls, great volume and picture. So far I am pleased. Some other reviews indicated problems after having it awhile so this is an initial assessment.

Great product, reasonably priced, 5 Stars

Really like this product - worked like a champ on my MacBook Pro 2016 (13.3", no TouchBar). Plug and play the first time. Note that the microSD cards need to be inserted inverted - upside down - the regular SD cards right-side up. The USB ports so far work great and I love the blue LED light that shows the device has power and is ready to roll. Very good product Lention.

Handy, portable USB-C hub!

This USB-C hub extension is perfect! I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro with a touchbar. I was baffled at the fact that there were no USB ports or even an SD card reader, since I was so used to my older MacBook having them. At the Apple Store they told me I could purchase a USB-C adapter for $65 - it only came with one USB connection, HDMI and another USB-C port. Um, no thank you. I thought that was absolutely ridiculous and decided to go without one, because I knew Amazon had to have a better price and product. Low and behold, this was the product with a better price! I LOVE that it comes with THREE USB ports and a card reader. It's exactly what I need and the price is wonderful! It's compact as well, so it fits perfectly in my laptop bag. If you purchased a new Apple laptop, I would definitely buy this!!
