Be VERY careful

Update: couldn’t be happier with customer service. They sent out a new table that got here two days earlier than they said and, being aware of the bolt issue this time, I now have a great coffee table. Very happy. Just be sure to use washers or only tighten the bolts for the table top enough to hold it in place without going through the surface. Old review: Mostly looks good and seems sturdy, but the bolts to attach the table top are too long and cracked through in four places. It would look great but the cracked spots from the bolts make it look like cheap crap in the one spot people see most.

Quality overshadows the cost.

I am that person who thinks about something for a while before just jumping in. When I finally decided on the look of a coffee table, I knew this was the one when I saw it. Extremely sturdy. Beautiful natural stain looking top. Shipping was fast and arrived unharmed. Easy assembly that can be done by one person. Still on the hunt for a couch and other pieces but this is a great start. Can’t beat the price either. Don’t be fooled by this inexpensive coffee table. Highly recommend this quality product.

I have to say, I had some pretty modest expectations for this product. I was using a leather storage bench with a wooden tray on top of it as a coffee table but ain’t nobody got time for that. When I saw this product I was actually pretty attracted to the look (kind of a modern industrial, very simplistic, good proportions, neat lines) and the price was right. I’m in the military and I move around; I’m not concerned with something that isn’t heirloom quality because I know it might get messed up in the next move. Anyhow, the construction is quite sturdy and I was impressed with the accuracy of the fasteners and holes. Normally if you buy a cheaper piece of flat pack furniture, it’s not at all guaranteed that the pieces will fit together smoothly. Assembly took around 10 minutes and moved along a lot faster once two legs were attached (provides better clearance for the hex key to spin freely). The storage space underneath is great, and can easily accommodate a set of drawers if desired. Looks like someone out there is using it as a convenient bulldog storage. The only thing I don’t like about this that might get incorporated into future models would be an selectable height for the storage grill underneath...robot vacuum owners out there, raise your hands if your furniture selection considerations include whether or not your robomaid will fit underneath it.

Beautiful coffee table and GREAT customer service

I bought the coffee table because the design looked beautiful. When the table arrived it was a damaged and I’ve got a little disappointed. When Songmics heard about my issue they reached me out shortly to solve the problem! Ive got a new table in perfect condition! Really happy with the table and overall custumer service! Really recommend!

Durability Risk

As I removed the table from the box and began installing, I noticed two of the screws (pre-installed) fell out from the faux wood table to the frame it's mounted on. Then I noticed all the pre-installed screws were loose, no big deal.... I proceeded to screw them in tighter, but most of the screws loosely tightened whereas two screws would not catch in at all. I question the durability if all the other screws are just loosely attached, I can go out and buy longer screws but it's just a real annoyance, considering just return for refund. **UPDATED I was pleasantly surprised by contact from customer service, they were very friendly and offered me a replacement. The replacement arrived in a matter of days and I can happily say the build is much better on this one. I'm guessing the first one must have just been an isolated defect. It is in my office and I am loving it.

It is in perfect condition!

After I purchased I read some more of the negative reviews and noticed a lot of people had problems with scratches or assembly issues with screws and I was very concerned. When it arrived I got it out and checked thoroughly and to my surprise I found absolutely nothing wrong with it! Also when putting it together there were no problems putting the screws in or any falling out. It seems pretty sturdy although the top is a bit unstable when my two year old sat on it (duh) but if you don’t have anything extraordinarily heavy then it is perfect. Probably not a good idea to put a heavy tv on it but obviously that’s not what coffee tables are generally used for so you should be fine! Definitely worth the money!

Love it, exactly as described.

This table is awesome, I love it. It is great quality for the price. I put it together in 20 minutes by myself, totally easy assembly. Of course it is a faux finish, but it is very cool looking and I think it is done rather successfully. Bought it for my shop, can’t beat the style for the price. Came without damage in perfect condition.

quick assembly, quality table, cool look

I was very hesitant to make a purchase based off of the price. It's not very often you can get a high-end look and feel from a table less than $100. After reading all the reviews, my hesitation was increased with potential issues in shipping and handling care as well as overall packaging of the product. As of now, I have absolutely zero complaints. I needed a small table for the waiting room I was creating in the gym. It is a smaller room that was being wasted before. A table and chairs were the only possible way to go. Wanted something black or darker with metal and this table visually fit the bill. The size is also perfect. When I set it up, I had it in my house and it would fit there as well. First of all, the delivery was on time. The packaging very well done. The main box that everything came in was intact and sealed perfectly. Upon opening the box, each individual piece was wrapped again. All the parts that were needed for assembly were there. Directions are super simple to follow. Only time will tell and how this table holds up, but for my purpose and application, this table is a great buy. It is aesthetically and functionally perfect.
