We used to write up our kitchen checks and then ring up customers via Square. Now we can do both with a click of a button. It has streamlined our restaurant in so many ways. The initial set up is a pain, but once you get it working, it's amazing!

Great printer for UBER Eats and Grubhub

This is the printer to get if you are using UBER Eats and Grubhub for your restaurant. Easy to set up on the network and was recognized by both the Grubhub and UBER Eats tablets for printing the order slips. Good image quality and prints quickly. Keep in mind this printer uses thermal paper not bond paper like a a kitchen printer so you'll need to keep the slips away from heat.

Great product

I bought this to print orders with UberEats. It’s great and does its job. I bought the Bluetooth printer so it connected the way it’s supposed to, so now I’m printing receipts from the tablet! Would recommend to anyone in need of a receipt printer.

Very Useful and Works Well

Got this so I could print receipts for my customers paying in person with a card, chip or smartphone. I use PayPal Now with an Android tablet and PayPal card reader. The printer was easy to set up and works very well. The only thing I have not been able to do is print my company logo at the top of the slip. However, the company name, address, phone number, and email prints. I think this is a function, and thus a problem of PayPal, not the printer. So I'm not blaming the printer at all. However, it would be nice to have my logo on the receipt and the ability to print a coupon or something too.

Perfect wireless solution for new POS systems!

I bought this printer when I converted my business to Square. It is awesome! Now my servers can take a small tablet to the tables, place the order and press "PRINT" and the ticket prints in the kitchen without the server needing to drop it off. Saves a lot of time and effort, especially when it's busy!

Works great with Uber Eats and GrubHub tablets in a restaurant

This is a great printer that works well with no issues. The main advantage for those of you looking for a printer that is compatible with both User Eats and GrubHub apps/tablets in a restaurant setup, this is the one. I wanted to thank you another reviewer who mention about such compatibility, because it is not obvious that this printer is compatible using only recommendations from Uber/GrubHub. For example, Uber only claims compatibility with a Bluetooth model, but not with the Ethernet one (this one). Regardless, this printer works really well with Uber -- as a matter of fact potentially better than the Bluetooth model because there is no wireless/Bluetooth connection involved. Definitely recommended for such restaurant setup.

i was looking for a printer for uber tablet online but i did not found any good reviews about any of them. so we decided to purchase these one to try it out and wow it does works very nice. easy set up and everything. good luck

EASY for use as an UberEats printer

Bought this for a friend of mine that has a restaurant. He was tired of HAND WRITING his UberEats orders that came across the Uber device. I got him this printer... super easy to set up. Super easy to use. Star is a great brand with long history of reliability. Lives up to it!

Best investment ever

I’m not sure why there are so many mixed up reviews and answers to the questions. I have two iPad without a square stand. This easily connected to my cash drawer and WiFi router. BOTH iPads are connected to the receipt printer and BOTH can print at the same time as well as open up my cash drawer. The receipt are thick enough to read and make orders off of and the font size is nice. If you take orders with your iPad but do not have a square stand and need a printer that will connect to multiply iPads this is what you are looking for!!

Clean, crisp,dependable. A must have!

Superb quality and ease of use. Can link to multiple devices allowing you to print from different devices/stations. Been using only for a few months, but the quality is easily appreciated. Prints very clearly, and perforates the paper as well. A must have !! Bought a 2nd one for other location.. if anyone out there is having issues with connectivity over wifi, especially using the square App and specifically In cases where you get frequent disconnects (printer doesn’t show up or respond in app) every time you reopen the app or awaken the device; you will benefit from using a quality brand router. Doesn’t have to be dual band because the WiFi version of this printer only supports 2.4 ghz. I Struggled with daily disconnects and failures to reconnect. After trying different channels and all manner of configurations I ditched the crappy modem/router provided from isp and switched back to my Motorola and viola! Running perfect ever since.
