After installing , in 3rd day . the camera just fall down breaking my dash clock . however the camera didn't had a single scratch .

Great all-around dashboard camera [Updated 1/24/2018]
Update 1/24/2018 A courteous Rexing staff member made all effort to work with me on making things right. The company's effort and personal touch in providing exemplary customer service in ensuring that its customers are 100% satisfied has earned my respect and future business. It is understandable that any electronics manufactured will have their flaws no matter how much R&D the company put into it. I truly believe Rexing and its employees recognize that and are making every effort in building quality products and more importantly building customer relation. I will give this product another go and provide my update on its performance over time, but so far the new V1LG has exceeded my expectations. Original review: The unit started to act up, not recording. Error message overrun on the screen because the message is too long to be displayed. The memory card that came with the unit is really worthless and would not work after reformatting due to "Custer size" error. I would not buy again.

Best Dashcom option for dual camera and GPS
I will start by mentioning that Rexing offers a $10 rebate for joining their review club, including writing an honest review. That said, while I appreciate the perk I can assure you that it does not affect my review or the 5 stars I give this product. You don't buy a premium item that is twice the cost of bargain items and then push a review for a fraction of the difference (and you should never buy a product based on number of reviews but rather quality of content in the reviews). I bought the item and am reviewing accordingly because I am pleased with it, and these are the reasons why. First off, video resolution is excellent. I upgraded from a $70 CiBest product (no longer available) which had similar features, but was definitely lower quality. Rexing video quality is exponentially better (I set at 1440x1080), even in bright or low light situations. I can make out license plates clearly which I could only do with standing cars with the old system. Also video feeds are more reliable, other systems keep giving me corrupt files and dropped frames, this records steady and continuously. I can use their downloadable player, or the free Registrationviewer, Both camera feeds have embedded GPS data so I can review front and rear camera with full GPS placement, no one else includes this detail. And speaking of GPS, the biggest selling point is that the head unit has the GPS built in, no need for an external antenna (one less set of wires to shove into weather stripping). GPS responds fast and accurately. Only two cables need to be run, power and rear camera. For power I strongly recommend getting the direct wire kit ($9), let's you connect to an open spot in your fusebox rather than the cigarette lighter. And a really nice feature about the rear camera is that it uses a standard usb cable, not some proprietary plug, making it easier to replace if needed. With all cables properly hidden behind weatherstripping you cannot even tell the dashcam is in the car. The V1LG only comes with adhesive mounts, no suction cup option. This concerned me at first, until I remembered that my old suction cup mount would fall off every day greater than 90F. I have no issues using the adhesive mount (same thing I use on my EZpass), although would be nice if they included a couple extra adhesive pads. I keep my main camera tucked in front of my rear mirror, I can lean over to see the screen but really I just want it out of my line of site. The SD does seem to get hot while operating but does not affect performance. Mine came with an included 16gb sd card, however that card turned out to be defective. I emailed Rexing and they mailed a replacement immediately (although I've since upgraded to a 64gb card, make sure you get top speed, camera will warn you if card is too slow). Good customer service, I'd give them a 6th star just for that. Also registering the device gives you an extra 3 months warranty, always nice to have. Overall, top quality product, built in GPS, front and rear camera, good customer support, well worth the price point.

Nice System
Love it so far, just a couple of installation tips. Make sure you don't mount the main camera too close to the headliner otherwise you will not be able to slide the camera up off the mount. I was able to remove the camera with a lot of effort and luckily didn't break the mount or the camera. I then had to remove the glued mounting pad with a hair drier to soften it. I remounted the camera with Scotch 10Lb Velcro similar to what you use to mount your IPass or EZ Pass to the windshield. The glue pad is bright white so it was very visible even behind the windshield tint so it ended up working out for me that I had to remove it. They definitely need to make the glue pad black. The rear camera slides horizontally so there was no spacing issues. If you have rear window defroster lines pay attention to the spacing of the camera. I had the shadow of the grid line in the camera image. It was just a matter of adjusting the camera lens so that it was between the two grid lines. The tool that they provided for hiding the wires behind the molding and roof liner is fantastic. I purchased two right angle micro USB extension wires to tidy up the wiring. Other than that I haven't had any issues with the cameras.

This dash cam saved me $9,875.00 and netted me $1,500.00
This dash cam was purchased on May 18, 2018, delivered May 22, 2018 and installed May 27, 2018 and by July 10, 2018 saved me $9,8750.00, and this wasn’t even due to an accident or insurance fraud!!!! Let me digress a bit. My wife’s ex-husband has been a handful for us for more than 10 years in family court. In October of 2016 he claimed that I punched him in the nose, and I was charged with criminal battery. Unfortunately I didn’t have a video camera outside at that point. But I do now! However, at the criminal trial the Judge found that he just wasn’t creditable witness, because in the 5 months since his claim of battery, his story had changed 3 times, and was even more outrageous while on the witness stand. Because of that, I was found not guilty of battery. Because of this her ex was really wound up, and decided that he should sue me in small claims court. $9,000.00 for pain and suffering and $875.00 for a tooth that was supposedly knocked out. Now he filed his lawsuit in small claims court, and then took the paperwork to the sheriff for service. The sheriff came to my house 3 separate times in 10 days while I was out of town on business, and no one was at home to accept service. Because of that, the sheriff returned it to him to serve on me. So this aggravated him even more. So, in about January 2018 he tried to give the lawsuit paperwork to his ex-wife personally during a custody exchange. She refused it as he isn’t allowed to serve it himself, and was videotaping the entire incident with her cell phone. The wife’s ex then went ahead and filed a proof of service document with the court, and we filed a motion to dismiss due to improper service and while it wasn’t granted, her Ex was informed it was not proper service (based on the cell phone video) and filing the document stating service was done was against the court rules and he could be held liable for it. However, he was not held liable this time, and the court told him to serve the summons properly . So roll forward to June 25th 2018, and once again, during a custody exchange outside of a police station, a strange female walked up to the front of the vehicle, lifted the passenger side windshield wiper and slipped a folded document under it and then walked back to my wife’s ex-husband’s vehicle and got inside of it. It was paperwork for the small claims court case. 10 days later, her ex again filed a proof of service in court for the summons, 3 judicial days before the hearing. I promptly went to the courthouse, got the proof of service document, and it stated that his ex-wife had been personally served at our home address and at 5:55PM June 25, 2018. During the next 2 days I typed up a motion to dismiss the motion again, based on failure to serve the summons properly, but this time, I had a crystal clear video showing my wife pulling up in front of the police station with the time and date stamp, GPS co-ordinates and. As well as a still pulled from the video of the lady slipping the paperwork under the wiper blade in a parking lot at 5:54 PM. . This time there wasn’t a warning for the wife’s ex-husband. His small court motion was dismissed with prejudice (Meaning it cannot ever be filed again) saving me $9,8750.00 and because this was the 2nd time he pulled this stunt, the judge found him guilty of violating our court regulations on filing paperwork in a case, and sanctioned him $1,500.00 to be paid to me in no more than 30 days or he will be held in contempt of court and jailed for 30 days. So, that is how this dash cam saved me $9,875.00 and netted me $1,500.00 Now, as far as the dash cam itself, it is very high quality, and the video it takes is crystal clear. It has an excellent field of view on both the front and rear facing camera's. I suggest that one downloads the GPS Player just in case you need to prove your location if anything happens. I did have a problem with the original memory card failing within the first few minutes of using it, but an email to support resolved that issue in less than 72 hours as they shipped me a new one out right away, along with a pre-paid label to send the bad memory card back to them. One caveat to buying a dash cam that uses adhesive double sided foam tape to mount. If you live in a very hot climate, (We live in Southern Nevada where our average summer daytime temps regularly exceeds 105 degrees) would be to look at purchasing a 4” x 8” sheet of 3M Very High Bond double sided foam tape, and using it in place of the tape that comes with this dash cam. I have co-workers that have dash cams and many of them would come “un taped” and fall off the windows during the very hot days of summer, until they used the 3M VHB double sided foam tape. Using the 3M tape our camera has not lost its adhesion to the windows, and we have had internal car temps of over 120 degrees for the past 40 days. OK, time for an update (11-23-18) So, using the 3M tape we bought the camera's have not become unattached from the windows through the entire summer. We have since purchased another camera (With the proceeds from the Ex Husband's sanction payments) and have it now installed in our other vehicle. It has been working flawlessly since Early August. Fortunately for us, we haven't had a need to pull any video off of either camera. I did a fun thing with my step daughter using the camera. We purchased a very large memory card, and on our summer vacation (With additional funding provided by the Ex Husband's sanction payment, and just want him to know the kids say thanks for all the extra keepsakes from the trip) and drove from Southern Nevada to Southern California. After each day of travel (this was a 7 day trip) her and I would offload the video from the card, and store it. When we got back to Southern Nevada, she took all the files, stitched the video together, manipulated it and created a 10 minute video of our travel through our entire trip, with a few stills thrown in here and there from the places we went. It was very funny to watch our 4 hour drive from Nevada to California occur in less than 90 seconds! One moment we're outside Disneyland, 5 seconds later we are in Newport Beach (If ONLY it was a 5 second drive!) So all in all we have been very thankful for the camera, and have used it for things it wasn't ever really designed for, and hope that we never do need to use it for what it is designed for.

The other party's insurer settled for 100% and my own insurer wrote me that I was 100% exonerated from fault.

Excellent Dash Camera
I purchased this camera set up as a Christmas gift for my husband. After a lot of research and reading reviews I decided on the Rexing for all of the features etc. I am glad I did. The installation was quick and easy (according to my husband). The video quality is better than I expected, the night vision is beyond what I expected. You can playback video right on the device or play back via the software on your computer. Has audio if you want it or you can turn it off. My husband was pretty impressed with the software playback. The resolution on the rear camera is not as good as the front camera but I did know this when I purchased it. If you want to have high quality rear view than I would just buy two front cameras instead. I do highly recommend that you spend the extra few dollars and get the gps logger. I hope he never needs it but I think it will be an added layer of protection in case of an accident with details in dispute. It also showed him how fast he was driving around everywhere....lol

light weight and easy to mount and use
For the last 10 years i have driven a company fuel truck with a dash-cam and have realized the benefits of having a camera to record everything going on in front of me, it can be a training tool for safe driving as welll as catching other road users. I have just changed jobs and my new truck did not have a dash-cam, so I have done extensive research as to which camera to buy and chose the Rexing V1LG . I chose this for several reasons 1 the 170 degree view and 2 the rear camera and the easy mount and removal .the continued loop recording and other features i look forward to using I have only used it a couple of days but already a big fan of this dash-cam

Great Dash Cam!!
You never know when something like this will come in handy given today's litigious society so it’s best to be protected. This is a great camera and extremely easy to set-up. It took me more time to run the line then it did to update and set the camera itself. I wanted the line completely hidden and connected to a lighter outlet that was tied to the ignition and the only one on the newer Grand Cherokee is inside the dash console near the media center. Drilling a small hole to run the line this was easy accomplished. The picture on the camera itself is good and gives you a reminder of placement and what it’s capturing, and I specifically chose this camera for that feature as well the GPS recording which is an absolute must if you ever have to submit the footage to a court. The GPS player that you download to view on the computer is great as well, tons of data provided and the picture is great! Overall, excellent dash cam and will be getting a second for my wife’s car and will always have one from now on. Update: 09/26/18 - I've used this for almost 10 months and it's survived in the hot Florida summer without one issue. As the season's change you have to double check the exposure and make adjustments but really that's the only thing I've had to do for it. This dash cam has truly come in handy as it's captured a hit and run and a few traffic accidents that I gave the footage to the police to help out and they were very appreciative. Overall great camera with no issues!!

Great dash cam and now I am protected from false report by other drivers
I got hit from behind and the lady keep saying it's my fault. Therefore, I decided to get a dash cam to show proofs when other driver said it's my fault in the case of a car accident. With this rexing V1LG dual channel car dash cam, now i am safe from front and back. It's easy to mount with easy dash cam attach & detach mechanism and easy to navigate menu. Also, I like it has loop recording if my memory running out of space. Another feature I like it a lot is the GPS that update time and date automatic since most of time when the dash cam shut off and the time and date need to setup again which it's wasting time. It's very important to have the right time and date when you need to show proof of a car ccident. Overall, I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.
