Compact, small but mighty

I am using these for my motorcycle. I rented a U haul trailer and they also try to sell you "straps". Figured I would just purchase my own. They are "perfect" for a 650 pound bike and a short haul. I would not recommend them for anything bigger than my cruiser or extended journeys.....the straps are pretty strong but width wise are pretty narrow. Still Good piece of equipment.

Good buy for price.

I bought these to better secure my RV cover through our tough winter. They are good enough for occasional use and I trust them to hold for months without further attention. I would not want to use them when I had to make frequent changes and adjustments. Mechanisms are typical but not as easy to use as those that cost more.

The straps themselves are great. In the process of moving and needed something reasonably priced I a timely manner. After doing some research these seemed the best choice. They are fantastic! The only downside was there was an issue with shipping the correct product and received bungee cords instead of straps. Shortly after receiving the cords I contacted customer service and they rushed me the correct product. They let me keep the cords as well so got 2 great products for the price of one. Definitely would buy again!

ordered 3 sets of ratchet straps and accidentally received bungee cords instead. these things happen at times. once the folks at fortem found out, they were very apologetic and promptly sent me what i had ordered and went above and beyond to make sure i was satisfied. and satisfied i was- great product, well made, easy to use, very sturdy and of course a great color! With a company like this that stands behind their product and devotes itself to the satisfaction of its customers, will definitely order again soon!

Great color, seem really sturdy!

Love the bright green color on these straps. Perfect for my kayak that hangs so far over on top of my car. With the bright orange kayak and the BRIGHT green straps, no one should bump into me! Nice rubber coated hooks sit well against the car without worry of scratching. With a 500 lb load strength, you can't go wrong with these straps for most of your strapping needs. I haven't contacted the seller because everything's perfect, but I have a feeling if I did, they'd be very responsive. Just a feeling! A+ buying experience. I would recommend this product!

Easy to use and

I had to view a YouTube video to understand how to release the cable but once I watched the video it was very easy. Need to add a link to video of how to use. Other than that. I suck at tying and this solved my kayak travel issues.

Solid and strong .. Fine quality.

These worked fine for my project (of anchoring my hot water heater in order to remove the anode rod which requires high torque). I found a small amount of lubrication was needed to allow them to readily reverse (when in the 180 degree position), but they are solid and strong. Hooks are solid; vinyl coating is well done; ratchet mechanism works well, nothing is plastic. The two additional short straps helped also.

Incredible value and they come in a handy zipper bag to boot! I bought this set for my truck but am considering buying another set for our Escape and one for our Kia - because you never know when they might come in handy! We had a 4'x8' dog house losing it's framework and were able to cinch it back together tightly and make repairs using these straps - never could have done it without them. Thanks!

Nice set of straps

Nice set of straps. Carry case is a nice touch too. If registered with them upon receipt, their warranty is extended to lifetime as well. The company took the time to reach out to me and personally thank me for my order and remind me of this warranty. This process was very simple too. Provided name, email, and Amazon order number on a one-page form. No hoops. Just ordered some automobile window shades from them to try.

Nice Tie-Down Set for a Good Price

My husband thought that I should have gone to Harbor Freight to buy these cheaper. I disagree. I was specifically looking for the plastic-covered parts so that they wouldn't rust and become hard to operate. Nice kit. Handy zippered bag to keep them all together under the back seat of my truck.
