Bought this on price and brand name
My 99 Plymouth mini van had a brake light fail. I dug out a collection of 1057 bulbs and took the lens off...opps! The 1057 would have been right 10 years before, but not in 99 (which was 20 years ago f'gosh sakes!) I turned to Amazon to see what they had. Bosch, 2-fer about what I expected to pay for 1 at the local parts places. Sold. Bought enough to have some "in stock" next time a 20-year old bulb goes out. Next day shipping was a pleasant and welcome surprise!

Bright, works well so far
These are nice bright bulbs and they fit snugly. I will update my review in terms of longevity. Installed in a 2007 Honda CR-V. Like other Bosch bulbs, the package does not offer a lot of protection, but the bulbs work fine. Very good price and Prime shipping. So these look very similar to the 7440. The difference is that these have two filaments, not one. On my car, this means that for the braking light the are "on" when the lights are on, and brighten when you depress the brake.

Saved hundreds and works great.
The dealer wanted over three hundred dollars to replace the bulb in my wife's '13 Rogue. This item and a few minutes watching how-to videos on YouTube saved me over two hundred and fifty dollars. The color is almost spot on compared to the factory bulb and it is just as bright. I waited a couple weeks to write this review to make sure it wouldn't burn out but it is still working great.

Do it yourself brake light fixes on the cheap
Had some bulbs in my third brake light start to burn out, so I got these. They just slot into the socket like putting a plug in a wall outlet. May want to check out a YouTube video of how to get into your car's brake light assembly if that's why you want these bulbs, to see if it's worth the hassle to you. ProTip - wear rubber gloves when handling the bulbs - getting oils from your hands onto the glass can cause early degradation of the bulbs. RATINGS GUIDE - 5 star - Item flawlessly performs its job and/or is a unstoppable great value. Buy it now! 4 star - Item does its job pretty good and/or is a reasonable value 3 star - Item does its job as expected and/or costs about average 2 star - Item leaves something to be desired 1 star - AVOID ITEM AT ALL COSTS

Works fine for 2010 Mazda3 License Plate lights
They work fine for the license plate bulb replacement on a 2010 Mazda 3. Car workshop tried to charge me ten bucks for it (just one bulb out of the two needed replacing), but got two bulbs here for half the price and replaced them my self. Replacing the bulb was easy (once I watched an online video on how to do it), it's just understanding where the light assembly 'snaps-into'. Took only few minutes. Specs on the back says these are 12v/4w and these are supposed to be Long Lasting (usually that also means slightly less bright. But in my case I don't see any visible difference between the two sides of license plate lights)

Mazda 3 Rear Taillight. Perfect fit. Great price!
My rear taillight went out so I headed over to advance auto and was checking out there large selection of bulbs. I then curiously went on Amazon and found that the bulbs were like $2-3 cheaper (I honestly should've just done this to begin with). So I just ordered on here and had them come to me. So far so good. Seems to be about the same quality as OEM bulbs.

Note the old bulb orientation before installing
On my car, this bulb can be inserted in the socket in either direction. Be sure to note which way the original bulb was installed and do the same. The two filaments inside the bulb are not the same so direction matters. Good thing these bulbs are sold in pairs. When one goes out, the other isn't far behind. I had to replace one burnt bulb and also saw that the other bulb was heavily discolored.

Replaces main brake lights in 2000 Toyota 4Runner
My husband informed me that the left brake light had burnt out in my 3rd generation 4Runner. I did some research online to find which bulbs would be needed to replace it and came across these 7443's. I chose the Long Life version just to increase the time between needing to change them again. I made the decision to purchase the bulb online to save nearly 45% off what it would cost if I went to an auto parts store. They arrived very quickly, the postal service even delivered them to me on Memorial Day holiday! Replacement was easy and I did it myself on the first try with no problems. They work great, I'm happy and hope they will indeed last long. Will update this review if anything changes or it burns out sooner than expected.

Doesn't fit 2000 Mercedes CLK
Bulbs are exactly as described but the Amazon fitment guide is wrong. Doesn't fit my 2000 CLK430 but it says it does. Before ordering, look at your old bulbs. Look at the mounting tabs on the base of the bulb. If your old bulb has the mounting tabs 180 degrees across from each other, these will not work. I gave the bulbs 5 stars because the bulbs are exactly as described, not their fault the fitment guide from Amazon is wrong.

Solid choice if you plan on driving your vehicle until it explodes
This bulb worked perfectly. I plan on having the vehicle until it explodes into a pile of garbage... so here we are. Buying “Long Life” bulbs.
