My vintage turntable is always about .25 grams off. I don't fault the table--it's just one of those things that was OK in the 1970s. But we know better now. You cannot run a turntable in 2019 without this. It is a necessity, not a luxury. Get it!.

Looking for the perfect sound from your cartridge? Then you gotta have that tonearm properly balanced, dudes and dudettes. Otherwise you're just playing muddled, untrue sound. Anyway, this little scale is very sensitive- and will give you a true reading according to your cartridge manufacturer's specifications. Recommended.

Very nice tool to have to ensure that tracking force is set correctly. Good to have a direct measurement of tracking force rather than an estimated one based on twisting and turning a weight on the back end of the tone arm.

Love everything about this, ordered it for a friend who repairs and sets up vintage turntables. He broke it out and dialed in my Denon fully automatic Turntable in about 3 minutes. Fast shipping and a really necessary product. My Denon was over 1/2 gram off.

Nice little gague for dialing in the recommended pressure of your stylus. Important to getting the best quality audio from your turntable. Too heavy, and your going to damage the grooves in your vynil. Too light, and your going to get skipping. Super easy to use.

polarity marking to position the batteries are missing but look at the pictures on this listing and could see the battery polarity. + up, - is down. The company was very responsive to a request and immediately sent me a new unit. Unit works very accurately. Great value.

It works. It's a pretty simple product. Measures the tracking force accurately. I first calibrated with the 5g weight they provided and then tested it on my technics 1200with the auto-zero feature that was set to 2g - the meter read 1.99 g. I'm happy with it.

I love this product. It’s just that simple. You turn it on, drop the stylus on the spot and you get a nice bright readout of the stylus down force.

This Gauge works well with both my AT LP 120's. One more improvement to adjusting getting the exact tracking weight to ANY tone arm.

I bought this to make sure that the dial on the turntable is correct. It turns out that the dial is way off and you could be damaging your record if the weight on the stylus is incorrect. This is a great device to make sure you are running the correct weight and not ruining your records.
