Unbeatable for the price

I cook a lot and have used a wide array of silicone, Kevlar, and natural fiber-filled cooking mitts and mats. I just finished burning my hands with my last set when I saw this set and the reviews and decided to give them a try. Simply stated, they work. I can hold onto a hot pan longer than I could with my $50 Kevlar gloves. They clean up well in the washing machine, are attractive to hang in the kitchen and I feel would make a great gift. I have had these for several months now and they look as good as the day I received them.

Was a great gift

I got these for my brother because he was in desperate need for new mitts and he is a bigger built guy and they fit his man hands perfectly, but yet still fit my petite hands comfortably when I used them. I couldn't feel heat at all through them and the strips on them for grip was nice. Definitely a great gift.

Mitts of quality

I wish I had bought these sooner. They are really thick. Feels of quality made. With fall An Holidays right around the corner. I love to cook and bake An these will come in handy. Right now they work the best on the grill with flipping steak I don't have to worry about burning my hand or arm on the flare up. Turning burgers and Hot dogs is now a breeze. These mits are a cooks essential. I liked these so much I bought a second pair.

So comfortable and make grabbing pans easier

I was very impressed with the quality! It grips very very well when grabbing hot pans out of the oven , like I mean so grippy it feels like I could stick them to the wall. Its thick durable fabric with the rubbery gripping stuff kind of zebra lined around the whole Mitts. The square holders are lined on one side but have stitching down the middle on the inside for better grip , they are like a square oven mitt . So thankful I bought these will defenitly buy more and recommend highly!

The best oven mitts I've ever had

The best oven mitts I've ever had. The "hand" part is washable! You can walk right over to the sink while cooking and clean off any mess that got on it! That's super convenient! Highly recommended! O, and they're protective to the highest degree available. Awesome mitts!

Great - but for small hands!

These are great. Not too bulky but protects you from the heat. I have very small hands and they fit me well- not for people with large hands. I love it because my hands are usually swimming in oven mitts, so I think they're amazing. Someone else would probably hate them.

Great gloves with great grip!

These mitts are fantastic - they really stick to whatever you're holding so you don't drop any cookie sheets or baking sheets, which I have done plenty of times with other gloves. They protect your hands and lower forearm from high heat, but I'm not sure exactly how well they perform in comparison to other mitts- I feel very comfortable holding these while baking something at 450 degrees, but after about 10 seconds I can start to feel the heat. The potholders are a nice addition, but I haven't used them much. They are too small to put a large baking sheet under but they would be great for a small casserole dish or you can put both together for something bigger.

Amazing

Who cares what kind of pot holder you buy? I asked moving into my first apartment. It turns out I do. Because after a while of using my cheap mitts I wore them down without knowing. A hole on a fingertip of one I found in Thanksgiving. Thin material on another discovered making meatloaf. After the 5th burn I had had enough and came prowling through Amazon. I found this set on sale and bought it immediately. I love the crap out of these mitts. They're comfortable to wear and the inner material actually feels NICE and not like 10 year old felt dragged through the field. The material is sturdy and I have yet to even feel the slightest bit of warmth through them. No longer do I fear my dinner

Look very sturdy but are way too big for my hands

I give these 3 stars simply because they were too huge and heavy for me to use. I didn't return them as it would have cost nearly as much as the purchase price. Am writing this simply to say that a small woman with small to medium size hands might want to consider carefully before deciding to buy these. UPDATE: In response to the two comments. I simply ordered them as a Prime member like I always do. In the past few years, I've begun to order practically everything here as it's so easy. Usually it costs me nothing to return an item, but this time it was going to cost $6 plus - I presume because there was no actual fault on the Seller's part, and the gloves ARE quite heavy. I just decided to keep the gloves and give them away to someone. I should have come back on here and reported to everyone that the Seller contacted me a few days after my post here and offered to send me a smaller, lighter version similar to these gloves for free and to allow me to keep the original set as well. I think they even offered to reimburse the original purchase price as well. You really can't beat that for customer service, but it just felt wrong to me to get two sets of gloves for free when I should have just read the product description more thoroughly before buying (such as the weight). In addition, I had already bought an old-fashioned padded cloth set as a replacement. Thank you to the Seller for your offers, and really the gloves look like they would be quite sturdy. I'm going to go ahead and change my review to a 5 because of the Seller's offer to make me a very happy buyer and because I actually know nothing bad about the gloves except that they were too big and heavy for my personal taste.

Quality oven mits

Good quality, durable, functional oven mits. I have long fingers for a woman and my husband has wide fingers for a man. We both love these oven mits. They are large enough , yet not too big or bulky. No slipping while taking pans out of oven. Very impressed with them. We’ve used them for a few months now and they are still like new. Wish they were available in different colors.
