One of the best stands for MacBook Pro 2016 with speck case fits snug and free enough to use stress free plus it matches the space grey. A little pricey, however I use two of these as I use my MacBook Pro 15" for work and daily. I use one artwork with lg 5k and just snap it plug one thunderbolt port and Im good to go. I use my MacBook as a laptop for meetings, then when I come home I have another set where I snap this in and plug one thunder bolt and Im good to go. I like this unit because I can use two lg screen while the MacBook takes up very minimal desk space. Good quality, and makes life easier. I have both the space grey and grey.

If you use your MacBook as a desktop like I do, this thing is perfect. I run 2 external monitors off my MacBook Pro and keep the computer itself closed in this. It's sturdy, well-made, and looks like it came from Apple. I've been using mine for about a year now and have zero complaints.

Has 3 inserts for different machines. The most correct one for 2018 13" rMBP is just a little too big so there is a 2-4mm tilt sometimes. Still completely functional just a little disappointing. Color matches, and there are rubber feet to not scratch desk and help prevent movement. Cables can be wired under feet as to not fall off desk, however without a computer in the dock, the dock does move quite easily.

I have been using this for a few months now. While I don't understand why it's so expensive, I can say that it's precisely cut and hence fits perfectly. The product meets all the quality standards that I would expect if it were made by Apple. It's a wonderful minimalist mount that saves space on my desk. I have it paired with a thunderbolt docking station and a 27" 4K display. I plug one cable into the MacBook and it's a full desktop computer.

Excellent stand. Comes with a specific insert for my new Macbook Pro 13 w/Touchbar (late 2016) and two other inserts for other sizes.

I rarely write a reviews but the product and company have blown me away. I came across this product when I was looking to clean up my desk. At the time, I had a case on my macbook air which bulked it up. Instead of using the normal insert for the air I used the insert which fit the macbook pro. This allowed me to keep my bulky case on and still use the stand. Fast forward a few months and I ditch the bulky case and realize I threw out the extra inserts by mistake (put the bookarc box inside another box). I go on Twelve South's website to buy a new insert to find out they don't sell them separately. At this point I'm ready to pay an extra 50 bucks and buy a new one because I really like the look and quality of the product. Instead of impulse buying I shot an email to the company thinking worst case I still have to spend 50 bucks, best case they sell me an insert for 15 bucks. I was wrong the rep responded by saying "We do not sell that insert separately but if you provide me your address I'll be happy to throw it in the mail free of charge." This company is top notch and their product is top notch!! I highly recommend it.

Do you have 15 Amazon tabs open, trying to figure out which vertical laptop stand is going to work best for your 15" MacBook Pro? If so, this review is for you. I was in your shoes about 10 days ago. I kept going back and forth between stands. I've always liked the look of the Book Arc, but I haven't had a need for it until now. I recently purchased an LG ultrawide monitor, and I didn't need my dual screen setup anymore (21" monitor + 15" MacBook Pro on a laptop stand). I needed a stand that kept my laptop cool but saved precious desk real estate. The Book Arc was definitely the most expensive option on my shortlist, but Twelve South makes really great products — and they're headquartered in my home state — so despite some of the less-than-positive reviews here, I went for it. After using it for about a week, I couldn't be happier. My MacBook fits securely, and it's out of the way. When I want to pick it up and put it in my bag, I lift it up and go. The only downside, however, was my HyperDrive USB-C hub. The Book Arc didn't hold my MacBook high enough, so I couldn't use my hub for the monitor's HDMI connection. Simple fix, though: I picked up an HDMI -> USB-C adapter for a few bucks. In short, if you're trying to make up your mind between this stand and cheaper ones like it, spend the extra $15-$20 and go with the Book Arc. You won't regret it, and you won't have to face the utter shame of buying a cheaper one, hating it, buying a Book Arc and hiding the cheaper one in the drawer where your old devices go to die. Or maybe that's just me.

This is a very simple product that does its job and looks great on my desk. I use it with my 2016 MacBook Pro 15". The open bottom allows for good airflow, and I can connect my single USB-C adapter for charging, HDMI, and USB (connected to my monitor's USB hub). My only wish is that it was cheaper.

This beautiful stand fits perfectly for my 2015 Macbook Pro Retina 15" with the included insert 'B' installed. Out of the box the insert 'D' (for 2016 model) is installed so we need to just swap it. The packaging screams premium quality and it sure doesn't disappoint! While the price is high I think this is a keeper. My Macbook Pro sits reasonably stable on this stand. The space saving is truly appreciated.

I love it. It’s robust and kind of heavy. The rubber thing is amazing. It holds the laptop with no shaking. It comes with two extra runners for different sizes of the MacBook. A bit expensive but $10 is not going to diter me since it’s shape is just amazing!! The rubber holders on the bottom are also great for grip. As some mentioned the piece lifts when you remove the laptop but that means the rubber is that good :). Awesome addition to my desk and a great solution for anybody with limited d so space or with an OCD of tidiness.
