A good android charging cable

Finally!! A good android charging cable! I have been through so many charging cords before being told by Amazon Customer Service rep about this one! The last ones I purchased (before this) lasted a week and made me believe something was wrong w/my phone. Now, I have total satisfaction when charging my phone, power bank, tablet, Alexa and more. Since today's world demands so much technology, you have Got To Have a good source for charging. This is the best cord I have found so far for Android! The price is "Unmatched and Unbeatable" which is why, at first I was hesitant to purchase. I kept asking lady w/Amazon "Will you please just help me find the Best cord, not best-priced?" She replied "This Is". She was right.

'THICC' Cable

When these cables first arrived, my reaction was WTF!! I was expecting your typical diameter size cable. These had a much larger diameter. Since my intended use was to power my Samsung tablet in the living room, I gave it a try--my factory cable came apart where the wire meets the connector housing. I really like the cables, particularly the extra stiffness of the cable. For my usage, it's ideal, and the cable appears stronger where the wire meets the housing. Perfect for my X-Box controller!

So I needed a more durable micro USB for my X-Box controller that is hooked up to my PC. Since I like to do PC gaming it was important that I had a cable that was a higher quality than the usual flimsy micro USBs that fall apart quickly just from normal use. This one is awesome! -- it is a secure fit that doesn't fall out when I use my controller (since staying connected is very important!) and I can move it freely without worrying about the head becoming loose thanks to the solid piece covering it. For this price I am so happy! I highly recommend it.

Good quality cables at a good price.

I've been very surprised with the AmazonBasic cable I have used. This one continues the trend of quality cable at a good price. There are cheaper cables out there (I bought them and regretted the purchase later). So far these are the best quality. There is a good plastic casing that feel much better and feels of better material. the heads are reasonable to pick and pull which reduces the pinch that the connector and cable if you just pull the cable out. The ends look to be gold plated which is for longevity connecting. Just need a wipe every now and then. I've bought 2 cables and they are the main choice not for repeatedly needing charge devices, my phone, my table, and my exercise watch. They work well with my fast charger and seem to just keep going. Overall I'm very pleased. I'll check back in a couple of month with an update. But as of now 2-3 weeks of owning them. They are awesome. Work easier than the original factory cables and just plain feel quality. Although I'll need more time to make sure they are quality.

Perfect For My Uses

I purchased the 10ft cable to use to power one of my security cameras inside my house. The big concern I had when purchasing it was whether or not it would be able to conduct enough power in order to power the camera, seeing as this camera connected over wi-fi and was pushing 4K quality video. This cable was and is performing its job wonderfully! The cable seems to be well made. It is difficult for me to test the durability because how I have it set up I don't interact with it often. For those who are looking to use this cable on the go, I do like the fact that it comes with a cable wrap. One of the good things about amazon basics products is that they provide amazing support! If I do happen to run into a problem, I know that I would be able to receive a replacement very quickly!

Good quality cord, snug fit! No more loose cables about to fall out of the phone with the slightest touch

So far I'm loving it. The length is great and the cords seem good quality. The fit into my phone is tight and needs a little bit of effort to pull out, WHICH I LOVE. I've had so many loose chargers that feel like (or actually do) they'll pull out of the phone with the simplest of movements (which if pulled out not intentionally, damages the cord). That doesn't happen with these and it's absolutely great.

Good quality, great price.

These do exactly what you expect. They have both power and data lines, and after months of all-day usage these are still like new. Great rubber-plastic ends have not chipped or broken, and the cable has stayed straight without kinks. Also has held up great in the cold, as i have one of these in my car. Average temperature is 3 degrees Fahrenheit here in the winter, and even through constant sub-freezing temperatures, the jacketing has not cracked or broken.

Great USB A-Male to Micro B Cable by AmazonBasics

AmazonBasics USB 2.0 A-Male to Micro B Cable, 10 feet, Black Has been a great cable so far since purchasing it. No problems connecting and disconnecting it to several different devices as this cable is being used as a charging cable for our smart devices. Still has a firm connect and disconnect feeling every time. I would recommend this to a friend or family member, great product with the "AmazonBasics" brand labeling on it.

Would not fit into my Fire HD8... Updated!

The Micro B end would not fit into my Fire HD8 (7th generation)? The inside hole in the Micro B end seams to small? The original just slid right in easily, this one wont. I've learned over the years not to force things. I've contacted Amazon for a replacement; I'll update my review if the issue is resolved. Update; Amazon sent me a replacement cable, it works perfect! I recommend the cable! Thank You Amazon!

Great value for money

This looks to be a well-made cable. The wire is thick and is molded directly into the end connectors. The micro USB fits snugly and firmly into my smartphone. I have bought other AmazonBasics products and IMO the "basics" in the name refers to the price. The products themselves have been mid-line up to premium quality. Great value for money!
