3rd shoulder surgery and 3rd pulley unit and by far the best

Photos by vendor pretty much show everything I like about this. Not a rope but a lighter, sturdier nylon cord. Not plastic but metal pulley unit. Over the door piece is metal with cushioning pieces and the door shut as if nothing were there - I had one pulley where the door would not shut and one where it shut with force. The plastic handles are curved for more natural grip and you do not have to make a knot to adjust the length of the cord - just pull it through the handle teeth for correct length. The design of the anchoring piece even has an extension on it so the pulley is not clanging and smashing on the door every time you touch the unit or the door. All these little things add up to the best pulley ever for me. Only improvement could possibly be a sturdier handle -- it does not seem to be on par with the rest of the quality of the unit - I do, however, prefer the design to adjust the cord length - maybe you cannot have it both ways. Highly recommend.

Great quality, great price, better than other brands I've tried

I really like this pulley! It deserves the 5 stars I gave it. One important feature is that it has a padded hook to go over the door. Cheaper pulleys don't have hooks, and even some with hooks don't have padding to protect the door from getting scratched. So this is a big plus. Another good feature is that the length of the pulley rope is easily adjustable by tying a knot below the handles. Depending on your height and length of your arms this is very important. It's a very reasonable price as well for such a good quality pulley. I just ordered a 2nd one to keep at my work since I have to do my exercises 3 times a day. This way I don't have to bring it back and forth from home. Even though it's lightweight I can use all the convenience possible right now given that I have a major arm rehab to undergo. For less than $20 it's totally worth having it in each place I need it, already set up to use.

Shoulder Rehab

I had major rotator cuff and bicep surgery. A pulley was mandatory for successful rehab. There are a lot of choices but this one was perfect. I used it several times daily for 5 months and it was great. Easy to set up (just hang over a door) and sturdy enough that no problems with it after much use.

Helped with my rotator cuff injury

This product was a lifesaver. I have had serious shoulder pain and rotator cuff issues for five years. It has been difficult to get a good stretch and put my arm above my head. This allows me to do so with very little effort. Easy to use. Hooks right over the door and has foam so it does not scratch the door! So glad I purchased this.

Might outlast Mom

So my Mom swears that her shoulders do better when she does her exercises. Still can't lift her arms above her shoulders, but she's 91 and coping. Her old equipment (the pulley) was pretty well shot so I replaced her freeby from the home PT guys with this model. Seem stouter than the old squeeker (the pulley) it replaced.

Easy Set Up and Use

After my shoulder surgery the doctor wanted me to use a pulley system daily for physical therapy. This was very easy to set up and use. I found it helpful during rehab.

Best quality, most comfortable to use

I got a pully system per my PT's recommendation. I wanted the highest quality & most comfortable fit and feel this is what I got with this product. Ther hand grips are especially comfortable, all the more important if you have issues with your hands as well as shoulder area. I would and already hacer recommended this product

Therapy

Works great! I had shoulder surgery and that is part of my therapy! It helped me gain my range of motion so I am able to do simple things again like wash my hair!

Simple, well-priced, effective

I ordered this for my Dad, who had a shoulder injury and is NOT one to normally submit to ongoing therapy. However, he was able to use this product and DID - and it helped! Well-priced, fast shipping, immediate set-up, simple to use...AND it works! I'd recommend this one!

Works great - excellent device for shoulder rehab.

Great product! Works great. It's the same pulley used at my physical therapy office. Easy to hang on a door & easy to remove when not in use. I'm very pleased with the pulley. I recommend this product.
