everything works fine

I ordered this globe for my son 5 yo, who began to be very interested in different countries, distances and time of the day in them. I was looking for such a globe, according to which the child will easily understand the information. The size and graphic style was important in this case. And this globe fits to my requirements. A wonderful addition is the night mode (works from the socket), when you turn on the backlight. I had no problems with packaging or quality of the product, everything works fine. My son was delighted when he saw his gift and with pleasure began to study our planet. So seems I made a right choice.

This globe arrived quickly and very well packaged for ultimate protection. The globe is a nice size 9 inches diameter or so. The words are clear and easy to read and include the states and capitals. The colors of the globe are bright and vibrant, the stand is a shiny silver chrome. There is a nice longish cord with an easy to turn on button to show the constellations at night. This globe is nicer than i expected...so much so that i ordered a second one. I am very pleased with the globes. sincerely, L R V.

This is a very nice globe for inquisitive kids

This is a very nice globe for inquisitive kids. We got it for our 6-year old daughter for Christmas and it actually ended up being one of her favorite gifts this year. I think this would appeal to kids in a lot of age ranges. The vibrant colorful depiction of the Earth's surface is appealing to younger kids (Kindergarten and pre-K), but the level of detail is easily enough to be useful for older kids too. There's something about a globe that really fascinates kids that re already curious about the world around them. We like being able to show her where on Earth some of her favorite movies and books take place. She says that her favorite thing about it is the way it lights up to show constellations.

Super educatonal product!!

This is an excellent product. My wife babysits for three children and they are just fascinated as she shows them where things are in the world. If the news happens to be on the TV and another country is named they want her to show them where it is. Any excellent product to fill some of the gaps in kid's education. By the way, they are 3 and 4 years old so they are getting an early start. A little early for the constellations yet.

Great globe

The globe is not only beautiful but it is built well. The base is study enough to allow for turning the globe without it sliding across the table or tipping over. The light shows during the day and is a perfect soft glow at night. The cord has a switch to easily shut off the light when needed. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Well-made and vibrant colors

We got this globe for my son's room. It is the perfect addition to his "map-themed" room. The globe is lightweight, spins easily, and is well-made. The colors are vibrant and the locations are well labeled. The light-up, constellation feature is an added bonus. We simply cannot find anything negative to say about this globe.

Great product... best option for the price.

Excellent product. Perfect size for our son's bedroom (about the size of a volleyball). Very detailed geographic maps of the world, and very interesting map of star constellations when it's turned on to glow. Makes a great night light too! Our son loves it (5 y/o).
