Cute and realistic

My child received it today. The first thing she did was put it on and start "baking" with playdoh. The cookie cutters would work with real food and the whisk would work, too. The rolling pin may actually be perfect for her to use in making REAL treat. She hung her apron with mine lol. She loves it and I love seeing her joy.

I bought this for my Grand Niece's third birthday. She's quite the baker already, and this is something I know she'll really like. Her birthday isn't until next month, but I'm pretty confident that she will love it as much as her "Great" Aunt will love giving it to her. It looks like it's very high quality, and I think the hat and apron will be the biggest hits and will give her much enjoyment--and hopefully me some chocolate chip cookies . . . :)

I want to thank all the other reviewers of this child's chef set; your good comments were so helpful, and the deciding factor for me. I bought this adorable chef set for a 5-year-old little girl named Evelyn, who I will never meet. Her gift-wish was one of the tags I took from the Christmas wish-tree where I bank. I have no children and there are none in my orbit, so I am fairly clueless about child sizing. Evelyn wished for a "pots and pans set." Check, got it. Had fun on the toy side of Amazon, which was all new to me. Bought a dish set, too. Then I saw this chef's set, and well, it was irresistible. Thanks again for helping me make a 5-year-old's Christmas wish come true.

Adorable Chef Set

I gave this chef set to a neighbor's daughter for her fourth birthday, along with some cake and cookies mixes and icing. She loves it, and looks adorable in in the apron, chef's cap and mitt. We plan to do some baking together soon. The pot holder and mitt are cute, but they are not to be used for picking-up hot pans. I do plan to let my little neighbor use the rolling pin and cookie cutters to make cookies. She likes using the whisk and spoon to stir anything.

Bought this for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter for Christmas and she immediately wanted it opened! She wore it the entire night. She currently wears 24 month or 2T clothes and this is a little big but not too big to where she cannot wear it comfortably. Really good quality and goes along perfectly with her play kitchen. This is something she plays with almost everyday. I would definitely recommend this.

Cute Christmas Gift Idea!

I bought this set for my niece for Christmas. We live several states away and I wanted to gift her an experience while we were home. She has so many toys and I was wanting to give her something that hopefully she will remember. We were able to bake cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve! The actual material of the apron and hat are what to be expected with a child's low price costume. It worked great for the hour or so we were baking. She has a little kitchen set that she plays with and she will still use the apron, hat and mitten. Overall, it was a fun gift to give a little kid.

We Love It

Very nice set! Fits my tall 5-year-old perfectly — the top has ties so I would say this can be adjusted to fit older children, too. The hat doesn’t fit as loosely as I would have hoped, but we make it work. Love the things that came in this set, and the cute recipe book.
