Held solar panels on my roof even through winter storms.
I use these to hold solar panels to a metal roof. I can change their position if I need to. They hold extremely well. I substituted 10/24 flat head machine screws to hold a magnet to each solar panel support bracket. Six magnets will hold a 100 watt solar panel tight. I made round washers out of 1/2" plywood with a hole saw and put one on each magnet to give the panels enough clearance over the ribs on the roof. Works great! No holes in the roofing! I use them for water heating solar panels on the roof too and even the pipes that run to them.

Strong!
Seems to be super strong and good for what I intend to use them for. I did crack the first one I tried to screw in so they are a little brittle as noted in the ad.

Magnetic
Bought these for a project thinking I’d need all 10 to hold things together. Boy was I wrong. One is almost too much. The instructions provided mention not to get your fingers between two of these. Heed these instructions! Little buggers are way more powerful than I would have expected in all the good ways. As per the instructions, they are brittle, so don’t overtighten the screws when mounting, they do break. Fun to mess around with, they’re so strong you can use them to find screws in drywall (to locate studs) in a house 3 doors down. I found metal in my wall because I put the box 3” away and it slid across the counter and stuck to the wall. Love these little things, but now I have 8 to spare...

Great product
Mounted 5 of these on the rails of my lathe to hold tools and screwdrivers and they hold them all firmly. Use them to hold plans and drawings to my file cabinet for projects I am working on. Think I should deduct 1 star from my personal rating as even though many reviewers said be careful about getting the magnets too close, I thought "how bad can this be"?. Anyway I moved 2 near each other, they flew together and shattered both. Makes me feel even dumber to know something and do it anyway. Really pleased with the quality and price to these magnets. Am ordering more.

Strong, Well-Finished Magnets
I was building a custom flyfishing rod holder to use when driving from spot to spot along the river. These magnets were perfect to inlay in the underside of the holder’s base, so they secure it to the hood of my car. The magnets are consistent in dimensions—I made recessed spaces for six magnets, and these all dropped in nicely. And they’re strong! I can’t speak to their durability, but I’ll update this review after they’ve seen some of the world.

Five Stars
super strong magnet. I installed them in my garage to keep my workbench organized. Hang my tools so I can have a quick access while working on something. the screws come with the mag are made of non ferrous metals, looks like some kind of stainless steel. ships fast. meets my needs. five stars

Powerful magnet
Mine arrived today - 2 boxes of 5 magnets each in styrofoam to keep them distant from iron and other magnets. I have already cemented one to the inside of a plastic prescription bottle cap to use on my refrigerator (using the amazing eclectic Plumber's GOOP). If the flat area on one of my cordless drills is large enough, I will glue the magnet to the side of the screwdriver so that bits can be kept together with the driver. The screws that came with my magnets are "large" - for a large magnet - #10 flat head. The head of the screw fits flush with the magnet. They 'appear' to be stainless steel. The image on the Amazon product page makes them appear to be size #6 or #8 and longer than 5/8 inch.

Really strong magnets! be careful. Used to make license plate easily mount to car bumper.
Really super strong magnets which was really good for my use as a license plate holder/mount. The strength in magnets travels well through bumper material and stays put. With the bumper inbetween two sets of magnets and holding my license plate, I was able to get up to 100 mph and license plate did not fly off the car which shows how strong these magnets really are. You can feel the power as I was really hesitant to let it snap together.

Very strong magnets, but read the label
These are good strong magnets. Fortunately, there is a generous countersink in the center, so you can reuse round head screws when you replace the feet on something. You can see in the picture below I replaced the rubber feet of a Foredom LX tool with four of these and it holds the unit to a steel pillar like a vice. The magnet box has a BIG "Fragile" warning, and believe them! They are! Broke one right off. I am not sure whether they are really "fragile" or just under a lot of internal stress that wants to push the magnet apart. If you break one try pushing the broken surfaces together and you will see what I mean.

I received my magnets today - am very pleased with them
I received my magnets today - am very pleased with them. I am a seamstress and wanted a smooth, strong magnet to hold fabric to my ironing board while I am hemming & ironing curtains, drapes or articles of clothing. These magnets are super strong, and one magnet holds a pair of sweatpants to the edge of my ironing board without sliding at all. (And yes, I have a padded cover on my ironing board). Surpassed my expectations! I do recommend holding on to the dividers if you are going to keep 2 or more together - they will be difficult to get apart without them. Super strong!
