Nice product! The leg issue is no big deal.

Those who were upset about the legs not quite even? This is truly no big deal. Just put a piece of cardboard under one. I don't get why that is such a turn off to some. We have an old house and things are just not level sometimes, and a piece or two of cardboard fixes that totally. The performance is the key, not a bit of an uneven leg. All of the microwaves we have had here need that, and we expected it. No biggie. So we have used the microwave option several times and it is great! This item replaces a microwave/convection oven that died a few days ago, and it is more powerful than what we had. The LED lights inside are great to see what is cooking, too. We are happy with this purchase so far.

Gift for Mom

This review is for the 1.5 microwave/convection combo. It seems average size to me, not overly large but I'm used to a built-in and this is smaller than that! I bought this as a gift for my Mom as her new house didn't have a built in microwave and the idea of an extra oven for holidays appealed to her. It included 2 racks, turntable, turntable post/mount, and a small instruction book. We tried all settings immediately as we didn't want a surprise later when it's to late to send back. We removed the glass turntable and plastic post/mount before trying the convection and combo settings. The convection setting did take about the same time as my oven to preheat, I did get the plastic smell but I got that with my regular oven the first time when I bought it new and consider that normal for first time use. The outside got pretty warm but I could still put my hand on it and it was not as warm as a convection toaster oven I own. The rear by the fan also did not get as warm as the sides and top during operation. I would suggest using common sense with this device and not using metal on the microwave or combo setting and removing the turntable since it's mount is plastic when using combo or convection. A good set of glass casserole dishes would be ideal, along with a convection oven cookbook that gives helpful conversions as well as recipes. My best advice is get to know how it cooks, I have never had two ovens, especially convection ovens cook the same. Happy cooking!

It actually crisps.

It's a microwave and as such does the job as you would expect. It is also a convection oven and does the job exquisitely. Baked potatoes ( yes an E), crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Frozen pizza, Crispy bottom. What more could you ask?

Excellent quality. Very pleased

Product extremely well packaged. User Manual better than most. Quality of build is excellent. It has the Microwave and the Convective mode and is superb in operation. I also very much like that it is not over-engineered with faddish bells and whistles which no one really ever uses, yet which add severe complexity, and markedly increase the chances of malfunction. This is a solid product with everything necessary, and no extras that are expensive but foolish add-ons. Amazon Prime's "2 Day Shipping" is getting to be a rude joke, and I am not likely to renew my Prime membership this year. This microwave was one of several items I ordered via Prime which I received notice (after I paid) would be "delayed". 2 Day shipping is 2 Day shipping. Or refund my Prime membership Fee.

Great and not heating the kitchen

Works like a charm, pizza in 25 min Crisp and not heating the kittchen , true love

but the quality seems like very good

It is bigger and heavier than I think...but the quality seems like very good! The black stainless steel looks premium and it has all the functions I normally use, and the convection is perfect and my favorite! I can cook my style chicken wings with microwave oven now.

Microwave is easy to use

But the Convection side is difficult. Of course it would help if someone had a cook book out geared for this type of unit. I love the microwave. And would probably love the convection side, if I could get a recipe book for it. My wife passed away and I thought this would be the perfect size for only me. I tried downsizing regular recipes to no avail. If anyone knows of a cook book specifically geared to these kinds of ovens, please let the world and me know.

You should really buy this

I have searched and looked at reviews high and low at all the different appliance stores HSN and QVC Amazon, Amazon had exactly what I needed for the price that was what I wanted. It does everything just to perfection. I love this item recommend it to anybody.

Compared to my old one with the same primary features, this is a breeze to set for a particular job,

So far, so good. It's July in Tennessee, not exactly the best time to use a real oven, so I haven't. But I have used the microwave function a lot, and I really love it. My previous micro/convection was a different brand that had 2 knobs to control various functions, and I disliked them intensely; I was always under- or over-shooting the desired value, and I wasted a lot of time fiddling with them to get to the number I wanted. This one has entered the digital age and made accurate setting easy. I haven't tried the presets (I don't do much commercial popcorn, I guess), but if I already know how long at how much power, I'm in business. If I have anything to really add to this after I try the convection function, I'll update this. (I've done it before, and I get angry at retailers who won't let me update my own reviews).

Nice looking a great addition, but is a large oven.

This microwave is a great addition to my appliances. After my last microwave started arcing out by the lightbulb snd tried to catch fire i searched for a replacement. The convection oven combo sealed the deal and the price was great. This oven is larger than my last one which is a plus. I i Unboxed it today and so far the microwave portion works great have not used the oven portion yet but will update as I do. Update 2/4/19: this unit has ran great! The convection oven has been used many times with no issues. Love it!
